Beautiful well-made sweater. Ordered a large based on reviews, even though he wears an XL in some shirts. No complaints. Looks great on.

I love Dale of Norway sweaters. I own three of them and they all fit a bit differently. I’m 62, 5’10”, weigh 190 lbs and still athletic and active. I wear an XL in most sweaters. For this brand I’m right in between L and an XL. SO, I always order an XL. They’re a good fit except the arms which are ridiculously long. I’ve developed several ways of folding the arms to compensate. I love these sweaters enough to deal with this problem. However, they are expensive so this is something to consider before purchasing. Zappos is definitely the place to purchase these sweaters from since they are so easy to deal with on returns or even ordering several of different sizes and return the size(s) that don’t work for you. These sweaters are amazing though and their high quality is evident. I can go outside in Northern Utah when the temperature is in the teens and these sweaters keep me warm. I can also wear them inside when the temperature is 70 degrees and they don’t make me hot.

I recently purchased the Moritz hat from Zappos and was so impressed with the quality, look and feel that I decided to add the Moritz sweater. For reference, I am 5’11” tall, weigh 175 with a 35” waist and 40-41” chest so I ordered a large. If you are looking for an athletic tight fit a medium might be preferable, but the large feels just right to me and allows room for a bit of layering. I needed to turn up the sleeves for my 34” arms but otherwise I’m extremely pleased. Some might consider the price to be a bit high but the quality is unbelievable and well worth it. Highly recommended!

Bought this sweater as a present for husband last year. He loves it because it's so warm and the stunning color is wonderful on a gray, cold day. He was genuinely distressed when our cat snagged a claw in it and pulled a thread but I assured him it could be fixed in a jiffy (which I did). I have purchased other Dale of Norway sweaters in the past for him-- these sweaters are pricey but last YEARS and are worth their cost. They are the Pendleton wool shirt of sweaters and have no equal that I have found-- even at a higher price point. Follow the care instructions and it will continue to reward their owner with warmth and good looks.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. Zappos didn't quite manage to get it in time as promised, but I guess if you leave things to the last minute. As for the sweater, you just can't beat Dale for quality. It looks good now and it will look good in 10 years. Expensive but well worth the money! My husband loves it!
