Nice slipper which I got to replace my old wool slippers that were my favorites. They’re as expected and fit a bit better with a sock so barefoot they are a bit clumsy. Super cute though! I’d order a half siz down if you want to wear them without socks.

Several comments for this slipper indicate that they run small. I feel the opposite. My experience with Acorn slippers is that they stretch, and do so fairly quickly. I wear a size 8 which would be a large in these slippers. I ordered a medium in the Dara and they're just fine, even with heavy socks. I also have a pair of the Acorn Forest Mule, and they have an amazingly thick, soft foot bed. The Acorn Dara does not have as much of a cushioned foot bed, but are still quite comfortable. There's no arch support, but I don't really expect that in a slipper.

Comfy and cute. Not nearly as thick a sole as the Acorn Forest Mule. Based on my experience with the way the Forest Mule stretched, I ordered a medium in the Acorn Dara. Good move. They stretched quickly. I'm a solid size 8 and the medium is perfect, even with thick socks. Many people complained about the acorn logo being right under the heel. Lots of slippers seem to put their logo under the heel. Doesn't bother me.

Warm. Comfy. Had slippers few times before. Wanted again but left slipper was wider this time. Disappointed to send back. Pay shipping cost when I wanted them. Size 8 to 9

Great slippers! What I like about these slippers is that they are light. I have UGG's ( ughhhh) they're so heavy. These are tight when you first put them on but stretch within a few days. There is absolutely no arch support. I order arch support inserts for these for walking comfort.

I ordered both the Acorn Dara and Acorn Talara in size large (8-9) and the Dara was a full size larger than the Talara. The Dara felt like there was more cushioning, however it was hard to tell because it didn't really fit... Kept the Talara. I normally wear size 8 shoe. Neither were as comfortable as the Sorrel slippers, but I detest crepe soles which pick up every bit of debris they come in contact with.

Attractive slippers, seemed well made, but the fit was a little narrower in the front than I liked. Returned them.

I've never heard of this brand before, but compared to others, this is a very durable slipper! I thought the wool would make my feet sweat, but it doesn't. It's comfortable, but doesn't have much arch support for me. I would buy this product again because it is comfortable and its a great slipper for indoors. I would recommend to my friends if they are looking for a durable warm slipper to wear around the house.

Very durable slipper with a great outer lining that is perfect to go indoor or outdoor!! This slipper also will be perfect the winter as I can tell it's going to be warm and cozy!! I think it will pair perfectly with a pair of cozy socks!!! This is a great quality slipper if you're looking for something that will last forever!

I really do like Acorn slippers, which I've worn for many years, for support, comfort and durability. They last for years. I just don't like the sizing. I wear a 9 or 9.5 with a slender low volume foot. I tried the XL which was much too large and too wide, so I ordered the Large. It's tight, a little small, but seems to be stretching enough that I think they'll be okay. The difference between the two sizes is just too great to give super comfort. TO ACORN: Please make more sizes so as to fit half-size feet. It's always a problem for the many Acorns I've tried. There's just too much difference between a L and XL Like more than a half inch.

In the catalog, the size descriptions are given in Sm, M, L, XL etc. In shoes, this is hard to guess. I guessed wrong and ended up with tight slippers. On the bottom of the slipper was a numerical size two sizes smaller than I would wear. Since I don't care for the partial upper on the heel anyway, I am planning a hack.

Very nice and just what I was looking for to wear around the house in the winter. Unfortunately they are going back due to sizing. I wear 7 1/2 to 8 so I got large and they are too big. I've tried the medium and those were too small.

Ordered big (XL) based on other reviews and shoes were too big. Shoes seem very wide. I wear a size 9 and I need a large. I liked the shoe.

I love these slippers--but they definitely run small. I've purchased many pairs of Acorn and loved them all.

Seems like a nicely made slipper. It's lined to protect your skin from the wool except at the band around the opening. It definitely runs small. I'm a fairly consistent 8.5 and the size 8-9 (large) puts my heel riding on the slight elevation at the heel opening. Other than the sizing issue, I really like the slipper.

Sole was a bit too stiff which caused the slipper's heel to NOT stay with my heel as I walked.

So, they fit really well when I first got them. Maybe even a big snug. But the longer I had them, the bigger they got. I've had two pair of this slipper and have loved them, but we warned that they don't last forever. They started falling apart after about 2 years, and both had wear spots on the red border relatively soon. All that said - I love them. But won't order a third time.

I bought these 4 months ago. I wore out my old pair after 5 years and I expected to be able to do the same with my new pair. Although they're constructed just as sturdily as my old pair, the foot bed isn't anywhere near as thick as my old pair. They feel flat and worn after just a few months. A big disappointment.I love Acorn slippers, and this style in particular, but will have to consider other styles in the future.
