These are the most comfortable athletic style steel toe shoes that I have worn! The Tucsons are the perfect balance between work shoes and shoes that you can also wear anywhere! I am an airline ramp agent, so I am usually on my feet running around loading bags and cargo on my flights, moving equipment or marshaling aircraft. The front rubber toe protectors are also handy since I am frequently loading bags on my knees and constantly rubbing the front of my shoes across the cargo bin. Although these Keens have steel toes, they are light enough that I do not notice them. I also have flat feet and the included insoles have enough support that my feet are not sore at the end of my shift or the next morning, unlike the leather athletic steel toe work shoes I previously bought from Red Wing Shoes. These Keen Tucsons are true to size, so do not order half a size smaller like Keen's website says. Also, if you layer with two pairs of socks for cold weather, it will be a very tight fit. Definitely choosing Keens from now on. They are excellent quality. They are worth the money!

I purchased these shoes over two months ago. My intent was to write a review based on at least one month of use. 60 days into wearing these nonstop for a daily courier gig for a major carrier in a large city, I can't recommend them enough. I had concerns over any extra weight that the steel toe feature might have added, and the effectiveness of the waterproofing. Both concerns have been eliminated. I move around -- in and out of trucks and around the warehouse -- so much on a daily basis that I'm stunned these shoes look and feel as new as they did when I pulled them out of the box. The steel toes are hardly noticeable fit-wise and provide enormous peace of mind. The waterproofing is bulletproof. I've stepped in puddles and other goo that comes with the territory and job description and my feet have remained as protected as an egg in a safe deposit box. As Keen's go, they have a wider than usual toe box, which for someone with bunions, is great for me. I've NEVER had a problem with comfort or room. Unlike Keen sandals, these do NOT run bigger or smaller when it comes to size. Order your traditional shoe size and you should be fine. I also get a lot of compliments on the pair, which is always welcome. I will absolutely buy these again when and if the time comes.

These shoes are comfortable and work well for me standing on concrete floors all day. The only thing that I have found wrong with them is that the left shoe is missing some of the stitching around the vent panels doesn't seem to affect anything except how they look.

Best work shoe I have ever owned. I deliver 180lb kegs all day for a local brewery. I am outdoors and always on my feet in all weather conditions. These shoes are possibly the best available for the price. I plan to buy them consistently. Drink local beer and buy great shoes, it is good for you.

Another comfortable shoe right out of the box. I had many of the Keens and they never disappoint. Well, one time. Bought the San Antonio shoe back in February, the right shoe ripped badly around pinky toe. Zappos refunded the cost , so I got the Tucson. Zappos is the best!!

Just got them, so far so good. A little bit heavier than the oxfords they replaced, but if they keep my feet cooler I will be extremely happy. I feel the look is perfect for my position, wear business casual is required.

These are the best. I'm on my second pair of steel toe Tucson lowtops, and I also have the same boot in the hightop version. I work in heavy construction, and I feel like I'm wearing tennis shoes all day, yet they meet all the ASTM/ANSI safety ratings. I wear the hightops if I'm working in deep mud, other than that the lowtops are perfect for everything. They are my favorite everyday shoe and boot all in one. So comfy, good looking, and super tough.

Shoe is a good fit, but the cushion on the heel of both shoes start to peel off after six months of wearing. It's a second pair in a row has the same issue.

Sizing took a while (I had to do two exchanges for smaller sizes; the size chart is half to a full size too big) but super comfortable and sturdy feeling now that I can actually wear them. The appearance is still a bit weird in my opinion because they look strange if you can see the top of the shoe (non-boot-cut jeans or shorts) because the rest looks like a boot but that is a minor point. The toe box is super roomy and the steel insert makes it noticeable heavier in the front when holding the shoe in your hand but I do not notice at all when wearing them. I have not tripped on any stairs yet but we will see. The size chart is way overzealous on the size number equivalent of your feet. In most regular shoes I wear an 11 and I wear an 11½ in hiking boots (with thicker socks). I measured my feet heel to big toe and also heel to second toe by standing on a metal ruler and the size chart put my left foot at between 11½-12 and my right foot around an 11½. The first pair I got was 11½ and that was way too big, both in the width and length, and they were physically huge, like clown shoes. I exchanged them for an 11 and that also felt too big. By pushing the toe into the ground with it laced up I could not make either of my toes touch the front and it still felt like my foot was swimming. I exchanged them for a 10½ and that is much closer to fitting correctly; I can feel the front with one of my toes if I push forward but if the shoe is not laced up tightly it still feels a bit large. These shoes are supposed to be wide so maybe the toe box is supposed to be really roomy. I kept the 10½ because my feet are fairly wide and I would like to have the option of wearing thicker socks in the winter but I have a sneaking suspicion a 10 would still fit me. This is a full size smaller than all my shoes from other brands and 1-1½ sizes smaller than the Keen sizing chart says I am so keep this in mind. These are great shoes once you get the right size!

A go to shoe. Great shoe for outside work. Best features of these shoes are their safety features, waterproof and hardiness. This is my second purchase of this hardworking shoe in three years.

These are the best Keens I have bought. Most of the time the soles fall off before they really get worn out elsewhere. These have held up for almost a year and really look almost new. They are somewhat heavy compared to others I have purchased but they are nearly as comfortable, and since they've lasted this long, I'd purchase again.

These are fantastic steel toe shoes. I'm used to wearing oxfords but changed jobs and need steel toes. More comfortable than oxfords...like a low hiker. And look like a low hiker. I'm typically on my feet 8 - 10 hours a day, and these are comfy, with decent arch support, the whole time.

.I needed new steel toe boots for work. My five year old Timberland Pros were falling apart. I was looking for something lighter and have heard good things about Keen. I ordered these in 10D (my normal size) and they fit great right out of the box. They are heavier than expected but certainly much lighter than the Timberlands. They seem well made and don't have the "clown shoe" look that some other Keen models have. One minor complaint: I needed to print a receipt so I could get reimbursement from my employer. When I tried to print a receipt it was always missing a piece of information I needed. I had to call customer service and have them email a complete usable receipt to me. Otherwise, great shoe buying experience.

Right out of the box these shoes fit great. I was very surprised by how much toe room I had with this shoe being steel toe. I wore them today for the first time and my one complaint would be that my feet got rather hot. Don't know if I just been to break them in a little or if these shoes aren't the best to wear in the summer working out side all day as a swimming pool technician. I always wear moisture wicking shoes that are very breathable and my feet just got slightly sweaty after wearing for just half the day. The shoes are great though. The real test will be to see how long it takes for the sole to start coming apart from the toe area. I'm hoping the steel toe part will help keep that area from separating after only a few months but we will see.

I purchased these for my husband to wear for work. He is on his feet all day long and usually wears a boot. He loves these for the warmer months just says that they are a little heavy most likley due to the steel toe.
