I wear this for Pilates (reformer and mat) , yoga and general gym training. I am a 5'7" pear shaped size 8-10 and the medium is the right fit (it is a bit tighter than the black version of this garment). The core emphasis works for me, reminding me to maintain my form. It is heavier weight and I would not wear it outside if the weather is warm and muggy.

LOVE the perfect core pants/capris. I am in pretty good shape but I have had three kids and I hate it when pants roll down or slide down in the front when you are bending and turning. These pants are very high waisted (slightly above the belly button) and are pretty tight in the waist which I LOVE. They NEVER roll down and give me the smoothest shape in the middle - no upper belly bulge or low back bulge. My tops look so smooth and every time I wear these pants, I get so many compliments, "I can't believe you have three kids!" I'm like, its really just the pants! I think they are pretty comfortable - they do fit snug but they don't cut into your waist.

Love these. Thick, quality material. Feel well made and solid. The material is semi-heavy and I won't like for summer work-outs, but for cool weather and just to wear around they are awesome! I am athletic build, 5''9" 165#s and Medium fits well!

I absolutely love these capris - so much so that I ordered a second pair after I received my original order. The waist band is fantastic for yoga inversions - keeping you covered and tucked in. The material is fairly thick - so I am not sure that they would be great in hot weather, but they are perfect now!

The perfect core Capri is aptly named, they are the perfect fit and wonderfully comfortable. Excellent quality. I love the higher rise. I would definitely recommend this product.

I usually wear either a 6 or an 8. I went with the medium on this. A small would have worked, but I have learned from past experience that the more the material stretches the more likely it is to be see through. These are not see through. They are very soft and stretchy, almost cottony feeling. The compression is all in the wide waistband, which keeps the tights from sliding down. The print is stylish, but subtle, and coordinates with all of my solid color tops. I have worn these for yoga and Zumba so far, with no visible sweat patches showing. I hope to try them for boot camp tomorrow - I think they should work.

Perfect is right! I love these capris. I am about 5'7" and 140 pounds and the size medium fit perfectly. I normally wear workout capris from Athleta. I love the fact that these have a higher waist.

Love the higher waist, keeps the tummy in tact. I am currently deciding between the small and medium. I am 5'4" 127 lbs age 55 and workout at the gym.

This is an instance of "you get what you pay for". These leggings are just a little longer than most capris, and the rise in the back is just a little higher. The fabric is also fabulous, which means stretch, but makes them easier to pull on. All of those things make them my new favorites.

These are great fitting and well made - maybe the best yoga / exercise pant I have ever purchased. I am 5'4" and weigh 117 lbs and the small fits perfectly. They wash well too!

These are great leggings. The waistband rises higher so they are more comfortable. They wear like iron. This is my second pair, in a different color. The amount of compression is perfect too. I use them for spinning and know they are the best!

Hands down a 5 star review. Yes, they are a little on the expensive side compared to others, but they're worth every penny. Ultra slimming, very figure flattering, and they're the perfect weight fabric -- not too thin/see-through, not too thick to restrict your movement -- I loved them so much I bought several pairs, even at this price! The higher rise is fabulous and they have the perfect amount of compression around the mid-section to hold everything in without being uncomfortable. Don't slip, ride, pinch, or poke anywhere. Run true to size - I bought the small in the black and I'm 5'6", 140 lbs. However, I should state that I preferred the medium in the asphalt (dark gray) and heather black -- just a little different fabric and the medium fit better in those colors. These have become my favorite go-to workout leggings. You will absolutely love these capri leggings!

These are wonderful capris. However, I am returning them because they run large. I ordered a large (I am a size 12-14) and they are too big to wear for compression capris. I ordered them for HIIT and yoga, and they do not fit snug enough for those purposes. However, if you are looking for a general purpose everyday or workout capri, these are great. They come up high enough so that they do not create a muffin, and they are very comfortable. I am thinking about repurchasing in a size medium.

When first taking the capris from the shipping box, I got the impression they'd been put through a miniaturization machine. Sure enough, I could barely get them past my knees. I'm 5'4, 115 lbs and normally a small in everything. These were a small but fit more like an XXS. They're made beautifully and seemed worth another shot, so I've reordered in the medium. I typically don't like "support" materials because they're way too hard to get on and off but I like the rise and the color of these and will try again.

I was looking for a pair of compression capris to replace my beloved pair of Spanx compression crop pants that I left behind while traveling. I tried to order a new pair of the Spanx crop, but discovered that they have discontinued them in plain black, and so started looking for an alternative and ordered these based on the positive reviews. The Spanx pair really held everything in and were super flattering. At the price, I had high hopes that this Lucy pair would do the same. The style was cute, but the compression offered was no comparison, and the Lucy Perfect Core Capri was not nearly as flattering. (I am 5'5" and 143 lbs.) Upon further research I discovered that the Spanx compression activewear contains 40% Spandex. The Lucy Perfect Core pair are only 13% Spandex. Need I say more? Returning these and ordering the Spanx pair with color accents instead. Will write to Spanx and beg them to bring back plain black in the best activewear legging I have ever owned! Lucy, if you're listening: I love your workout tees! Introduce a capri with 40% Spandex or more and I'll be your devoted customer.

LOVE THIS STYLE! I have these in tons of colors and lengths...LOVE the perfect core style! I typically buy from the Lucy site...never had a problem. But they were out of black in my size, so I ordered from Zappos. I got them today, opened the box, pulled them out.....and....they were USED. Not cool. This is the second time in a year that I have received used merchandise from Zappos. Ugh. Not the fault of the pants...they rick! But I wish that Zappos would be a little more cognizant about quality assurance and putting returns back into the cycle for new orders. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE ZAPPOS!!! Just bad luck on this order. Oh well!

These ripped a huge hole in the back (on the seam over the butt!) after only 2 times of wearing them to yoga. I washed them on gentle and hung them dry. I am just extremely lucky that it happened getting into my car on the way home and not in the middle of class. I would have been devastated had this happened in class, just thinking about it makes me ill. For the price, there is no way this should be an issue with these pants. Also, the gusset is really small and wasn't great for providing coverage, if you know what I mean. Horrible!
