I was primarily looking for another shoe to use when traveling in Europe. This shoe will fit the bill for walking on uneven surfaces, cobblestones and broken sidewalks. It appears it will hold up to sudden rain showers often unexpected. Fits true to size both in width and length.

LOVE this shoe. I've been having multiple issues with my hip the past few months and the only shoe I could wear was the Yukatan Ecco sandal. I wore them all winter with socks and yes it looked ridiculous but I was pain free. Finally saw a podiatrist and purchased custom inserts (I have high arches) and then went on a mission to find something that would work (spending a small fortune as not one closed toe shoe was pain free) until I finally came across this shoe and thought I'd give it a try. It's awesome and my pain is gone!!!!!!!! For now on, all of my shoes will be purchase through Zappos and they will be Ecco's!!! I especially appreciated reading the reviews on the shoes I was researching!!!!!!

It is difficult to find shoes with some style that my orthodics fit into. These have a nice amount of space in the toe box to accommodate my inserts. I love Eccos this has to be maybe my sixth pair. A good polish always makes them look like new.

I was looking for comfortable shoes but these just looked so not stylish. I had to return them. Grandma looking shoes. I found another pair in Skechers that are comfortable and sporty and stylish.

Totally satisfied with the shoes and the service Shoes are comfortable and what I expected--had a similar pair previously.

The ECCO Babett is a well made classy shoe with "pin hole" design on toe that reminds me of leather in a high class sports car. It is too wide for me, I normally wear a narrow but they are hard to find. It's probably right for a medium size foot. I love Zappos! Its the only place I know where I can return shoes for free. It is the best way for narrow footed women to buy shoes!

I absolutely love these shoes. I need to wear orthotics and they fit easily into these shoes. They are true to size also. Just wish they came in other colors.

These are very comfortable and perfect when I put my insoles in (I have low arches). I love that Ecco uses real leather as opposed to the synthetic genuine leather. My feet can breathe!

I can't believe how comfortable these pretty shoes are. I can wear them as long as I want, which is unusual for me. I love them. I wish they came in more colors. I can't comment on arch support, because I put custom orthotics in mine.

These are great shoes. They are super comfortable, supportive enough to walk around in all day. Not perhaps the most stylish, but unobtrusive so they look okay in many settings. The Velcro strap makes them easy to adjust if your feet swell later in the day.

These shoes are so comfortable. I can walk for hours in them and they are perfect with pants and skirts when you need comfort without an athletic look.

I haven't actually worn these shoes yet but have tried them and walked around the house and they feel great. I have several other pair of Ecco shoes and know from experience that these shoes will provide the comfort and support my feet need. Style-wise they look like Mother Hubbard or flower child shoes but at my age who cares!

I love these shoes! I wore out my first pair of Ecco Mary Jane's that I bought in 2009 -- they walked all over Europe and many U.S. states for me, and I wore them almost daily! They weren't available for a while and tried on numerous other brands, but couldn't find any I liked as much that felt as comfortable. I was so happy when I saw these on Zappos! This pair is every bit as comfortable! I can walk and walk for miles in them with no pain -- like walking on clouds. They are attractive too, and I expect them to hold up as well as my last pair. After a few months of hard wear they still look brand new.

These are very comfortable shoes. I generally wear Ecco brand shoes and love them! I would like these shoes in burgendy and navy also!

I have spent $1000s on trying to find shoe that is comfortable and allows me to be pain free. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day, these are perfect! No pain. First time in years.

A great shoe for walking, provides good support, and looks great on my feet. Love the beige-gray color. I usually wear a size 8M, but on this shoe there is a lot of space behind my heel, perhaps because it is listed as 8-8.5 in size. I like a shoe that fits loosely because I don't want to develop sores because of my diabetes. After family members told me the shoe looked too big, I decided to order the shoe in 7-7.5M. It feels great, so I have decided to keep both. Altho the 8-8.5M is a little large and I can put my finger between my heel and the back of the shoe I like the shoe and it is comfortable so I have decided to keep it.

This delightful little lightweight shoe is the first "normal shoe" I have been able to wear for years. Neuropathy put me in clunky tennis shoes & stiff orthotics. These enable my feet to flex. I wear them only a while each day but they look nice and are very comfortable. So thankful a friend recommended them.

These were cute but ran too narrow for my medium-wide size 11 feet. Unfortunately there is not a wide option and they are going back.

These Ecco shoes are very comfortable. I had a similar brown pair and wanted to get another pair like them. They work well for traveling and being on my feet all day.

I too love these! I purchased these to replace a similar pair from more than a year ago. I wore them out! These are even better. Like other reviewers, I started experiencing hip problems on longer walks. I looked down and my favorite ECCOs were no longer supporting my feet well. I had also worn down the tread. I m not complaining...just giving a sense in how much I walk in a year! The Babett was comfortable right out of the box on a 3-4 mile walk. No hip problems at all. I love the Gravel Firefly color. It is a good neutral which looks brown with brown pants, more gray with black jeans, and good with blue jeans. Best. Shoes Ever.

I have had many challenges finding shoes that fit my feet that didn't throw my body out of whack. Fortunately, I found Ecco brand and wore the Yucatan sandal year round. I never found a closed-toe shoe to fit me until I received a Zappo's email and bought Ecco's Babett MaryJane. I love that they are so comfortable and, best of all, adjustable. Plus, they look sharp too!

Comfortable out of the box! Wore them all day the first day. I replaced the insole with my own insert and they fit perfectly, otherwise they would have been a little large on me. If they made a nice bright red, I'd buy them!

Love the shoe. So comfortable and very supportive. Can wear with or without socks and plenty of room in the toebox.

The heel is a little large, and I would like a little firmer arch support. But, overall, it's a good shoe.

I own a pair of these from several years ago. They were great go to shoes! The current design looks more clunky than it used to, but most disappointing the strap across the top has been moved lower on the shoe cutting into the top of my foot. I would love to see Ecco bring back the previous design.
