I usually wear a size 8, ordered 8.5 based on other reviews. 8.5 felt small & tight, so unfortunately had to return.

This is my third pair of Merrell Jungle Mocs, after wearing through 3 pairs of Regular. I'm disappointed that they seem to be smaller and tighter than before. I have been wearing the same size but after ordering the same size they are just very tight. If I were in a shoe store trying on these shoes I would never buy them, so they're going back. I will have to find a different shoe.

The arch was an extremely tight fit and uncomfortable over the top of the foot. Not a shoe you can just slip on. The toe box and length were actually OK but the shoe was unbelievably tight over the top of the arch making it unwearable.

I had to return these because my recommended size in this waterproof shoe was uncomfortably tight across the front and also seemed shorter than my last and usual (not waterproof) pair of Jungle Mocs. I haven't reordered the waterproof in the next size up because I'm not convinced even a half size larger wouldn't be uncomfortable to break in, especially across the front of the foot...the answered questions indicate there is a 2-week break-in period, and I'm not willing to put my feet through that. I will probably return to the non-waterproof style, which I've bought many times and has always been an easy break in and seems waterproof enough for most of my purposes.

I wore the same Merrell Jungle Mocs for 13 years every winter. They were awesome. Like really awesome. I finally had to admit that I had worn down the tread and needed to retire them and get myself new waterproof snow/ice shoes. I normally wear a 9.5. I ordered the 9.5 and I could barely get my foot in. I then ordered the 10, and while I could get my foot in, it was so tight on the tops of my toes and foot I need to return them. Also, the 10 was too long and my foot kept slipping forward and backward and my heel kept slipping out of the back. It's like the whole thing is sized really wacky. Why, oh why, is it tight on top of the toes? It's like walking around with a toddler standing on my feet. I am so sad about this. Given how awesome my old pair was, it was a no-brainer for me to order new ones, hoping to get another 13 years out of them. My hunt for cool looking waterproof shoes continues.

I was unable to even get my feet into the opening of this shoe with a light sock on. Finally squeezed into it without socks, and the fit was snug but OK; but since it's an outdoor winter shoe, I am not about to wear them without socks. Returned them. Very disappointed, as I normally love Merrells.

Really like the style and the shoe would be perfectly suited for an upcoming trip to Europe this winter. It has good arch support and is waterproof but is way too small for my size. I normally wear a 7 1/2 but I am returning these to try for the next size. Keeping my fingers crossed because I really like them

I am between a 7.5/8 and they were still narrow in an 8. I am petite and this style was too clunky for me.

I am really disappointed in the quality of these shoes, so I had to send them back. They are nowhere near as comfortable as my Merrell Jungle Mocs (non-waterproof). They felt significantly narrower and came with insoles that must have been made of cardboard or something. I wore them in the house for a day and they hurt my feet, so I had to give them back. But hey, Zappos is awesome for returns. That is why I will only buy shoes from Zappos.

I have loved Merrells over the years and needed to replace a similar pair. These Merrells are wider in the heels and narrower in the toe box than the ones I had. They are slipping off in the heel with not enough height in the toebox.

I love the regular Merrell Jungle Mocs (Non water proof ones) so I decided to buy the Merrell Jungle Moc Waterproof shoes. We live in CO. I bought the same size as I did for the first purchase and was very surprised and disappointed when they did not fit at all. When Merrell added the toe reinforcement, they did not allow for the extra space in the front part of the shoe. My toes hit the end of the shoe. I now need to change brands to continue to search for the style like these shoe have with the waterproof aspect I need. Back to the drawing board I go.

I have many pairs of this particular shoe in different colors and materials. I needed an updated weather proof pair and ordered my "usual." I could not even get them on my feet because they were so narrow! I am really disappointed and will be returning these shoes. I am frustrated because this has always been a great go to shoe!

Having heard this shoe ran small I ordered a half size up. Still, I could not even fit my foot into the opening (which is very small)to even try on the shoe. Returning it. Very disappointed.

This shoe is totally different than the old jungle moc. The cut is much higher which hits right at the ankle bone and makes the shoe uncomfortable. It also is big and clunky compared to the earlier model.

The shoe is no longer made like when it came out. There is far less depth in the shoe making it very tight even for a narrow foot. The sole insert covers the size markings, the manufacturer is using less material on top of shoe width. This review is a comparison with shoes I bought in a store. Times have changed quality and you know why.

this shoe is more narrow and shorter and harder to put on then the nubuck. cant wear it.

These run extremely small! I ordered an 11 and they feel like a 10. Needless to say they must be returned.

I love these shoes! I wear them all winter in a very snowy and wet city. I only change to high boots if I am waking in high snow. Very comfy, supportive, and waterproof (even without spray).
