These classics truly are classic -- they remain the same. I bought my first pair back in 2008 and I have worn them almost every day since then. They wear like iron. But finally, the leather edgings started to fray so I ordered the identical pair a few weeks ago. And yes, they are exactly the same. No bogus updates or improvements needed. They are perfect!

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and look good, too. They are also not a bad price, for what you get. They did come a bit big, so I sent back the first pair for one half a size smaller, and these fit well. The returns and shipping are free, so that is good.

I have purchased similar shoes from Merrill, but got this one for my 90 year old Mother. She was wearing "slides" that didn't give her much support and would slip off? She loves these shoes and said they are a snug but comfortable fit and with give her the support she needs. She lives where rain and some snow can make errand running treacherous for one her age. I am so happy that she will be more secure in these shoes! Thank you Merrell for your comfort and quality support.

How are these shoes supposed to fit? Are they supposed to be tight in back or should they easily slip on like a clog? Generally wear somewhere between 8 & 8.5 so ordered an 8. Just want to make sure they aren't too small before I start wearing them.

I love these shoes! I wear them nearly every day because they support my feet without any rubbing or pressure points. My ¾ orthotic inserts fit in well (after removing the existing footbed). They are nice light, breathable shoes. I will buy again!

I have 5 pairs, I am a retired RN and I would have never made it to retirement, after my foot surgery, without this shoe. It is a shoe you can work a 12 hour shift in, and still feel like you can make it to you car without crawling. It is really a great shoe.

I hike in the desert mountains every day. This is my 4th pair of Encore Breeze. I keep purchasing them since they last a long time, provide cool comfort for 100+ desert temps , and the soles prevent slipping on rocky, sandy slopes. My back tends to ache if I'm on my feet on hard surfaces for long periods so I wear them at home on those busy running-around days. The ample cushioned sole prevents back aches. I typically wear size 9, but in Merrells, size 8 1/2 always fits. Great product. Excellent quality. Happy to see all the additional color choices offered.

After trying 3 different pairs of Encore Breeze 3 in three different sizes, I finally hit on the perfect size for me. I have a wide foot and high arches. In the regular M width shoes I was unable to get my foot in. Fortunately, it came to my attention that these shoes came in wide which are absolutely perfect for me. They look and feel great!
