I love these boots! So comfortable and stylish. I am a woman's 5, and got a youth 3- fits great! I want them in all colors available. :)

My daughter was over the moon when I bought her these boots. In her fourth month wearing the boots to school, one of the boots color faded, making it look like she was wearing two different colors. Then the zipper broke. I was very disappointed because I spent a lot of money on these boots. I am still trying to fix the zipper because she is heartbroken.

This was my child's 3rd pair of Steve Madden boots but the first black pair. We purchased this pair because the other pairs had held up so well. We loved the style and fit of this boot. However, the durability is less than desired for the price. Granted my child is rough on shoes but the toes and heels of these boots are completely destroyed, scoffed down to the whitish underlayer. They are completely unwearable after only having been worn 3 times! On the other hand, the brown boots have been worn dozens of times and only have some slight scuffs in the leather. I do not recommend these black boots for anything other than strictly dress-up. Save your money or buy brown. It's a shame because the black matched her outfits so much better.

These are some of the worst boots I’ve ever purchased for my girl.. not too long after wearing them they became horribly scuffed and the metal lace holders tear at the laces so they look like crap! They also run small & honestly for $70 are just complete garbage.. would’ve rather spent $25 on a pair of target boots for her.. they would’ve lasted longer.

My seven year old daughter loved these boots at first. The boots are adorable and stylish, and the leather is very soft. I had seen reviews on various sites that mentioned how cheaply made these boots were (in both the adult and child sizes), but I was hoping that we would be among the lucky purchasers who had no such problems. (I also assumed that, even if the quality was subpar, it would not matter much for kids' boots - as I assumed my daughter would outgrow the boots long before any problems arose.) Unfortunately, the boots did not work out for us. Within a week, the zipper on one boot had broken at the top so that one sharp zipper tooth was sticking out causing numerous scratches (and one bloody cut) on my daughter's other leg as she walked. I am usually pretty handy at fixing things, but I was unable to fix this - I could not push the tooth back into place, remove it, or find a way to cover it. So my daughter got only a few wears out of the boots before they became unwearable. They have been sitting unworn in her closet now for almost three months. It is probably just a fluke, and we probably just got unlucky. I offered to try to exchange the boots for another pair in the same style, but my daughter does not want to risk cutting up her leg again - so we will look for something else. It is really a shame, because the style of the boots is great.

They were for my Grandaughter. She Loves them and wore them today for school. Also they were delivered yesterday for her birthday.

My 11 year old loves these boots! The reviews on size are correct- they run about 1 size big. My daughter wears them all the time and said they were comfy from day one!

I purchased these for my 8 year old and she loved them the minutes she put them on. She said they were really comfortable.

Love these. They feel like very nice, worn leather once you've broken them in, and I'd imagine they're a kids' counterpart of the original Troopa with the same quality (I don't own the adult Troopas). I'm a 3 or 4 kids (5 or 6 women's) and these fit very nicely! Been wearing them in NY-type autumn/winter. I'm 5'2" and they don't hit at an awkward length, very nice overall.

I have attempted to purchase 5 different Steve Madden shoe styles. No matter the design, they are outrageously UNCOMFORTABLE. Like walking on concrete!

I bought a pair of these boots based on the reviews of others. I'm another person who wears size 5 women's shoe. I was hesitant at first because they are made for children, but they fit perfectly! I'm very pleased with them. I got compliments and no one ever suspected that they were from the children's section.

I love these boots! They run big though, and there are no half-sizes. I had to return the size 2, and buy a size 1, and to my surprise they fit great.

My very active daughter has had these on from the moment they came. No break in required, they were comfortable from day one. These are spendier than we usually do for her shoes but they're super cute and so far the quality seems good- if they last through the year with everyday use they'll be worth it.

I've been wanting to get the womens Troopa boots but the size was too big and the shaft was too long for me and my short height! So when I realized these boots came in kids sizes, I knew I had to have it! I am a size 5 in womens, and kids size 3 fits me perfectly. I love it. Staple for fall. The fit and materials are nice, but the seam across the toe makes them look a little cheap.

These boots almost fit my daughter. She loved the look, but they were a little too narrow for her. While she does not have "wide" feet, they are slightly wide, and she usually prefers to size up. These were just difficult for her to get her foot into, and once on they were tight.

I bought this for my ten year old daughter and it is adorable, comfortable and fashionable. She loves it!

My daughter loves these! The only problem is that the laces are WAY too long! We can't figure out what we're supposed to do with the excess. Suggestions welcomed!

ran small and were very narrow. my foot could fit in but only just, and it was very uncomfortable bc of how narrow and tight they were and when my foot would bend, the bend was at the wrong place bc of how tight the shoe was, making it painful to walk.

Our granddaughter received these boots for Christmas. She was so happy with them until the zipper pull came off. Not sure how to fix it. Any suggestions?

These boots are cute out of the box. Then within two weeks, they looked like they had been worn for two years! They are not worth the money! They look like absolute junk after a few wears. Despite looking awful, my daughter loves them and still wears them (to my dismay).
