Like, but too big.

Great Levi fit. Comfortable, good stretch, quality fabric, and well built.

Ordered 2 different washes as Christmas gifts for my husband. He wears a 32 x 30 and has a very muscular build, especially in the legs. If this sounds like you, pay attention to which washes have stretch in them, which I neglected to do! The Blue Stone wash has stretch and fit him perfectly. The Bowman Lake does not, and he could not get them up over his knees. Wish Levi's would consistently make the same style with the exact same fabric content across the board, but oh well. The pair that fits him is well-loved.

The good... I am tall and skinny so these fit me very well. Trim with just the right amount of loose around the butt and legs. There is enough flex that I can move easily and have room around the waist for "lunch". The fabric is lightweight denim. If you are looking for a durable working denim this is not it. What this pant does is look good cause my bride said so. The bad... They are not made perfect because the crotch to butt seam does not line up straight. Line up the butt seam and the zipper is off to the left. I ordered another pair of the same with much better fit results.

They fit well and feel pretty much like cotton denim even though there is a small amount of synthetic fiber in the fabric. They are slim through the thigh and legs, which is what I was looking for. I don't care much for the selection of styles offered by Levi's in the 513, but maybe I'm just too old.

Not too tight, not too baggy. The color goes with anything.

Fit and color are spot on. The lower leg is a little too wide, but it still works. Still current, but a little different than the tapered leg I usually wear.

As of this date (October 2018), I guess this review really won't matter because online chatter indicates Levi's 513 has been discontinued. They fit my fairly thin thighs and butt much better than the other Levis (and Lee) styles that are increasingly made for fat people (and apparently for increasingly fatter people). A couple of comments though. I am not quite thin, but I eat good food (i.e., not crap), so I am slim. I am a cyclist, so my legs do have some tone, not just bone. A 31 x 34 would fit me better, but Levis does not even make this size. No, it's not all about me. But I know people who are thinner than me, and I find it hard to believe that Levis can't make some money from sizes in the thinner range. Not ALL of their clothes have to made for fat people. Second comment: This is personal taste, but the description says these pants are straight from the knee down. I really don't think this is right. I didn't want nor buy 'skinny' jeans. Yet, these pants are constantly caught on the tops of my shoes heels and behind the laces. Did any designer try these before they put them on the market? Okay, a third comment. I admit I don't buy 'designer' jeans because I think anybody would have to be nuts to pay a lot of money for mass-produced denim. And in that vein, you can go many places and buy many styles of Levis for 30-something dollars. So why are the 513s either $60 or $70? Yes, they undoubtedly sell fewer of them than fat jeans, but c'mon, they just change the computerized sewing machines' pattern to run 30,000 pairs of 513s instead of 505s or . . . (albeit, in varying sizes --but that is true for all of their jeans). Having said all that, because there are limited options for slimmer people, I probably would buy them again and in fact, I have already. Apparently, this will not be an option for long though.

Levi’s are still freakin awesome. why spent $200 ???? these were super comfortable cuz they stretch so they move with you. Can’t mess with the classic style.

Overall I am satisfied with these jeans, the fit in the legs and butt is very good...if Levi's make a similar fit that sits above the hips I would love to know what is, I would be a big fan!!

I would not say that these jeans are slim, more just like a straight leg jean. The odd thing is the length was a little long. I have worn a 32 length for a long time, and they are always a perfect fit. These are longer, I put them up against other Levi's I have and they are longer by 2 inches. Maybe they will shrink as they are washed.

I'm glad that I can still get reliable, affordable jeans. There's nothing surprising here. The quality what you should expect from a pair of Levi's. The color matches what you'd expect from the photos.

These jeans have a very nice modern cut, the color is perfect, and the price is fair. My complaint about the jeans is they stretch out very badly after only a few hours of wear to the point where they feel a bit baggy around my waist. I believe this is due to the lycra / spandex in the material, at least on this specific color. I typically like to wear a pair of jeans for a few days in a row and I don't think I can do that with these.

The 513's are perfect for the person that wants something stylish but doesn't want to do the "skinny jean" look....especially if you're not a kid anymore. I used to wear 511's but after a few months, they'd stretch out and get baggy. These jeans will be tight when you first get them, but after a little wear, they fit great and I receive lots of compliments on them!

Fit well, good quality

I had never bought anything from Zappos until a few weeks ago. I'm so glad that I did try you out! Everything has been great. I actually bought three pair of 513 Slim Straight Fit jeans, two 38 x 30 which I thought would be my size, but they kept on slipping down on me. So then, I bought one pair of 36 x 30 which are a much better fit for me. I had already worn the 38 waist pairs so I just put them in the closet for a possible future weight gain. Overall, I have really enjoyed the 36s, but would say the they run a bit on the big side through the waist. I have also been more that pleased by the incredible service that the Zappos crew presents. I was impressed and will continue to use Zappos going forward.

I bought two pairs of these for my son. One pair was truly a 30" inseam and one pair was about 28". Otherwise, we love them!

Comfortable stretch jeans. Moonlight worn. Great for nightlife style jeans. Love Zappos's return policy along with quick delivery timing (1-2 business days).

the material makes these like a hybrid between jeans and yoga pants...fits snug and stretches as much as needed... but you really cant consider them jeans, can you?

Good slim straight jeans. The top block is on the tighter side, which makes for a nice slim look. However, these pants have stretch, which makes them comfortable regardless. The fabric is heavier, it feels like a 12-14oz type of denim. Leg opening is not very tapered, so the pants look nice with boots. I wish the color was a more mild version of what it is, but it's good now too.
