I own several Gentle Souls shoes and these are by far the most roomy. I'm a size 9M and they fit with a little room to spare. I only wear thin tights with these, so that may be why they feel roomy. These are comfy right out of the box. I love this. They have the right amount of style and the heel height is very stylish. Only have worn these with leggings so far, but these will work with jeans and skirts too. They do not feel narrow at all, very true to size.

I thought they were cute but the top edge of the sole (where stitching might be on other boots) was molded plastic "teeth"--that's the only way I can think of to describe it. If you look closely in the pictures you can see what I mean. I didn't like the look of the teeth and felt the design made the boots look cheaper than they were. I personally would have preferred stitching.

These are cuter in the picture than in person they are a bit more bulky in the toe area like almost rounded orthopedic looking not terribly but more than I would like , I own some Kork-Ease with a higher heel and they are more comfortable and stylish than these, FYI I only wore these for a few minutes around my house so they may get more comfy the more you wear them. I was excited to try Gentle Souls for now I will stick to Kork-Ease and just wait for the Castaneda to come in my size in the black color.

These shoes run a tad bit big so I ended up with a 6.5 although I always wear a 7. These are very cool Moto booties and are comfortable to boot!

Lovely item! I found them to be true to size. I had originally ordered one size up and ended up returning them for my regular size.

They fit perfectly. I usually wear a size 10 M, and that's what I ordered and they fit exactly as the should. I love them. They're comfortable, cute and well-made. Perfect!

I bought these and when my mother in law saw them she put them on and lived them. They are hers now:) they look very well made and the cushioning is amazing. Looks a little more casual so better with jeans. Not for a suit. Great boot.

The fit and size is perfect. They are comfortable out of the box. I love this boot.

OMG, these boots are amazing! I ordered my usual “boot” size and they fit perfectly. I prefer wearing a mid-weight sock with all my boots and these boots can be worn with my usual socks, or even a slightly lighter weight sock. If I were going to wear no socks or tights with these boots, I might consider going down a half size. These are very well made and have a buttery soft leather lining and very comfortable foot bed. They look great with skinny jeans and leggings; they have a substantial look without being clunky!

These boots were pretty cute, but they were way too narrow for my toes. I do have moderate bunions but I never need a wide width so I was surprised how tight they were. Other than that, they were pretty nice.

These shoes are cuter in the photos. They have a rather bulbous toe box that’s not attractive on. They’re also really heavy. I felt like I had clown shoes on!

Super unattractive! Shiny teeth on the sole made me not even consider trying them on. So cheap looking it totally ruined the boot appearance! Returned immediately! So disappointed!

I’m a size 8 med in all Merrell shoes and ordered an 8 med in this boot. Fit was good, but toe not as round and comfortable as I prefer. Also didn’t care for the grain of the leather...almost pebbled, way too casual. Other reviews praising the comfort of this boot are misleading. Padding is average, but way overrated. Padding in heel not enough for me. Heel strike was hard and miserable with each step, as the heel sole is a nonflexible material with no shock absorption. I have nerve entrapment in my neck and it was irritated within 10 seconds of test walking at home. I don’t agree that this is the most comfortable boot ever. My Merrell, BOC, and Timberland boots are much more comfortable and stylish. I bought SofComfort memory foam inserts for $7 which has better cushioning than the hyped up flax seed footing in this boot. Thanks to Zappos great return option, these are going back.

Perfect fit. I’m a true 7.5 with high arch, ordered 7.5 and it fits perfectly. Rise and shaft are perfect with ankle jeans.

Very comfortable from the first wearing, so comfortable that immediately after receiving them I traveled for a week with only this boot and a heel.

These boots are awesome! Very comfortable from the moment I tried them on. They don’t rub my foot wrong and they fit perfectly around my ankle. They are also very stylish with a more rugged leather and the buckles!

The Moto style boot is perfect! Great fit! goes well with tights/skirt, jeans/sweater, AND a jean dress! Very pleased with my purchase.

These are some of the most comfortable boots I've ever owned, so comfortable I bought a second pair to have when these become too worn. They're stylish and they dress up and down beautifully.

These fit perfectly and true to size. I wore them today for the first time and walked about 2 miles. They are extremely comfortable. No problems at all! Very high quality. I'm very happy with them.

Super comfy boots - I bought nine pairs and narrowed it down to three and had to keep these because as soon as I put them on they were so comfy. They didn't require any breaking in!

Completely up to Gentle Souls' standards--gorgeous leather,so well made and comfortable right out of the box. Just what I wanted, classy with just enough edge with straps and buckles. Could spend a lot more on boots of this quality and style. Very happy they're now in my closet.

Some of these best boots I've ever purchased. I received them on the 31st of December and I've probably worn them the last 13 out of 16 days I've had them. The insole was a little squished in the toe when I received them but once I wore them for a couple hours I didn't even notice. I'm a hairstylist and I normally wear wedges to work for height but I find every excuse to wear these boots. My husband has even said to me, 'geez you're gonna wear the soles off of those things!' I'm normally a 7 in regular shoes and 7.5 in boots. I ordered a 7.5 and they're perfect! They get more comfortable the more I wear them!

Outstanding support with great style/quality! I'm a physical therapist and a shoe with exceptional arch and calcaneal (heel) support is hard to find in a shoe and more so in a boot! This is my first experience with Gentle Souls. They are on my radar not only for me but my chronic pain patients. WELL worth the money!
