I like the universality of this shoe. I actually bought this as a golf shoe, but figure I can also cruise the terra in it. Don't let the color name "Red Alert" fool you. This shoe is really orange, but that worked out for me because that is the color of my golf team uniform. It's also really comfortable and true to size.

These shoes were the winner in my quest to find the perfect casual walking shoes for my upcoming trip to Italy and France. They fit well, are lightweight and extremely comfortable. I'm sure I will put plenty of miles on my new Mephisto sandals, as well, but I wanted a sneaker to take along, as well, in case one pair rubs the wrong way and I need to switch. These Ecco Sports are not quite as stylish as the Ecco Summer Sneaker in black, but they've got some flair to them. I ordered the gray with the turquoise laces (which really "pop"!). The color of the fabric on the shoe look more like a mossy green to me (as they did in the video), or at least has a hint of green in it. These Sports are a bit wider and roomier than the Summer Sneaker and have a much more substantial sole, without adding much weight to the shoe. I'm looking forward to trekking around in them.

These are very nice shoes, however they ran just a bit narrow, and could BARELY be called a size 10, let alone a 10.5. If you're on the smaller side of size 10, these will probably fit fine.

I bought a pair of these over a year ago. They were great. There is one problem I had but it may be an isolated issue but I would like some help. The soles began to peel of and I would like to see if the company could repair. Looks like the Glue has given away. I have had ECCO before. I am not hard on shoes and many have lasted years.

This is a very attractive and lightweight shoe. I need a shoe with a bit more support for hiking, but I think it would be a good shoe for light walking.

The she's are extremely comfortable with good arch support, which is important to me. I did have a problem with the lace ends breaking off one shoe after wearing them a couple times, but I have just tied them together to fix it. Not the best fix, but it works. It was probably just one pair of shoes with a flaw.

The Ecco sizes are always MUCH larger than advertised. I chose a 35, knowing it would probably be equivalent to a US women's 5-5.5 and not a 4-4.5, as indicated on Zappos. This shoe was actually more like a 5.5-6. It's nicely constructed and well-vented, with a clean, uncluttered design and decent arch support, but has too much of a low profile, barefoot-feeling sole for anyone who needs a little cushioning underfoot. The silver/grey color is a lot lighter in person than in the photo: more silver than grey. The sole color - as with too many sneakers these days - is blazing white, and not light grey as it appears in the photo (which I would have preferred). They have an Italian name, but they are Imported.

Thought I'd be able to get away with a medium based on some of the reviews and because I'm able to do that with some other brands. Not Merrell though. They were both too narrow and didn't accommodate my high instep either so back they went. Cute style though.

I started with a 38 (7-7.5) in these. I have worn a 7D in New Balance walking shoes forever, which accommodates my foot spread when I walk. I have walked for over 38 years for exercise, usually about 3-4 miles a day at a pretty good clip, and my toes used to go to sleep until I went to the wider width. (I wear a 6.5M dress shoe.) Knowing my issues, I ordered the 38s, but the toe length was too long (obviously a 7.5), and my foot slipped around inside. Even with thick socks I don't think the fit would be good for walking. So I returned them for a 37, which were a good fit for a dress shoe, but would not work for a walking shoe, so they are going back. I have Ecco sandals which I love, and they have given my foot a break from the pain I have from plantar fasciitis, so I will keep searching for a good athletic Ecco brand, since these aren't going to work.
