I ordered my Chucks last night; it was FREE shipping and was set to arrive in 4-5 business days. Not bad, considering the shipping was free. To my surprise, I got them today. I love you Zappos! As far as the Chucks go, I love them. Just remember these are not shoes to be standing in all day. They have no arch support, but they look cool. :-)

Can't beat Chuck - I'm slightly addicted to Converse Chuck Taylors. They're a classic for both men and women. It drives me crazy that they're not all offered whole and half sizes. Luckily, the sizing is true enough that either a 9 or a 9.5 (women's) fits. I normally wear a 9.5 and would prefer that in the Chucks, but a 9 is comfortable. Normally, I wear SmartWool socks for extra cushion and that thickness works in both sizes for me. Many people feel these shoes just don't have enough support. I wouldn't say they have "none," but I'm not sure moderate is accurate either. They have some arch support and with the right socks they're adequate for many different activities. I wouldn't exercise in them. I've worn these to walk the pavement in NYC, to climb the streets of San Fran, and to navigate the snow and ice of Minnesota. They hold up fine for all of this and don't wear my feet out too fast. By comparison, my Saucony Originals (Bullet) offer less support and quickly tire out my feet. I wear these less in the winter than in the summer, but come spring/summer/fall these are my go-to shoes.

Always cool! I have bought Chucks on Zappos for myself and my guy. They always look great, in all the many colors offered (not so sure about the patterned ones, though...). I think the only drawback to these shoes is that they are almost completely flat inside, so there is very little arch support and cushioning. I wear my insoles with them so my plantar fasciitis doesn't flare up too much. Awesome classic look!

I love my Chucks! I am really enjoying my shoes! They are pretty comfortable and easy to wear. The only downside is that they don't come in half sizes. A size 5 1/2 would be perfect. I went with the larger size 6 and they are a little roomy, but still feel okay.

Great shoe!!! I love Chucks...though I wish they had better arch support (they have none), they are comfortable and cute!

Pretty Good - I got a size 6 (which is my size) and it was about one size to big, so I got a 5 and it was too small. I don't really recommend unless you've had Converse before.

Cute and Casual - I normally wear a size 7.5 women’s and ordered these shoes in a men’s 5. It's the right fit. The charcoal color is more versatile than the black. Very cute.

Very cute and comfy. But they make your feet feel very hot. Other than that, they’re great.

Awesome Results - I am very much pleased with my purchase from Zappos. I ordered a pair of low-top Converse and the shipping was sooooo fast. I chose standard shipping and they arrived the following day - almost less than 24 hours! I definitely recommend making purchases from Zappos. Trust me, you won't be let down.

A timeless shoe - I love these shoes, the look, the colors, and you can wear them with just about anything. A very cool and timeless style.

A CLASSSIC - but falls apart - These look the same as they have for the past 35 years. The only problem is that they tend to fall apart - in inner sole comes un-glued, the rubber around the base of the shoe comes apart & the canvas rips or get holes in it. Not really a problem from a cheap shoe - but as these get more expensive it makes these not such a good value.

Looks good but not for long walks - These hurt my feet after about 5 hours of standing due to the lack of arch support; however, these look so amazing I wear them all the time. ;)

Cute, but need some help with comfort - These shoes are very cute, but they feel like you are walking on a piece of cardboard. However, I bought a cushion-y insole at Target for $10 that made the shoes very comfy -- and now the feel as great as they look!

Hip and sorta comfy shoe - These definitely run big- at least a half size. They are very cute on, though! Also, do not buy these for your comfy everyday shoes if you want pure comfort- they are your basic low support Converse. Great for occasional kicking around in...And looking cool.

Very good looking shoe but no arch support - The shoe is very good looking. It is a full size larger than the size marked and runs narrow.

You can never go wrong with a classic!!! This classic shoe is still one of my favorites. When first wearing them I got blisters on my heels (like usual) but after the initial wear they were easily broken in. They are 1/2 size larger than I normally wear but they always are.

A classic shoe that goes with anything casual. Order at least a half size smaller than you normally would, if not a full size. I'm a 12 and ordered 11's. They fit perfectly. Not the best shoe for walking all day as there's little padding and no arch support. Zappos continues to impress with their unmatched customer service and shipping times!

St. Patty's Day - I love that they have these shoes in Kelly Green - I got them just in time for St. Patty's day. I've been looking for a pair like them for a couple of years now. Unfortunately it was too cold/snowy/slushy to wear them but the few times I have gotten to wear them they've been very comfortable and actually absorb more shock on my knees than most shoes.

Left shoe dark brown, right shoe light brown - I purchased these shoes for my daughter. I was disappointed because they arrived two completely different shades of brown. One was deep, chocolate brown and the other was about two shades lighter. I don't know if the color variation was a factory defect or what. My daughter had already worn the shoes for a day before I noticed the problem so I didn't bother to return them.

Everyone loves All Stars! There is no arch support in Converse, but we all knew that long ago. Just insert your own and take your feet out to show off the coolest shoes! Everyone notices them and the brown is one of the best new colors

A classic for style, not comfort - Hey, you're not buying these for arch support, are you? You're buying them for the easy style that has made them famous. And they are adorable. Their foibles: a little pinchy in the toe, apt to get smelly, ZERO cushioning or support (I recommend an insert of some kind). Virtues: cute, classic, did I mention cute?

Fits well, but needs a bit of wearing-in - These shoes should be great for walking around, and they're very trendy right now. However, after wearing mine for a few days in a row, my pinkie toe started getting rubbed the wrong way. I'm sure I'll love them after I've worn them in a bit. I got the size that Zappos recommended, and it's perfect.

Classic - Although Chucks have poor support, and your feet will kill after walking around on them for 10 straight hours, they are as classic looking as ever, and your feet will look cool (after the white parts get a little dirty). A good nickname: Converse Hardsocks. I still love them.

Just what I wanted! I looked everywhere for these sneakers and no one had them. Zappos had them and I was wearing them before the week was over. They match everything and I get lots of compliments on them.

Converse All Star Ox-Seasonal - It has been several years since I've owned a pair of Chucks and I definitely do not remember the sizing being so difficult. I swear I used to wear a man's 5/women's 7 but I was drowning in those! I ordered a full size down- men's 4, women's 6 and those still felt a little big, but probably how they are supposed to feel as they have more toe room than the shoes I am used to wearing. At first they were not as comfy as I remembered either, but the break in period is fast and pain free and now they're great. I can't wait to really wear them in!! I got them in gray and am loving them.
