Word of caution for those with flat feet. Shoe felt comfortable at first but I noticed the midsole is narrow and cut into the part of my foot where the arch is supposed to be. I will be returning these shoes. Other things to note: More stylish than I expected them to be and they seem to run about 1/2 size large.

What can I say? They're Merrells. This is my 3rd or 4th pair of Merrells and they are basically the only shoe I'll buy. They're super comfortable and durable to boot. Can't get enough!

These are incredibly light yet feel super durable and rugged. That's a hard combo to achieve. They are comfortable and look great too. Haven't tried running in them but they'd make great light hikers.

These Merrells are great! They are deep enough to use orthotics, lightweight with a great supportive sole. Best shoes I've had in a long time! I have the black/silver as well as the grey/orange.

Love these shoes so far, a little narrower than my other Merrell but not bad. Great support, great style! Excellent, would buy again!

I got these shoes for everyday wear, biking, light hiking. The fit was pretty good except for the lacing area which was a bit tight. However, I do have high arches which causes this problem. My main concern was the styling. I liked the color combination but thought the checkerboard pattern in the front was a bit busy. I am in my 60's and not looking for the young, wild colors. I did order the same shoe in black/silver where the pattern isn't nearly as noticeable.

Really great hiking shoes and look good in general!

Bought for my dad, loves the. Never seen him wear a pair of shoes for as long as he has! I think they're a hit!

My favorite shoes ever. This is my second pair. They look great, have very good ventilation, and are comfortable.

My husband absolutely loves these shoes. They have the look of a sneaker type shoe, but are just a bit sharper looking. Perfect for dressing up or down! Very comfortable & my husband can see himself wearing them for a long time.

Style is a matter of opinion. An I like them. Light and comfortable with sturdy sole. If you own Merrell's, order same size. Fit perfect. Next day delivery was a plus!

The best shoe I've worn for trekking around rough, rocky, uneven terrain. Helps support a big body guy navigating over rocks big and small. Will def. Pick Merrell when the next time comes.

Very comfortable shoes. I got these before a trip to Italy and used them as my day shoes walking around the city streets as well as cobble stone paths. The shoes are amazing! They are well-padded and have good grip. Look great too!

Great look and color combination. I am a big fan of Merrells and own quite a few pair. I am a true 7 and these are a half size too big.

So here we are. As expected Merrell stays with quality, support and comfort. Talking about the real thing: the size. So far I am a Nike 11, Vans 11½, sandals 11. (All half a size bigger). I am not really a "flat" foot, but not slim either. I think I could go with a 10½ on this one as well, because it is a "heavy" half bigger than I am used too, but it is ok for me. With the 10½ you might gonna risk the shoe be too tight in the width. Even though it is very roomy in the toe box. Overall a high recommendable shoe for any in and out door activity.

This is my second pare of Merrells and I've been super pleased with both. This shoe is has a very light feeling overall, but it's rugged and stays on my feet just fine. The shoe breathes fantastically and is more confortable then expected. I really didn't notice until I got them was that the lacing is separated much further apart then most. I actually liked this, it made taking the shoe on and off much easier and the tightness was much more even across the foot. I've only had these for a few weeks so I can't comment on longevity, but I would defiantly recommend them.

Just went hiking on a 3 3/4 mile hike up and down mountains. These sneakers are very comfortable and have great grip on rocks, etc. They are fairly light weight also.

These are my new favorite shoes for a number of reasons. They are very comfortable. They are lightweight and keep my feet cool. They have a removable insert that I swap out for Superfeet Green because of plantar fasciitis. Doing so has made a huge difference and allowed my foot to heal almost completely. They are durable. Maybe a couple of the other reviewers got shoes from a bad batch but I wore my first pair exclusively and everywhere. I wore them to work, chaperoning a multi-day high school band trip (12,000-15,000 steps daily according to my FitBit), walking around Manhattan for several days (and attending a rock concert while there). Even though that pair is still going strong I ordered a second pair just to change up the colors. They clean up well. When these shoes get dirty I take out the inserts and clean the shoes under running water in the sink. Easy peasy! As long as Merrell makes these shoes I will keep buying them. Though the ones I have are holding up great so it may be a while until I need to retire a pair.

I needed to replace an old pair of Chameleon 1s that are probably one step away from disintegrating. Like many people in reviews I read, I feel the Chameleon has gotten a little bulky, and lost the slim profile it had in the original. My Chameleons were a gold/yellow color, and I wanted my new shoes to retain some vibrant color. I ordered the Grassbow in the blue/black, and they're perfect! Size is spot on, comfortable out of the box, and really complement a pair of khaki cargo shorts. One other thing I love is that the laces are nicely sized. Many laces are so long that they nearly drag the ground after you knot them. These are nice and tidy - just enough length for the regular bow, and have the same black with electric blue stitching as the shoe itself. Great looking, and great fitting.

A perfect pair of shoes are the ones that you put on and are so comfortable,you don't even feel them... that is how these shoes fit.

I'm wearing the Merrells as I am writing this review. I'm a doctor and I'm on my feet all day. I've had the shoes for about a month and I can tell you that they are one of the most comfortable and supportive shoes I own. I haven't had a chance to try them out hiking but I've used them to cross training and they've felt great!

Initially I bought this shoe as a comfortable shoe for traveling: something in which I could workout, hike, wear in public, bike, etc. It works great for that, but then we got a dog, so then I needed something for trail jogging/walking her. This works great for that too. Very comfortable, great grip on off camber stuff. Note that the shoe color was slightly duller than what is shown here, and has a little more pop than on the Merrell site. They look really sharp. I usually wear a 10.5, so I ordered that and a 10, and went with the latter. Probably could have gotten away with a 9.5, but I like a little bit more width/room. I would buy this shoe again, though if I do keep jogging, I'd likely go with something that has a bit more cushion just for my crappy knees.

These are one of the best shoes I have ever owned. They are supple from day one, they grip excellently and they have great cushioning for hiking with a pack or simply walking.
