I have searched the internet and bought several pairs of leggings and only found one company's leggings that fit me well and they have since gone out of business. I recently bought 2 pairs from the Slim and Tone website and they were awful. I'm 5'6" and weigh 165 (36-30-40) and wear a size 10. They were short not only at the ankle but in the rear as well and hard to pull up and down. I never wanted to spend $60 on leggings like those from Spanx and even this was pricey for me. But if you like a long leg and a waist to come up above the belly button - you will love these leggings. They aren't hard to pull up but hug the body. They are flattering and comfortable. Also got them in a day. Worth the money!

It's not easy to find leggings that are both thick (not see-through) and tight enough at the waist to stay up without creating the dreaded "muffin top." These do the trick! There are some seams at the waist that show through tighter sweater dresses and shirts, but otherwise this is a great pair of leggings.

I wish I could give this 4.5 stars because the only thing that is weird is the seam like the other reviewer mentioned. It kind of has a little ridge that sticks out. No problem if you're wearing something that covers it, but it would be better if it wasn't such a heavy seam. These are great in that they really hold you in -- very thick, tough, and stretchy fabric. Great to rein in a big, jiggly dimpled booty like mine.

These were not what I was hoping for. I am a size 10 and ordered medium, which fit well. The fabric is nice and thick, and the rise is high. Other than the high waist these leggings are not very slimming. The shapewear-type lining is only in the waist band, so while the waistband is wide, it's not wide enough to cover the lower belly pooch. Also, the seam where the waistband meets the pants sticks out oddly. These leggings are also not quite tight enough around the ankles. I will be returning these.

Love these! Thought the were a little expensive, but I'm glad a bought them. They fit like a glove and make me look super skinny. I'm a size 10. So I bought the Medium, it looked small when I opened the package, but once I got them on, they looked great. Worth the money!

Very shaping, and lots of tummy support. They hold it all in really well. Plus they are high waited so that also helps. They run a little small but that is good because they don't lose the tightness.

Love these! Material is thick resulting in no transparency. the waist is slimming, yet comfortable. I am 5"3 with short legs and do not have any issues with the length.

This is probably the best legging out on the market today. I have a drawer full of very expensive name brand leggings but when it comes time to getting dressed, it seems that these are my absolute favorite. They're long enough, dense enough, warm enough and they have a very long shelf-life! One thing I cannot tolerate is fading or pilling. These beauties are made with rayon, nylon and spandex. No cotton! (Yay!) Cotton is what kills leggings. Cotton fades and pills and causes your leggings to die an early death. If you do get these, all you have to do is wash them in cold water only. No dryer. Never, ever, ever put rayon in the dryer. These have rayon. Hang 'em up to dry. And enjoy these leggings for a long, long time. I just wish they came in a deep, neutral navy color and a dark chocolate color. But in the meantime, handy-dandy black works just fine for me.

I was looking for nice thick legging that comes up above waist line, stays up, doesn't bag at the knee, doesn't catch every bit of lint within a 10-mile radius -- and of course, that looks good on an older gal whose shape, shall we say, is in transition. I'm 5'5 and weigh 150 lb. (with much of that weight in my hefty calves and thighs) and I take a size 10 in pants. I'm also short-waisted. I tend to want to order things like leggings in a large because of my legs, but when I do I generally find that they end up slipping down just a bit and aren't quite as tight as I think they should be. I found the same to be true with these leggings. I purchased both the large and the medium, and while the large is easier getting on and appears to fit well initially, it falls down just a tad and wrinkles a bit at the knee after I've had them on for a while. The medium is harder getting on and feels too tight at first, but is actually a better fit if you want something that really does fit like a glove. I'm keeping both sizes because they really are nice leggings and I love the fabric. The large is just fine, and I seriously doubt that anyone who sees me in them will say to themselves or to anyone in proximity, "Oh, look at that woman wearing the baggy leggings." I'll wear the mediums when I really want that glove-like look and feel. The large does have a little extra room around the ankle, but I'll be wearing these with boots or booties, so that doesn't make a difference to me. Overall, a great legging.

I am new to wearing leggings and ordered these from Zappos because of their good customer service, but I am totally happy with these. They fit true to size. I typically wear a large or 14 in most clothes and the large fit perfectly. There is a little bunching at the ankle but I am happy with that look and will probably wear them with boots so no big problem. They are heavy enough fabric that I don't have to worry. Great buy!

The only reason I gave these leggings only 4 stars is that they almost immediately had a small hole in the crotch. But otherwise they are so perfect that I fixed the hole and am back buying another pair, assuming that the hole was just a freak thing (I hope!). I love these because they are very thick, slimming in the tummy and look like they cost MUCH more than they did. They have become my staple - that's why I'm buying another pair! I wish they had other colors!

I purchased one pair of these leggings and loved how they are a thicker material yet fit like a second skin. I ordered what I thought was two more pairs and was surprised when they came because they were so see through. It turns out that I ordered "tummy control" not "shaping legging" - they are totally different. I returned the tummy control ones and ordered two more pairs of the shaping legging. They have become a staple in my wardrobe.

I didn't get a chance to wear these-when they arrived they had a hole in the seam at the waist. I liked them... heavy material, definitely will put everything where it needs to be. Order UP. I am a size 12 and ordered a L (stated 12-14) and they were snug (before I noticed the hole.)
