These are great all purpose sneakers that work with shorts, jeans or khaki's and are an American classic. They don't offer a lot of support so if you have problem feet they aren't good shoes for walking long distances. For the price work great. These run large and I order a half size smaller than I usually wear.

I have weird sized feet, 10.5 wide, so buying shoes is always one of those things that's a bit difficult for me. Up until recently I only owned High Tops, but recently I was looking for something that I could just slip on. My first stop is some CT Ox, and I can say I like it. I bought a 10 and they fit pretty good. As other reviewers say they will fit a bit long but the width is spot on for me. Realize these are Chucks so that means they have horrible insoles, so if you decide to put insoles in these be aware they might fit a bit to tight and you should try to go up a half size. A full size jump will be too big. Otherwise completely satisfied with my purchase.

Great looking show, but definitely larger than standard size. I am a size 12 man's so I ordered a size 11 and they are still a little large on me. Definitely buy a size down fro what you usually wear.

After two years with my previous Chucks, it was high-time for another pair. They tend to get ratty quickly. This pair came with a few scuff marks on the white toe, but a little rubbing alcohol took care of that right away. Nothing looks more classic than a pair of Chucks and jeans. I love them for their look! Beware, however, that as cute as they are, they are not the most comfortable trainers that I have ever worn and they may not be great for people who need arch support. I usually wear a 7½ or 8. These I wear in a 7.

A casual-wear classic day-in and day-out. For anyone who hasn't had Chucks before, they tend to be narrow, and they aren't exactly built for comfort (think a canvas sock with a rubber sole). Also, despite their origins, I highly recommend you do no form of exercise in them.

Came on time. Had tissue paper like thing glued to the top of the shoe, but was okay after cleaning it. Overall, good condition.

You cannot beat the look of Converse. These shoes look good with just about everything. I spent months looking for green shoes, and never found anything that could compete with these. That being said, they are not perfect. They are very narrow. If you ever need a shoe marked wide I would not recommend these. Basically, they are designed for people with long, narrow feet. Mine squish my toes a good deal, but they are so cute that I am going to try to put up with it.

I enjoy my Chuck Taylor All-Star Sneakers. I purchased the charcoal colored pair. For extra support I bought some Dr. Scholl's for my arches & balls of my feet.

I'm normally an 11 and I got a 10 and it still feels slightly big. They look great but press up against my little toe, so my feet do hurt a bit by the end of the day. Buying a cheap cut-to-fit air foam cushion helped a lot.

Love these. I really appreciate the size of the toe area which gives those digits room to wiggle. Jack Purcell's, which I also love are more confining in the toe area, and I find myself reaching for these more often.

Takes a few wears before they are comfortable. Need to wear in a bit first. Pretty straightforward shoe, a classic.

I wear mans size 11 and ordered a 10. Seemed to fit very well but there are some spots that rub just enough on my little toe. 10 1/2 might have been too big though. Kept them. Just don't wear them for lots of walking.

Love the shoes, but needed to send back and get one size smaller than I usually wear. Zappos makes this incredibly easy.

A classic! Iconic Chuck Taylor All-Stars are always in style and welcome most everywhere. Cool, comfortable cotton canvas uppers in a wide variety of colors. Well made, reasonably priced. Bought a new pair in charcoal. Look great and go with just about everything.

Great color! The gray is absolutely adorable. Way too big. Order two sizes down. I wish they made half sizes in this color. :(

This is a classic, classic shoe. If you had to point to one, primal American leisure shoe this is it. That said, it has some idiosyncrasies. There are two main ones. The fit is large. I normally wear a size 12. With this shoe, I wear an 11. A size 12 feels like clown shoes on me. There is a thin, flat cushion of rubber for an insole. There is virtually no arch support whatsoever. You might slip in a Superfeet liner, but that will make the fit very tight and the heel slip. No, this shoe is what it is. If you can take the lack of support (or wait a few months until a tiny bit of curvature develops in the insole), you're fine. Otherwise, spend a little more on a more structured shoe.

I really like these shoes. They are bright just as pictured and run large as other reviewers had commented. I would order 1- 1-1/2 sizes smaller.

I found this shoe to run a little on the large side so I had to go down a size (perhaps because the woman's size is a conversion of the man's size). As usual, Zappos customer service was second to none. Obviously, being a retro shoe, it is not the most comfortable right out of the box but I also have a wide foot.

I got these shoes for the style, and I wasn't expecting a lot in comfort. The thick soles with no arch support just don't treat my feet very well. Notably, the shoes are really cool, which I'm looking forward to in the summer.

I normally wear a size 7.5, but in Chuck's, I need a size 7 (woman's) as they tend to run a bit big. These fit fine, but the color green shown in the picture isn't the true color. The actual color of green is very kelly green, like St. Patrick's Day green. I returned mine because I was looking for a more muted green. Zappos was wonderful to work with, as always.

Typical Converse - in a good way. Fit is great. I'm an old guy but they look super cool. I'm planning on buying another pair in another color soon.

For the price, this is a pretty good shoe - no arch support, and not the most comfortable shoe in the world, but that's what you expect from a sneaker. I ordered a size smaller than what I usually wear. The glue between the sole and canvas at the ball of the foot (where the shoe flexes when you take a step) has already let go after about a month. The tongues have a tendency to wrinkle as the laces tighten, which is annoying. I might order another pair in the future, just because they're so cheap.

I was so glad that I purchased my shoes from Zappos. I needed these shoes in a very short time and they were delivered even before I expected them. The only thing I would say is that the size ended up being too big. That may just be the ways Chucks run.
