This is a great trail running or light hiking shoe. It's perfectly true to size, and accommodates my wide, high-arch foot shape very well (in a wide size). The NB MO790 is more rugged than it looks and is supportive but not stiff and is, in fact, quite light. The sole is firm, with good underfoot protection which is not squishy at all. I'd buy again for sure.

Good comfort. True to size. Used it on a rainy day and my feet were pretty soaked. I guess they are only mildly water resistant. Other than the water resistant issues the shoes helped well under a rock terrain. Comfortable to run in for smoother part of trail.

Solid shoe for running outdoors. Used this shoe for a recent 5K. It was a little heavier than a running shoe, but felt stable on the different terrains.

Appear well made and nice aggressive tread. Very comfy and each step feels firm and secure. I kind of feel they might run a half size big as I got an 11 and after wearing a couple weeks they seemed a little loose. But overall a great shoe and ordering a second in 10.5. It'll fit like a glove then!!

This is an excellent shoe. It's great for a casual comfort fit and outdoor activities. It's durable and tough. I really like them and would get a second pair when they wear out.

I ordered yesterday and they arrived today. Zappos provided free shipping. That was awesome! These shoes are very lightweight, and comfortable. The high top keeps out trail debris; I am very pleased with my purchase.

First off I have to start with just how light weight this shoe is. I am a "sneaker head" through and through. Without a doubt if someone could put this shoe on you and asked you to guess what it was you would say a sneaker. Now add style and you have one heck of a shoe!

I have had many pairs of New Balance and I have to say this is the best pair I've ever owned. Comfortable right from the get-go. True to size.

Stylish and incredibly comfortable. They are lighter weight than they appear from the photo, but sturdy due to the sole material and the high-top ankle. The treads are suitable trails or pavement.

Shoe is really light. Big fan of the running shoe/hiking boot hybrid. It really can be either/both. Only problem is the toebox (even on a 4e width) is VERY tapered. I should have ordered up another 1/2 size, but even then my outside 3 toes would probably still be squished.

These are my first pair of new balance, overall a good shoe. I would like more arch support, but this would not prevent me from buying another pair when these wear out.

Every thing was great about this shoe except the toe did not have enough room. When walking the shoe pressed the nail of the big toe causing discomfort. Unfortunately New Balance discontinued the model I had before that fit perfectly.

The shoe is very light almost as light as my NB 1260v3 running shoes. Love the style and materials. I wasn't happy with the sizing. I ordered an 8 & 8.5 to figure out which was the better fit. The 8 was ready out of the box but too tight in the toe box. The 8.5 was probably the better choice but the toe box was too loose and it was uncomfortable at the arch. Also, the 8 was not sown correctly. Was irregular compared to the other shoe. I will be returning both.
