I love these - very comfortable and versatile. Also easy care. I hope the mesh tops wears as well as the leather but that will take time to find out!

I had the Merrell Encore Breeze a number of years ago. It was my go to knock around town/walk the dog shoe. Loved it. I read all the reviews on this 3rd edition. As mentioned by another reviewer, it does come up significantly higher on the foot than the model I had. The heel is also shallower, as also noted. When I put the 1st shoe on, I had a little trouble getting my foot in. I have a calcium deposit on the top of both feet from years of wearing clogs. That bump made it more difficult to get the shoe on. At first I thought I was definitely returning them. But then I decided to try walking around the house. Bottomline...I am keeping them. I think they run 1/2 size small. I normally take a 9. In this shoe I took an 8 1/2. Once I figured out I could slide my foot in sideways for an easier entry, the shoes felt fine. The top of the shoe hits above the calcium deposit. I have high arches and the arch support was very good. I was on my feet for a while...very comfortable. I need a wide toe box. This shoe had decent room for my toes. The heel does come out a bit due to the shallower heel shape. Doesn't bother me. I have achilles tendonitis, so the lower the back of the shoe, the better for me. I like the minimalist styling...very clean looking. Flattering on the foot. Not at all like a clunky clog. Great, lighter weight too with the mesh uppers.

I love these shoes! Great color..always loved Merrell shoes! However, these are just too big..all over. Like they were old, and had already stretched out...I know if I try to walk too fast, they'll fly off my feet! It has a really nice wide toe bed, which I need.. I am definitely going to try one half size smaller...still LOVE the shoe!!

I love these and have been wearing these shoes, or earlier versions, for several summers. I use my orthotics with them, so I can't really comment on arch support, but they work well with the orthotics. However, this year they are running a HALF SIZE LARGER than the exact same shoe last year.

The sole of these shoes is incredibly comfortable! My only problem is that there is no give in the top of the shoe. I have a high arch and a wide foot. The upper cuts into the top of my foot. Any elescticity would help.

I have another pair of Merrells that fit. THis pair the heel doesnt fit.

Marrell quality has changed. Band across top of foot is tight and has not loosened up since purchase. Toe box seems more narrow than prior pair in same size. Wore and loved their clog style for years. Hope they find a new manufacturer to execute their designs.

great shoe but runs large as compared to previous Encore. Had to return to 1/2 size smaller.

I am going on a trip that will include touring gardens and I wanted a shoe that would be light and easy to carry in a backpack and use when necessary. These shoes will be perfect for that. They run quite large- I ordered down a half size from seeing reviews- but still had to exchange for another half size down- so I recommend ordering a full size down from you normal. The shoe isn't crazy high quality- but it is comfortable and will suit my purpose.

Very comfortable shoe and liked the style. Didn't hold my heel securely so felt they would too easily fall off when walking.

I am very happy with the Merrell Encore Sea Breeze 3. I bought one pair, wore them for a few days and ordered a second pair for the future. I find them very comfortable and good looking. I am a bit worried about long-term looks with the mesh fabric... but I did buy that second pair! I do wish there was a bit more arch support, but so far, I'm pleased. BTW, I bought these because I really like their sandals.

Last pair of brown Merrells was same color brown all over, without the lighter bed. Would have preferred the prior uniform color. Also I know that with time they will break in, but the footbed is designed for one sort of foot, and not so sure that it is mine. However, these do tend to last a long time and I am confident I will enjoy them.

These are the first Merrell's I've had, and I'm pleased with them. I wanted a pair of shoes with support to wear around the house now that winter is coming and my Vionic sandals have to be shelved. I have PF and morton's neuroma, have had two foot surgeries, and need something with support for my high maintenance feet. My feet are narrow and I wondered if these would be too wide, but the fit is good. The arch support could be a bit better, but overall I am pleased with the shoe. It was comfortable right out of the box and is easy on-off for me.

I read all the reviews of the breeze 3 and I have to agree that they run big. I returned a pair of 9's and the 81/2 fit perfectly.

It is confi, but I need more support at the arch

I have had many pairs of Merrell Encore Breeze, but these run very narrow. I have a narrow foot but these are tight.

Dragonfly color, Merrel Encore Breeze 3. I liked the look and feel in toe box and foot bed. The arch support was just right. I normally wear a 9 because one foot is longer than the other foot just enough. So I got these in 8.5 and they were perfect. On the other hand, I have scar where the opening of the shoe is and it rubs just enough. Sad; great shoe.
