We ordered the medium for our son who wears a size 1 shoe. These socks would fit me, and I wear a women's 9! I'll be giving them to my older son. I recommend ordering down, at least if your child is in the range of a 12-3. (The package even said something about fitting shoe size 8-9, so the labeling is contradictory.)

These socks make our school mornings a little more bearable! I have been searching for tall seamless socks for my extremely picky 5 year old, and these are perfect!! The seams always bug him, and he always wants to pull his socks up to his knees, and these socks solve both issues. They are very expensive however! Others have complained that sizing is way off, but I think it is important to check out the size chart, as we got exactly what we ordered. It's confusing as they have children and adult sizes all together

What happened to these socks?? Jefferies has CHANGED THE MATERIAL -- they're no longer the soft, cushy material they were the last time I ordered them. The material is thinner on top especially, somewhat thinner on the half cushion bottom, and the socks are WAY longer than before. The ribbed top part is a good 4" longer than previously, and although my older ones likely shrank some in the wash (a good thing for me), they didn't shrink THAT much. The foot part is also about 1" longer. I should mention that I'm an adult female, size 8.5-9 foot. I don't like floppy socks, so I buy boys' socks in order to fit my feet properly. The previous Jefferies were PERFECT...these are not only too big and too thin, they just feel awful. I have Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), which is why I searched for socks without seams. I know the second I put something on whether it will work for me or not -- if it's at all scratchy, slippery (on my foot, in this case), or funky-feeling in any way, I know it's a NO. These socks used to be cushiony athletic-style socks. Now they feel like dress socks, which my feet don't tolerate. If you or your child like thin dress socks with a bit of cushion, you'll probably like these. They are indeed seamless, so that's a plus. I just can't bear the material. :( I'm uploading pics to demonstrate the difference in size and thickness, though it's difficult to pick up details with black socks ( these were taken with my iPhone 6). Note in the one where I'm wearing the socks that you can see through the sock on my right foot (new sock), while the one on my left foot is opaque (thicker, older sock). Also, I should note that my husband could easily wear the new ones, and he wears a size 9.5 mens shoe.

I paid $24.00 dollars for 6 pairs of socks that I thought were quality, that turned out to be average at best. You can see the ends of your toes through them. These socks typically would be found at Target or another store in the package of 6 pairs on sale for about $6.99. Needless to say, I returned them.

I am so glad that I found these socks! I have been suffering from seams in socks, which was getting to the point of making me irritable all day, just because of my socks. Constantly having to take my shoes off and adjust. With these socks, I no longer have to do that. These truly feel seamless! I loved them so much that I ordered a second pack, so I will have plenty. I am never buying any other socks again. One note: I got the medium Big Kid Size for myself, and I wear a size 8½ ladies shoe, so these run large. Order a size smaller and you should be fine. They are terrific socks!
