I have had a pair of these shoes for three years. I have traveled to New York, San Francisco, Paris, London, and Amsterdam with these as my primary footwear. You just cannot kill these shoes. Rain, cobblestones, you name it, they take a pounding. The fit, look, and comfort are still as great as the day I bought them. Arch support is good for a sandal - consistent with Merrell standards. The Velcro adjusts every wear for a nice, snug fit.

There is a weird lump in the front of the shoe by the toe, across the insole. It is uncomfortable and the only reason I am returning these shoes.

These shoes are Love at First where! I truly love the width of the toolbox. Its nice and wide. Well I'm not used to an Adventure sandal like this, I love the fact that is completely adjustable. I'm definitely going to keep these, and enjoy running around you open them. Thank you Merrell!

Put these on and wore them for 4 days of Spring Training in AZ. Lots of walking and standing. From casual (airport and stadiums) to dinner out (try Citizen Public House!) they were both comfortable and attractive.

These are the perfect shoes! They can be adjusted to fit across the foot and behind. They are so comfortable!

OMG I love these shoes! So incredibly comfortable, wore them right out of the box with no issues. Was looking for something closed toe (for work) and a neutral color (wild dove) and these are great. At first I thought they may be too industrial looking but the comfort outweighs that and I get so many compliments on them so I guess they aren't too industrial looking! The only issues people may have, are the ankle straps. I have small ankles and the ankle straps just work for me, if you have super small ankles you may not be able to adjust/snug the ankle straps enough to keep the shoes from being sloppy. I see pink and I want pink!

This is a really pretty shoe, makes large feet look small. The toe area though is hard and not the most comfortable but the arch support is great (I have fallen arches and need the arch support). Wish they had these in half sizes - I wear a 9 1/2 and ordered a 9 as most reviewers say they run big. I think a 10 would have been too large. Will have to wear them a longer time to see if they're comfortable for long wear with my toes hitting the hard toe box area. The fastener is also a little hard to squeeze but maybe with repeated use it'll loosen up.

I love this shoe. In fact, I love all three pairs of this sandal that I have and would have more pairs but by the time I fell in love with this much comfort, my size choices were limited. My foot is long (size 11/12), narrow heel, high arch, wide toe and I can wear these shoes for 16 hours and never think about my feet (unless I happen to think how comfortable they are). I love Merrells and Zappos, by the way. And most all of them fit but these do not rub anywhere, are flexible and adaptable to most foot sizes. I guess I don't have a really fat foot because my only suggestion would be that the Velcro strip might have a little more Velcro on it (it works for me but if my foot were any thinner, that might be an issue. But with Zappos, you can try it. If this shoe works for you, you can thank me (and Zappos) later. It is also very cute - I wear these anywhere - hiking, shopping, even to church. My large foot looks pretty cute in these cute shoes. Enough said. Order and enjoy!

I absolutely love these shoes. I have three pairs in different colors and I bought an extra pair in black. I have narrow heels with a wide forefoot and a high arch. These are the most comfortable shoes that I have had, certainly the absolutely most comfortable sandals. I really like that they make my size 11 feet look a bit less boat like and the brown, otter, and black styles are so cute. I wear them to church, to dinner, to the grocery store - wherever and my feet are so comfortable that I forget I have shoes on. A friend recently visited and felt the same way although she has wide size 8 feet. If they made more colors, I would buy them, too.

Mixed feelings about this shoe. Comfort was there. And I have big (size 11) flat feet, making it difficult to find a flattering shoe for my foot. This provided a flattering look, but I wasn't a fan of the feminine design on the toe half mixed with the more bulky and athletic type style of the ankle strap. It was like the shoe was stuck between two styles. So, I returned it. But flattering and comfortable for sure. If you liked the style, it'd be a great shoe for you!

Love them. Comfy from day one. Wore them traveling immediately. Recommend Scotchgard spray. I usually wear 8 - 8 1/2, with a wide foot, but I ordered an 8 and they are perfect.

Great shoes! I wore these (new) on a two week trip to Europe and walked over 100 miles. I usually wear a 7 1/2 but since there are no half-sizes, I went with the 7. They are super adjustable so they fit very well.

I have hard-to-fit feet: wide across the ball of the foot, high arches, and narrow heel. These shoes fit great and are so comfortable! Being able to adjust both the instep and the ankle straps is a big plus. The arch support is fine, and the style is very cute. I tried on three other styles to find something in a tan or taupe, and wound up going back to these in the tan. My only complaint is that the other neutral colors have brightly colored accents that limit what I can wear them with.

I really love this shoe. It fits the ankle and heel well because you can adjust the straps and there's room in the toe box. The only thing I don't like it the material is nubuck and that can get dirty fast. Other than that it is a great shoe.

I love the concept of this shoe but found the toe bed wide and the footbed hard which is good for water but I wanted them as summer hiking shoes. I would like more arch support. Cute shoe, good looking and good adjustments.

These are my go to shoes in the summer and fall. They are perfect for casual or dress. My first pair purchased last summer felt true to size and width. My newest two pairs (yes, I like them so much I have three colors) seem to run a little larger!

I am thrilled with these sandals! They are the cutest comfort/walking sandals that I have ever seen and they truly are more comfortable than my Keen Whispers and look much more feminine! They even look nice enough to go out for a casual dinner (maybe because I chose the black), and are wonderful for traveling. I recently wore them in Italy for lots of sightseeing. They run long compared to Merrell athletic or hiking shoes. I am normally an 8½-9, but the size 8 sandal fits very well. I would say the width is medium, definitely not wide as some people have said. Since my feet are picky after surgeries, I need a relatively wide toe box, so I put stretchers in the toe area for several days and really stretched out the mesh that goes around the pinky toes and the straps that also cross over sensitive bones. Now they are perfect! Also added some Dr. Scholl's molefoam padding cut into arch support shapes - that does the trick for those who need extra arch support. All in all, these are my favorite sandals in a couple of years!

I have owned these shoes for nearly two years, and just took them on a trip to Mexico and fell in love with them all over again. I was walking up and down steep cobblestone streets, and these shoes felt secure on my feet and comfortable. Due to the enclosed toe, I can wear low profile "footies" by Naturalizer in black or nude and they are nearly invisible, but keep my feet feeling good in hot weather. I have narrow feet and the structure of the enclosed portion of the foot makes them a good fit for not wide feet. They will be my "go to" shoe for all of my travels!

Overall, a very comfortable sandal. My feet measure 7/7.5 so I bought size 8. I have bunions and these sandals completely covered my bunions. I also have slightly flat feet and I plan to add some more Velcro to the underside of the top strap so I can get a more secure fit. (Like many reviewers have written, the plastic clasp is hard to release but I don't even bother with it.) The heel strap on the back of the foot doesn't cut into the foot. I bought these in Black and in Wild Dove. The Wild Dove looks light gray online but actually has a tinge of mauve. I liked these sandals so much I bought two more in Black to have as backups.

I have slightly wide feet ("wide" shoes are too big, but some styles of regular shoes are too narrow) and prefer my toes not to be squished when I'm wearing casual sandals. These are perfect for me. Roomy but not huge. I got these because I live in flip flops from April throughout October, and I wanted a closed toe option. For a sport sandal, they are feminine and not too clunky or matronly. The only thing is that I wish the prickly part of the velcro straps was longer. I'm pretty thin (5'3, 104-105 pounds) and the straps barely can be pulled tight enough to fit on the upper part. Overall, I am very satisfied with these shoes. I also run in Merrell shoes and love those as well.

I love these shoes so much I bought 3 pair. I wear a size 12 and they are the first in a long line that actually fit. Seems 12's are becoming the new 11. They are comfortable and have a bit of an arch that is most helpful as I have a high arch. The adjustments they have on the shoe help to make an almost perfect fit! Wish Merrell made more of their shoes for women in size 12.

These are extremely nice shoes that are incredibly comfortable. They are adjustable on the heel and across the top of the foot with Velcro attachments. I love the straps that hold the shoe securely while I walk...great for long walks. They are also cute and stylish and can be worn with nice socks to make them more dressy which makes them flexible. They are also light weight. I have wide feet so they are extra wonderful for me.

I ordered this shoe 1/2 size up and it fits really well. I have very wide feet with a narrow heel, and these fit great! I may end up getting another pair in another color, too. I like that they can go with skirts or pants.

Great fit for my slightly Fred Flintstone-ish foot. Got them in the mail, packed them immediately and wore them in sunny CA the next day. No break in needed, they fit me well and were the perfect footwear for an active vacation. All that and stylish, too!
