I believe that if you don't immediately appreciate the comfort, timeless line, and classic style of this shoe then you shouldn't be wearing heels. The majority of my closet is lined with stacks upon stacks of Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin and Valentino. When I saw these I balked at the price because I don't usually trust anything that doesn't retail for under $650, but after my representative at Nordstrom suggested I try them on one night on a whim I know I will be buying these in every color and every variation in which they can be found. I do have wider feet that are flat but this shoe was immediately comfortable and ranks right up there in its classic look with the CL Decollete 554, the JC Abel pump and the Manolo BB stiletto. Unbelievable shoe at an unbelievable price. To the true designer enthusiast, if you don't at least try a pair of these on, you're depriving yourself of a great look.

I'm positively obsessed with these classic beauties and what I love most of all is the fact that they were available in wide widths. I have feet that are not wide but slightly wider then the normal. I knew this style pump would naturally be narrow and while they still felt a bit snug upon trying them on, I'm hopeful they'll "give" a little over time. But my goodness, I truly believe that these are the next best thing to the CL SK (that is if it's the style that matters most to you and not a red bottom) I mean, let's face it not everyone has the feet for loubs. I personally believe that these give you that same look and with w width as an option, why opt for more comfort and at $300 less you can't beat it! I purchased the aniline color and I have so many things I plan to do with them this spring and summer. I live near the SW store here in Michigan and this color/size/width combo is never available in store but it was on Zappos! I had a small issue with my initial pair having a defect but Zappos took care of that promptly and made sure I was satisfied. I had my new pair the next day. I love you Zappos!!

I wanted a classic pump that was not a) patent leather and b) suede. The choices were this shoe, the Manolo Blahnik BB Pump (more expensive) and the Louboutin Decollete (Sold Out). So I went with this one. Today was the first day I wore them and they felt a little stiff. The left one felt a little large and the shoe squeaked. As the day wore on, however, the shoes seem to soften a bit and the sound is all but gone. I was thinking of returning them but they are very comfortable and look amazing, so they're staying with me. The heel looks super high but the pitch is not as pronounced as the CL Decolette. The heel is also a bit thicker than the Manolo BB so it offers more support. They are ideal for work but I will also rock them with skinny black jeans. Size: I always wear an 8 Medium in US-sized shoes and these are an 8M. (One more thing, it seems SW also makes Coach shoes and Coach has a similar pair out right now for quite a bit less money.) All in all a classic, sharp-looking black pump.

Great black heel - the pattern makes it dressy without the shine that comes from patent leather. Looks beautiful on, I received several compliments on these shoes!

I LOVE these shoes BUT sadly the 8.5 were too small (which is odd bc that is the size I wear in all my shoes). I NEEDed them for an event and didn't have enough time to do an exchange. So, I ended up shoving my feet into them anyway and feeling like Cinderella's Step Sisters for the entire night. I will be purchasing a larger size.

Love Stuart Weitzman pumps. I have worn them for many years. I am a high heel girl! Fits true to size. He has several high heel styles - I wear the Nouveau and platform pump Mae. You can't go wrong in a Stuart Weitzman!

I love these heels so so much. They're sexy and comfy. But the reviews led me astray. I anticipated the heels running small, but I still purchased my regular size at 7.5 Surprisingly, the heels actually ran big on me. So I exchanged the 7.5 for a size 7 and they fit perfectly. My only complaint is that I have a lot of toe cleavage - more than I've ever had before in any pair of shoes.

Gorgeous shoe and extremely comfortable for the height. Bought three pairs, adobe analine, raspberry analine and black kid. All ordered in 1/2 a size smaller and they fit perfectly. Only one issue, the heel on my raspberry pair snapped off. It must be defective considering the other two pairs are fine. But worth mentioning considering the cost of the shoe. I will be contacting both Zappos and Stuart Weitzman to see if someone is willing to accommodate getting it fixed. Unfortunately the raspberry color is now sold out and can't just be replaced. But I would buy again, overall shoe is exceptional.

I bought it in black patent for one specific outfit, which needed black patent heels. So instead of wearing them with that latex dress I bought them for, I am finding myself last night at Nordstrom browsing in my 4" heels. I never go out shopping in stilettos, but those are very pretty and so classic. They even go with a pair of designer jeans. Usually I am trying to stay clear of pointed shoes, since I am a size 12 and they make my feet look even longer. Screw that from now on - those are hot. Ladies get them while you can. I just ordered the raspberry colored ones, too.

Gorgeous shoe! Wore them out of the box to a Bat Mitzvah and danced for hours. Elegant and just the right height. A classic!

Shoes look beautiful on. Classic style. I purchased the black patent-planning on year round use. I normally wear a 6 1/2 but went with a 6. I have a narrow heel but my foot is otherwise a medium and I found these shoes to be comfortable with the first wear. I purchased these to replace a pair of pointed toe Stuart's that I wore out. If these are like my prior pair, they mold to your feet and become even more comfortable over time. I find this brand to be excellent quality and expect to get years of use out of these beauties!

My foot is slightly wide, ideally a C width, which is incredibly difficult to find. I ordered these in my normal size 10, C width. I still had to stretch them considerably in width to make them fit. Thankfully two rounds with a steamer, followed immediately each time with drying with a Foot Fitter stretcher inserted did the trick. They fit more like a Barely-B width before my extra efforts. I adore the style and quality, tho.

Great looking shoe. Just ran a little narrow in the toe bed. Thought about having it stretched out but for this price they need to fit perfectly. Hope you get some wides!

Disappointed. Vamp of this shoe is very, very low. Shows complete toe cleavage on all toes. Too bad because it's otherwise a very classic, lovely shoe.

These are gorgeous pumps but look awful on your feet. The toe area is so extremely pointy and points out so far that there is a tremendous amount of space left between your toe and the tip of the show. I ordered my regular size and I had to cram my foot in to what felt like torture devices. And I felt like a witch with such pointy toes. Felt silly and uncomfortable-had to return.

This is a gorgeous shoe! I ordered in my normal size, I could put it on my foot, but it didn't 'fit'. I can't go up to the next half size because the heel is already too loose for me to do that. I have a narrow heel in proportion to the front of my foot.

I received these from Zappos in the Topo suede and immediately took them to Europe. Upon the first wearing they were unbelievably comfortable. These shoes are beautiful and comfortable - this almost never happens! Highly recommended!

Okay, everyone needs a basic black pump. Why the "Nouveau"? It's Stuart Weitzman (SW) that's why. Classic lines, perfect heel height for work, evenings or casually with jeans. The leather kid is butter soft so it's very comfortable for a 4 inch heel. I can wear these all day without a problem. I own dozens of heels and have to say that SW offers the best value for a classic, designer pump. Hopefully they will continue to carry the "Nouveau" in my size for fall! Zappos was great as always.

The photos on the website hardly do any justice to these absolutely gorgeous and very stylish shoes. Ordered them in beige and keep receiving compliments every time I wear them. They do run true to size and even though the heels are high, they give very good support and are comfortable to walk in. I knew the shoes were a keeper the moment I stepped into them.

I purchased these shoes last year and I had to go down a half size. I have a narrow heel and narrow to medium width feet. I normally get a narrow in the Platswoons, but because of Nouveau's pointed toe I thought my regular size would fit. I tried them in the store and they were slightly bigger and slip a little. I knew that they would stretch slightly (as did my Platswoons) so I decided to go for a the slightly tighter fit. I purchased these shoes in 4 colors; black patent, adobe aniline, black goosebump napa, and the black and white net pattern. I was hoping I would hate half of them so I could return them, but I didn't. They make your legs look super long, your feet look tiny, and they are actually pretty comfortable for being 4". I don't think I could stand in them all day long, but as I work in an office environment where I can sit, these are perfect. They will go with everything I have and I can't wait to wear them! I love SW!

Stuart Weitzman rarely disappoints. These are the most comfortable heels ever. They go with everything and for the price, you can't find anything better!

This shoe is beautiful! I ordered a 1/2 size down from my normal like many of the other reviewers suggested. FIT LIKE A GLOVE. The only real issue is that my right foot is a tad bit bigger than my left, so my toes do feel a bit jammed. I expect that with some breaking in, this problem will be resolved. The rest of this review is to once again commend the amazing customer service I continually receive from Zappos. These shoes are a little pricey so when I got them I did a full on inspection. I saw a few scuffs here and there and decided to exchange this one for a newer one. I called and without any hesitation the customer service rep sincerely apologized and ordered one right out to me. In addition, he gave me a coupon for me to use on any future order. Seriously did not expect that much. To all my fellow Zapponians, please test drive your shoes on CARPET or hardwood in your HOUSE! :)
