These were the closest "affordable" pair of boots I could find to Weitzman's 5050. And I'm happy with them. I think they're a great alternative, given the difference in price points. I only have one complaint, which is after breaking them in I noticed they tend to slide down a bit, making them more knee high than OVT boots. (I'm 5'4" for reference) But for the look, genuine leather and price, I'll take it. And I'm not sure Weitzman's don't eventually do the same. Or any other pair for that matter. Oh, and I really did not like the sliver-tone stud at the top-side of the boot when I saw photos online and the video on this page. But when they came in the mail I was pleasantly surprised to find the stud was more of a hematite (dark grey) than silver-tone, so they're much more inconspicuous than they look online.

I love this boot, at first I wasn't sure about the fit.But, When I paired them with my leggings and skinny jeans, PREFECT! They are Super comfortable and just "bad to the bone" stylish. They are also a dead ringer for the 50/ 50 for less.The down side if you don't have wide calves you may have to pair with long socks if you chose to wear with skirt or short on bare legs, too give you that snug tight feeling?

These boots are beautiful, but I concur with many of the previous reviews. I ordered these because I (like many other adult women who no longer have super skinny teenager legs) wanted boots that had some stretch & wouldn't be so tight around my calves that I was uncomfortable. These boots were perfect for that (major kudos!). However, even though they are advertised as "medium width", they are extremely narrow in the foot region. They were even too narrow for my 12-year-old niece's foot (and she's tiny). I am disappointed because I really loved the look of this boot. Many of us also wear thicker winter socks with boots, which would be impossible with this particular boot. I also agree with many previous reviewers that a side zipper is needed, as they are super-difficult to get on-and-off without one. Bummer!

These seemed very narrow and too tall for my short legs~ the back of the boot went past my knee. So bummed bc they are really cute!

Honestly, I've been wearing this style of boots but by Stuart Weitzman and when I needed a new pair, these were not only just as classic, beautiful and comfortable. They were TTS and as a New Yorker they've managed to withstand so much more than a regular boot. Very pleased by the purchase (especially at the price - what a bargain!).

These do have a narrow footbed and I have a wide foot however I wore them all day at work without any issues. Lovely stylish boots rather than highly serviceable

These boots are super cute but I also ordered the Blondo Velma and decided to keep those and send these back. The Blondo were much more comfortable and I preferred the suede. These were very cute if you prefer the leather though. I have a wide foot so I found them a bit narrow for me but they would be fine for someone with a regular width.

These boots were really beautiful and at a reasonable price but I have a high instep and could not get them on without forcing them on. Then I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get them off without damaging them, so I opted to return them.

These boots are BEAUTIFUL! I tried on a pair of Stuart Weitzman 5050, but could not get over the outrageous price tag. These boots are an exact match. Beautiful and well Maden

Fabulous boots. Gorgeous! I have a very thin thigh and they are too wide for me. I am between an 8.5 and 9. I ordered up and got the 9. The 8.5 would have been better.

These are my second pair of 50/50 copies and I love them. My older pair had PU fronts and was not anywhere as beautiful and luxurious as these. I also had issues with the old pair bagging around my ankles and these are stiff enough that I do not think I will have that issue. I am rather tall (5'9") and these come well over my knees. I have a narrow foot and they fit comfortably. I am very pleased.

These are the best alternative I've found to Weitzman's 5050 boot (and I've looked). Just received yesterday and am very pleased with the quality of the leather, as well as the shape of the boot. This style is now everywhere, imitations abound as low as $50...but for the sleek foot, this is the best for the price. Cheaper styles tend to have a chunkier, less chic, shape. Anyway, recommend. Totally. Am between an 8 and 8.5. Ordered an 8.5 anticipating wearing thicker socks in fall/winter. And fit exactly liked I hoped. Just a little bit of extra room for socks, but can still be worn with just tights.

This boot is everything. By that I mean I can wear it with conservative work-appropriate outfits, sexy going out outfits, casual comfy outfits, and even classically sophisticated outfits. I just spent 15 minutes trying them on with different things before I began to realize that there were too many outfit options to go through them all. I really hesitated to buy these boots (they're not $500, but $160 is still a lot of money to me), but free shipping and returns sealed the deal for me. This pair is not going back. The fit is perfect, I'm a size 8 medium width. The foot bed is not what I would call comfortable (this is why I gave comfort 3 stars), but that's why there are $5 inserts you can buy at the pharmacy. And honestly, I just got them, so I can't speak to all day wear. Maybe they are fine. I will still probably buy an insert.

I am either a 6.5 or 7 depending on the brand (6.5 for sandals and strappy shoes, 7 for pumps and trainers) so was another one of those totally unlucky and didn't know about which size to get. However, I ended up getting and keeping 6.5 in brown and 7 in black because I love these boots! The 6.5 are probably my "perfect" size, but take a bit more effort to pull off than the 7. With the size 7, I can also have the option of wearing super thick socks on colder days. The 6.5 work great with stockings cause the nylons help you slip them off and on more easily.

I have long legs and these fit and look awesome! They do not slouch, they go straight up even though my calves are not as big as I wish they were. The leather is soft which makes them extremely comfortable. I tried these on after work, when my feet and calves are extremely fatigued and swollen, and they were still a relief. Also, they do not have a zipper but they are easy to slip on and take off because the back of the boot stretches. If you are looking for stylish yet comfortable over the knee boots, these are definitely them.

I love this boot! So comfortable, but also sexy with the close fit and over the knee height. Also...as usual for VC...the quality of the leather is great.

Bought them for my daughter. She says they run a bit small or maybe just needs time to stretch out. Overall for the price a good boot. She loves the style and that they come just of the knee. My daughter is 5’8 and wears a size 9 boot.

Very cute and stylish boots. I was looking for a dupe for the 5050 butes and these are it. They even fit over my athletic calves. Happy with the purchase.

I've been on the search for boots that fit tightly on my pencil legs (without spending over $500 for another brand). These are still baggy, but they're the closest I've come to meeting my goal. I'm 5'6 and they surprisingly come right above my knees. I haven't decided if I'm keeping them just yet, but I'm 99% sure I will.

I ordered these based on the reviews of everyone else, and everyone else was right! Love these boots, will for sure be my winter go tos for work.

I purchased three other pairs of boots (Luichiny Trend Lee - which are the ones I ended up keeping, Franco Sarto Motor, and Chinese Laundry Riley) along with these in hopes of finding the best replica of the 5050 for me. I am 5'6" and have slightly shorter legs (not enough where I wear short pants). These were the second runner up of the four for me. Quality leather and an overall good look. The main reasons I didn't end up keeping are 1) it bunched a little too much around the ankle, 2) They are pretty hard to get on since they do not have a side zipper. Things I loved were where they hit behind the knee, which was perfect for bending and walking and the front shaft was perfect in that it went just over my knee. They were also extremely comfortable, the most comfortable of the four boots and I'd probably say they are the closest match to the 5050 of the four.
