Beautiful Boot Loved it until my feet started hurting more my toes if anything they were touching the front. I'm a 12 this boot felt like more like an 11.5 11. I would of gone with a 13 but they didn't have anything in stock. Good boot runs small.

Boots fit and feel great!! Much needed as for mine were very much in need of retirement. Thank you for the speedy delivery and the great quality!

They are very comfortable, I would recommend wearing thick socks wile breaking them in. There is a hard spot on the heal, in the inside.

Great quality and design, excellent looks. Boots run wider than expected; I ordered medium width and my foot was moving to much in them, causing foot fatigue within the first 4 hours of wearing them. Also, the 6" height booty did not give much hug to my ankle making my heel slide inside the boot. I believe if I had try one size smaller, then possibly the boots will be right for me. I decide to exchange them for a taller boot, to add more material to hug my ankle, therefore keep my heel in place and the arch supported.

This is an excellent boot. First off, I'm a big guy and I destroy all clothing and boots. Having said that, let's get down to it.. GOOD 1. Composite Toe very light vs Steel. 2. The removable insole.is the THICKEST most cushy I've EVER seen in ANY shoe including running shoes. 3. Reflective piping sewn into the boot 4. Very supportive on the ankles 5. The anti-roll heel feature 6.. The ability to use the top 3 hooks as either hooks Or you can actually pass the laces through the hole that's part of the hook. BAD (I'm being picky here) 1. Had to spend $3 and get a good pair of waxed 72" laces because one of them broke. (may have been defective) 2. Because I wear the wide size, these already chunky boots are occasionally catching both brake and has pedals at the same time. As long as you are conscious of this its not an issue. Just took getting used to. Overall, EXCELLENT boot and highly recommended!

Bought these for my very picky husband. We've been through similar styles of Keens and Timberlands but these have definitely proven his favorite. Fit was good. Did complain that they felt the heaviest of the three. These boots aren't necessarily attractive to look at but they do their job. Thus far these have held up the best of any recent work boots.

Don't be surprised if they seem too big at first. After a day of walking in them, I was able to lace them up snugly to my feet. They are still stiff and a little heavy but after two weeks they seem to have broken in nicely and are very comfortable for walking and standing all day.

While the shoes are well made and look good, the composite toe seems to crowd a little bit. To be perfectly honest, these shoes are just like any other work shoe I have purchased and worn in the past. Have not been able to wear them for a full week at a time yet -- had to go back to my Ariats for about 2-3 days each week. They do seem well made, but they are not really that light -- they seem comparable in weight to my other work boots which are steel toe.

I could not recommend any particular brand--once again that is a matter of personal preference, comfort and what a person likes.

These boots were great....for about 4 months. Then the backstay began to separate from the foxing. After four months, the boots were unwearable and potentially dangerous. Wasn't aware of any guarantee until today. Certainly won't buy them again, but they were the most comfortable boots I've owned. Sure wish they'd fix that one engineering faux pas.

It appears that these boots are very well made but they are just too massive for my skinny legs and I have to wear shorts at work in the summer months. My wife says I look like Bozo the clown with these boots on.

My husband loves these boots but there’s a reason he only rates them 3 stars. He bought his first pair and loved them. Loved the fit more than any other work boot he had ever owned. We had finally hit the steel toed jackpot! He is a delivery driver so has zero exposure to any harsh components in his boots. Unfortunately, after 3 1/2 months of 5 days a week wear, the sole of the boot began to fall apart. As in chunks of the lugs were separating and falling off. We assumed it to be a fluke and contacted Zappos as the brand offers a full year warranty. Zappos quickly and easily offered us a new pair in exchange. New pair arrives and again, husband is happy. This time his happiness only lasted 4 months. Same issue! Zappos customer service was amazing and offered us a refund and even though he loved the fit of these boots he was forced to find new. Great fitting boot. Great customer service. Some weird issue with durability.

These are the worst pair of boots I have worn so far. I work construction, they are uncomfortable and do not hold up when working on grating.

Guys - a wonderful boot overall: I truly dig 'em. But they have one glaring soft spot. The soft rubber ring encircling the sole just beneath the stitches gets torn-up almost immediately in real-work situations. It needs to go - like yesterday! Get it gone.

Zappos needs to tell us where the boots are made, not just say imported. These $200 boots are made in China! Definitely not worth it.

Had them for 1 day they felt too clunky not good for long periods of walking. I walk about 20,000 steps daily and these started to hurt after 5000 steps would not recommend unless you want severe foot problems. If your looking for an actual good boot buy the Carhartt Ground Force 6" Waterproof Comp Toe

The right boot was comfortable, the left toe box felt too small and lacking cushion at the top where composite and leather are stitched together. Returned unfortunately as I really liked the look and comfort.

I've been a Wolverine Durashock buyer since they came out. A buddy at work recommended I give thorogood a try. Made in the USA ??, and very sharp stylish boots. They arrived and I was very impressed with the look. From the minute I tried them on, they just feel terrible. I tried them for 5 days, 12hrs, on concrete. I had massive blisters on the back of my ankle, and under each toe. I've wore work boots for years, and I've never experienced this much discomfort from a shoe of any kind. I woukd think a wooden shoe would be more comfortable. As a proud American that wanted to buy thorogoods, I cannot in anyway recommended these boots, unless you just want to put them on a shelf and look at them. They are nice to look at, but absolutely the worst thing I've ever put on my feet. Zappos easily swapped out these for my good ol' trusty wolverine legend durashocks, and once again I'm very happy and comfy in them, and quesrioning why I even tried anything else.

These are painful to wear. Too narrow at the toes and the tongue stitching hurt the top of my feet, right at the pinnacle of the arch.

Disappointed again. Ever since we have been required to purchase our work shoes through Zappos (Amazon),in order to be reimbursed, I have been disappointed. I have ordered five and returned four pair. The last one I thought was good so, I wore them from home to work. After about 4 hours my feet suddenly felt like i had been walking barefoot on concrete with a 6o lb pack on my back. No thanks. If I can return them I will. Or just donate them to the needy. I should have never stopped going to the brick and mortar store to get my shoes. I know I will never order another pair of shoes online. Good luck to everyone else. My feet are too important.

They fit nice, comfortable to wear. The issue I have is they are suppose to be waterproof and they are not. Stepped in water up to where the laces start and my feet got wet. Very disappointed.

After just 4 months of wearing these, they have become extraordinarily uncomfortable in the balls of my foot area. I have tried several different insoles and inserts at my expense with no luck, these boots just wore out. I wear my work boots for 10 hours a day Monday through Saturday, so yes, they got some use, but really, 4 months? I have a bad pronation, and I know this, which is why I try to wear boots!
