I love these shoes. Most barefoot shoes look goofy or un professional. These look like clean, cool shoes. You can run in them and use them for an all purpose shoe, but with great pants and a shirt they clean up nicely. Ideally I'd like a color somewhere in between the dark and the light, but I might just end up getting both to be satisfied. If you're looking for great barefoot shoes, get these.

I have had these for about a month or so, and I like them a lot. Comfortable and stylish. They seem versatile enough to me to be dressed down as street shoes or dressed up for office wear or nights out. My only complaint is that the shoelaces aren't holding up well. After a month of almost daily use, they are showing significant wear and tear.

This is my first pair of minimalist shoes, so I did not know what to expect. I love how flexible and lightweight they are, and they just look like regular shoes. I did have to get used to wearing something with such little cushioning, but now I hate wearing anything else. I am thinking about getting a pair of the black leather Ra 2s.

After wearing dress shoes at work all day, a friend of mine recommended the vivo barefoots to me. I did lost of research. I finally decided to buckle down and pay the price. I usually wear a size 13 or 47 European. But a few reviews said they are true to size until size 12, at which point you need to go up a size, this is not the case, a 14 fits like a 14. Now I just need to wait until someone gets a 13. Seems they're so popular everyone is sold out.

Bought these for my husband, who has wide feet, and usually ends up with a size larger shoe to take up the width. He runs in minimalist shoes, and I was guessing that the wider toe box of this minimalist style would be more comfortable for him. He loves them! He will use these for business/causal wear. So comfortable. The minimal sole has a bit of a different look, but his job does not require high fashion.

Very comfortable shoes. I applied some wax to make them water resistance. It had the added benefit of darkening the leather and I really like the way the darker brown looks. Not all of my dress pants are appropriately hemmed to wear these shoes, but they work great with jeans and khakis. I love the bigger toe box. It looks like a boot.

I took these on a trip to Morocco and they held up pretty well. The canvas surface needed a scrubbing when I came back - I was concerned at first that the dust and dirt might not come out - and they cleaned up well. Comfortable and definitely "zero drop." They're versatile and don't look all that much like a "barefoot" shoe.

I found these to solve a foot problem, sesamoiditis, that multiple doctors were unable to address in a long term manner. The barefoot approach makes a lot of sense to me and has been working for half a year.

I am a 43 in the Vivobarefoot Ra and a 44 in the Vivobarefoot Synth Hiker. I find that Vivobarefoot sizing is all over the place, but at least I have found my correct size in two of their shoes. I am a 42 in the old-school Vibram toe shoes. I am a size 10 in the Innov8 F-195s and a 10 in the Reebok Nano 3s. I have a weird arch issue that causes me pain when I wear shoes with inflexible soles. The Vivobarefoot Ra has a flexible, minimalist sole with a generous toe box. I have the Ra in six colors, and two pairs of the brown (one for work and one for home). The Ra is ok for "Business Casual" (e.g., khaki pants, dress shirt), but it is not a formal dress shoe. The black model is a little goofy looking (almost like a nurse's shoe), but I still have it. The very light grey Ra is incredibly sexy, and I have gotten a ton of compliments on it. The olive one also gets a lot of compliments. The navy is a nice solid shoe. You basically cannot go wrong with the Ra. They all look pretty good to great. I am very delicate with my shoes, and I have not had them for very long. I cannot comment on durability regarding scuffs and stitching.

I am very pleased with these shoes. The fit is excellent. The style is a little plainer than I expected, but given the great fit I would still highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a little dressier barefoot style shoe.

These shoes are great. I have a bad back and I need to stand a lot at work. Having "conventional" shoes with built up arch support and heal only made my back worse. Also Zappos support did a great job helping me with a return as the first size that I got was too large.

The shoes are true to size. They fit like a glove and are very comfortable. It's very difficult to find nice looking barefoot style shoes that can be worn in a professional setting. These fit the bill. I would buy them again.

These are the first pair of minimalist shoes I've purchased. Reasons: Wide Toe Box. Best I've found. Look, professional, but casual. Notes: Length, I'm normally a 13 4E but the 14 (48) ended up fitting better. Quality, I have not had the shoes for a long enough time to attest to their wear, but initial build quality looks good. I would purchase again.

Love these shoes! After a summer of wearing Vibram 5 fingers putting on a normal pair of work dress shoes is horrible. Vivobarefoot RA is the way to go for comfort and work great for business casual wear.

Love these shoes. The first pair of Vivobarefoot shoes takes some getting used to, but now I prefer them to normal shoes or sneakers. I am definitely going to get another pair in the future.

Good fit, very comfortable, great for an office setting. In larger sizes the wide toe box looks a little comical kind of like fancy clown shoes. For those of us who want a barefoot of minimalist shoe but need a "dressy" kind of shoe for work this is a great option.

The Ra's were exactly what I was looking for. I wear vibram five fingers, Luna sandals and Converse. The Ra's give me a minimalist footbed, yet a business casual look. I can't wait to try their running shoes when I need a new pair.

This is just a personal preference, I'm actually keeping the brown, but I have to say, I hate them. Not because there's anything wrong with them, but try as I might, I can not seem to get used to the "barefoot" style of shoe. Not for me. Quality of the shoe, however, is quite good.

They feel like they were made for my feet. In fact, the CEO of the company I work at asked if they were custom made for me. I absolutely love them.

Love these shoes, I just ordered a second pair (needed a brown pair). I work in corporate finance in TX, was looking for a minimalist shoe that I could wear with a suit to the office. The toe box and low top is fairly different from from my normal dress shoes, but these are the most "normal looking" and comfortable shoes that I could find at the time.

I purchased these several months ago to wear at the office. They go well with just about everything, jeans or khakis. They are comfortable but that is coming from someone that likes minimalist footwear. There is little to no arch support and you can definitely feel the ground beneath your feet. Overall and at salon purchase.

Great minimalist shoe. True to size and a bit wider than normal. Great feel and surprisingly well cushioned for such a thin sole.

Bought these for my son, they fit well and unlike most barefoot shoes on the outside they look similar to regular shoes, making them suitable for wearing to more places and events.

Most comfortable pair of shoes I own. They can look a little bright with some outfits, but it's summer, so who cares. The only detraction is that for some rubber and canvas, they're quite heftily priced. The toe-box in these is very wide, but that's part of the fit, and what makes them so very comfortable. Barefoot shoes are where it's at, for me anyway. I walk taller and feel better. These are my second pare of Vivobarefoot. I'll keep coming back.
