I loved loved absolutely LOVED this jacket....until the first time I washed it. I followed the care instructions exactly but it hasn't been the same. Before washing, the jacket had a nice nip in at the waist and a little flare at the hip...after washing it hangs like a sack, shapeless, boxy, horrible. I tried drying it flat and re shaping as per the tag instructions. I tried drying it hanging up with a hair band tied in the middle to give it that nipped in at the waist look, but neither helped. I honestly think that whatever was in the jacket to hold it's initial shape, washes out and then you're left like I was with a shapeless mess of a jacket that I can no longer wear. It's very disappointing as previous to that this was my favorite jacket.

A great black "blazer" to add to your wardrobe: You can wear it without worrying about it wrinkling, and you can throw it on a chair or car seat without it getting rumpled. It is well made, and it's a great length.

This jacket is fantastic! It is very slimming, and is a nice longer length for leggings. The fabric is lightweight, so will be good for cool evenings even in the summer. I wear it with jeans and tshirt, but could definitely be dressed up. I love it!

Love the cut and style of this jacket. It's a nice casual jacket that I can wear anywhere. I haven't washed it yet, but I can see how it needs to be handled gently to avoid fading and shrinking (it's cotton). I'm going to take extra care with it - which is kind of a pain, but worth it.

I have not washed the jacket yet, but so far, I LOVE it. Super comfy soft cotton with lots of amazing stylish details. It looks like a tailored blazer, and has the feel but not the look of a favorite t-shirt. If the seams weren't so emphasized on the outside, I would order additional colors (I have the black). I'm afraid the external seams might look unintended in other colors, as if you put the jacket on inside-out by mistake? I'd love to hear from anyone who has the jacket in other colors, because with this stylish look + comfort, I want to pick up other colors before they are gone, too (if feasible). Looks great with slim pants or skinny jeans. Love this addition to the wardrobe.

I've always loved equestrian riding clothes, but can never find outfits that don't look like I just jumped off a horse and walked into my office. This jacket bridges that gap, especially because it can be worn with slim jeans/pants and heels. I wish there were more classic, tailored clothes like this for women. Granted, the seams on this jacket are a little raw, almost as though you've accidentally turned the jacket inside out. But the tailoring for a knit piece is stellar, especially with the cinch at the waist and not-too-much-flair at the hips. It is also SUPER comfortable, which is incredibly hard to find in tailored ladies' wear (why??), so this is a keeper. I bought the black, and I'm debating buying the gray also - if it came in navy, there would be no debate!

I love this jacket! Had dresses picked out for two events but because the weather was not cooperating bought this very last minute to wear with black skinny jeans. It fits my 5'7", 140 lb frame perfectly. Has a nice feminine touch, very nice detailing and I love the subtle equestrian look which was perfect for a Preakness event. Based on reviews I plan to have this dry cleaned instead of washing as I want to maintain this jacket as long as possible. Dress it up or down, very versatile and so comfortable you won't want to take it off!

This is a fun little jacket to throw on for work or on your way to grab a bite with friends. It's not thick fabric but a very cute look!

The jacket is comfortable. The shape of the jacket is unstructured. Not for formal occasions.

True to size and cute tailoring but very thin fabric and flairs our more than I was looking for. The description says it isn't lined and I didn't think that would bother me but it does cheapen the jacket. Wasn't quite what I was looking for but if I saw someone wearing it, I would think it's a cute jacket.

Not for me. I'm 5'8" and a size 6/8, and a pear shape that's widest at my thighs. The jacket is very wide at the bottom and hit me in the wrong spot -- I looked like a bell. Cute style, great fabric. Terrible fit for my body type.

Odd fit. snug through the body but flares out more than expected.

This is a super comfy, super cute/shapely jacket! I’m not a fan of a lapel collar, but I ironed the collar up and the lapel flat, so it wears/lays nicely. I refuse to buy suit jackets without spandex, so this cotton/knit fabric is a common go to jacket for me. It’s unique, which makes it worth the price - and I’ll heed the comments from others and dry clean to hopefully preserve the shape... I’ve only had it for a couple of months and worn it maybe half dozen times so far.

Loved it, but had to return it. The xs should have fit me perfectly, but I'd say this jacket runs 1 to 2 sizes larger. The arms are a bit too short on me as well. I'm 5"8 for reference and have long arms.

The fit and the size were fine, but the fabric is pretty thin, I returned it.

I have owned and loved NIC+ZOE jackets in the past--similar linerless knit jackets. For the price tag, this is not the quality I expect from them. The design/style was lovely as always, but the fabric is super light weight, which lent the jacket a cheap feeling and prevented it from draping well--you could tell it would only look worse over time, and for the price, I expect more from them.
