I bought three black ponte pencil skirts in hopes of finding one I liked for work and this was the winner (and the most expensive in the group). You can't tell in the pictures, but it's made up of panels (vertical and horizontal) that I found very flattering. I'm 5-4 and usually wear 12 or 14 skirts and dresses depending on the brand and style. The Large fit nicely. The ponte fabric is a nice weight and has a bit of stretch, though as I've found the downside with the fabric is it is a bit wrinkled and stretched at the end of the day. The elastic in the waist is thick and stiff so it holds it shape, but it's finished oddly. It's not sewn down on the bottom, so it kind of flaps on the inside. Didn't impact the fit or comfort the first time I wore it, in fact I didn't notice until I took it off. I don't know how it will hold up in the wash. It seems well made.

This is a great knit skirt. The fabric is a nice medium weight & can be dressed up or down. Washes like a dream. My only complaint...a little too long. I'm short & will shorten this skirt.

The fit is perfect, true to size. Professional and sophisticated style. Looks great with heels or flats or wedges- overall great classic wardrobe staple.

Stylish skirt and made with quality fabric. The weight of the fabric is very forgiving and the style and seams help to create a slimming effect. I ordered 4 different skirts and the other three didn't touch the quality, style or fit.

Great skirt! If Karen Kane fits you, it tends to fit well as does this skirt which is comfortable (has a little stretch, but material is thick enough that it looks good), flattering and has that classic look. It will certainly be a go to for me when I need to go into the office or go to meetings.

I needed a black pencil skirt for business meetings, and everyday use. This skirt is sleek, comfortable and pairs well with all my tops. The look can be professional, casual, or dressy depending on the top and accessories. The large fits me perfectly. Overall I like the material. Although it is a wee bit shiny, it is substantial, so that it stretches but does not cling. I looked at several different skirts, and I think this one is a winner. I wore it to a business party with a sparkly sweater and a cardigan.

Cheap fabric

Basic knit skirt with elastic waistband wit side panels and a two-part front panel. Fabric felt like polyester. Color didn't quite match the jacket of the same shade by the same company.
