I know that Merrill a top- rated Michigan company who for years made outstandingly wonderful shoes for men & women was sold to Wolverine... a company most likely making shoes off-shore for a better margin for the owners but have lost any semblance of the Original Merrill quality, class, style & lasts... now with their NEW NIGHTMARE sizing... CAVEAT EMPTOR.... BUYER BEWARE!! what a loss.. A parody of our society... making it new & awful & thinking we don’t notice... they are the troglodytes ..

I owned the non-waterproof version of these for many years before buying the waterproof version. I still like the look, quality and grip but they are significantly smaller and narrower than my previous shoes. These are 1 size larger than my last pair and are still too narrow/short.

I have 2 pairs of regular Jungle Mocs in size 6.5 (I wear with regular socks) and 7 (wear with thicker smartwool socks). Normally I need wide width but have always been able to wear Medium with these shoes. I thought I'd try the Waterproof version and read the reviews, many said they run smaller, but one said nah, get the same size. I ordered the same size...doesn't fit! Looking at the Regular vs. Waterproof side by side, although from the outside appearance they look quite similar, there is clearly more padding inside the waterproof shoe, so it will fit smaller. Buy at least a half size up! I am exchanging for the 7 now, but I think there's a good chance it still won't fit and I'll go back to the regular Jungle Moc.

I normally wear a 9.5 and I think the 10s fit about like a 9.5 should though a bit narrow. They are a bit warmer than my older pair of regular Jungle Moc shoes. The sole is much thicker and more aggressive. The foot bed is a bit bumpy to my feet.

Too tight

Got these for my dad after an arm injury made it hard for him to tie shoes for a while. These are fantastic slip-ons that go on easy, look sharp, and are versatile in the winter!

This is my fourth pair of Merrell Jungle Moc Shoes and my fist in the Waterproof edition. Excellent fit, good width, and nice-looking. Unfortunately, Merrell Nubuck shoes' material has apparently changed. My two latest orders have show signs of premature distressing in that the leather becomes "bald" or worn down. It's rather unsightly and detracts from the appearance of the shoes. I wear them to work and for walking. I wish Merrell would return to their original material, especially since we pay a rather good price for these shoes. Again, they're a wonderful fit but age quickly.

Runs extremely small. Small width and length. At least a half size small or more. Very high bridge which for me makes the shoe even tighter.

I purchased these shoes and they held up as far as comfort and waterproof. However I was very disappointed that the material of the shoes became worn out by the hem of my pants on the upper front. I did not wear them frequently that this should happen.Please see image. The service form Zappos is the best and they were helpful in assisting me with a replacement.
