These adorable boots are very snug and comfy. However, a walk in the first snow of the season made it clear that they are NOT waterproof. And the zippers don't stay up so snow gets in at the top. I really wanted to love these boots, but hope Zappos will take them back.

Note to self...listen to what practically everyone reviewed about this boot! Although this boot is exactly what I was looking for, very cute, and even very comfortable - the zipper will not zup up all the way/stay up. Please do not bother with this item.

I purchased these Khombu boots almost three years ago for a trip to Alaska. They were absolutely great! They definitely kept my feet warm and dry. I have been wearing them on cold, winter days ever since! I have to wear orthotics in my tennis shoes, but the support in these boots is fantastic! I wore my first pair out because I wore them so much. I am looking for the same boots. I absolutely love them!

These are great boots that are waterproof and warm. I am moving to Massachusetts from Texas I owned no winter clothes and was told of Zappos' great selection even late in the year

I have worn these boots during our coldest weather this week. My feet are staying warm. I just went out for several hours in bitter cold and stayed warm. The support is very good after wearing them for hours in a day. I have not tried them in wet weather yet. I will see how waterproof they are.

These are awesome boots. They are very comfortable and they keep my feet very warm and dry. I have wider than average feet and usually wear a 9½W, the 10M fit just fine. I live in Chicago and it has been around 0°, these boots are keeping my feet warm and dry. Fantastic price for such high quality boots!

Absolutely love the boot. Had to return it (and reordered it) as the stitching was funny on the left boot. I have really narrow feet so they are perfect for me but might be too narrow for someone else.

These have style, comfort, and warmth. I was hoping to replace fur line black boots that I brought from Michigan. I do not like cold feet. These boots will likely fill the bill and they look like regular shoes under pants. I love the patent trim. I have narrow feet and the fit is great. Actually all six boots I ordered this season fit perfectly. What a surprise for hard to fit me. I had to send four back, but kept two pairs. This one and another from Tundra called Ruth. I am going to review that one next.

I purchased a pair of these boots last year so this review is based on satisfaction over a full season of wear. I wear a heavier weight sock in the winter and purchased a half size larger than I normally wear. Instead of 6.5 I ordered 7. That was ideal for me. The one drawback I had at first was the zippers seemed hard to get zipped all the way up. No problems at all now after wearing a year. These are super warm with the fleecy lining and as comfortable as an athletic shoe. The fleece around the top is cute but the style is refined enough to still look appropriate under pants for office wear and meeting with clients. I wear them indoors as well as out and they keep feet warm under icy desk at work. Works with leggings too. They have withstood the elements well, but I did not try sloshing through deep snow since I have several other boots for serious snow or wet weather. Looking for other colors today.

Needed a waterproof ankle-height snow boot in a hurry. This is warm, sturdy and fit the bill. Was roomy, so I wear an extra pair of socks.

I got this boot for work travel to a snowy location, where I didn't want to look like I was wearing snow boots to meetings. This worked for that, as much as a snow boot can! My feet stayed warm and it was comfortable for walking in. However, the front zippers would not stay up! I was wearing heavier socks than normal (because of the cold) so that may have contributed, but I ended up just leaving them unzipped most of the time because I was tired of rezipping them just to have them fall down again.

I love Khombu for their grippy soles and warm faux-fur lining. I ordered these because the shaft was not as high as my other Khombu boots. I needed something that would go underneath wider legged, boot cut jeans, and the Lily Zip was short enough for that. What I didn't like was how the fabric folded under the zipper and made the boot around my ankle too tight. The design is great in terms of keeping the snow and water out but for everyday walking and wear, it would be too uncomfortable. These had to go back to Zappos but instead, I ordered the Khombu Paige and those worked out just perfectly!

These boots are very cute, but I have a high "rise" on the front of my foot and I could not zip them up all the way to the top of the zipper. They are definitely cute and warm, but I am returning them because of the zipper issue.

These boots are cute, look great under jeans, kept my feet warm and dry while shoveling 12 inches of snow BUT they are impossible to zip up. I had to use needle nose pliers to pull the zippers up and then one zipper pull broke off when trying to unzip. Loved these if only the zippers were better.

I really liked these, but I couldn't zip them up. If you have wide calves, skip these. Seemed like a very comfortable, warm boot with good support, but useless if you can't zip them.

Zippers will not stay up. Returned one pair thinking it was limited to that pair. Liked the boot style, comfort, and warmth but do not think they are worth the money when the zippers do not stay up. Would not purchase again. Disappointed.

These boots are comfortable and stylish. They do not stay zipped up despite my efforts to carefully zip and place the zipper pull flat. This has happened every time I wear them. I can't recommend them based on the zipper issue.

Had a pair last season but left them in a hotel accidentally. Loved them so re-ordered and they were too narrow in the calf to zip. So disappointed to have to return them.

These don't fit well and hard to zip up. Bought a pair of these 3 years ago and the quality was much better. Had to send them back, regretfully.

I should have listened to the other reviews that explain the zipper doesn't stay closed. The tongue under the zipper is padded, and the zipper is hard to close with all that extra puffy fabric and does not stay up. The rest of the boot is wonderful - if the flap under the zipper were just waterproof and not puffy it would probably work fine, or if the ankle were wider if would be fine. Zipper does not work.

Thumbs-down -- way down. After only a few minutes of wear the zipper on one boot failed. It now will not stay zipped, so the boot is too loose to wear. Such junk. In addition to the poor quality, these boots are not warm at all. Spend your money elsewhere.
