I love packing cubes in general but with these I was able to fit my entire wardrobe for my week long trip into 1 compression cube. They save so much space, I wouldn't travel without them.

Used in backpack and colored coded to identify contents. Worked well first time. Bought more for extended trips.

The product comes bundled, so that if you want the cube, you also get the half-cube. The first is what I wanted, because it fits fairly efficiently into the compartment of my Tarmac AWD 22 (as shown in the diagram that EC provides for its Pack-It system). The half-cube I haven't figured out what to do with. Not sure what I would compress in it, and the size doesn't seem to work well with other Pack-It components, given the size of the luggage. If I could have just bought the full cube, I probably would have gotten two. But I didn't want to pay to get two half-sizes that I don't need, so I just bought the one.
I do think the quality is good, I like the lightweight material, and the compression feature. I agree with other reviewers who say that it would be better if the compartment zipper opened further. I also think it would be helpful if the two zippers were more easily distinguished.

I wish the zipper went totally around the bag for easier packing. The bags compress beautifully - I just returned from a five day trip with extreme weather conditions (-15 to 85). I was able to get all my clothing into the compact bags (I have three sets). The clothes did not wrinkle, bags easily identifiable to what items were in each of the bags. The bags packed nicely in a small carry on piece of luggage.

I went to Europe on a weeklong trip. These help me find everything easilyAnd made for good padding around delicate items. I only wish that the zippers worked a little better, And that it opened completely. Otherwise, These are a great travel accessory.

I have always used Eagle Creek's packing cubes, tubes and garment folders even in other brands of suitcases. I purchased the Eagle Creek No Matter What Flatbed Duffel 28 in Cobalt color. I also ordered all of the packing cubes, folders etc. that are recommended for that duffel. While the Specter Pack-It cubes do compress and carry more, I believe the regular Pack-It line is better if you are trying to following the packing tips for an Eagle Creek suitcase or duffel. I do not have to have everything match, but the Specter line comes in colors that do not match the colors of the other lines offered by Eagle Creek; therefore, slightly annoying if you're trying to coordinate your pieces, or, assign a color to family members so to speak. Still great quality and superior to copycat brands.

Zipper ties snapped off on first use on one bag and on second use on two other bags leading me to the conclusion that the design/production of zipper ties is faulty.

I am traveling to Iceland and was looking for a compression cube that would help me pack tightly. I like these cubes and they work well except for the compression side. I packed them full, which is what I'd expect to do, but they were so difficult to close. The zippers would get stuck on the fabric and would not close without a fight. I'll use them as regular cubes, without the compression feature.

I would stick with the regular bags. The opening is very small and inconvenient and J have not benefited from the compression. The traditional shape with full zipper opening is your best option. If you wear a lot of tech or synthetic fibers you may find that the compression works for you. My clothing is mainly cotton and does not benefit from the compression option. I wish I had chosen a different design. The fabric and construction of the bag is good.

I loved it for the first time i used it to pack my things out. Packing up again to return home with the exact same amount of clothing in it, the zipper broke and now the bag will seal but no longer compress. I balled it up and tossed it as a $40 lesson on what not to try again. back to the regular awesome, non compression packing cubes, it is for me.

The first time I used the compression packing bag, the material around the compression zipper shredded making it impossible to compress. Had I wanted regular packing bags, I would have purchased them. I am disappointed as these were listed as the best in several sources I reviewed prior to making this purchase.

I used this product a maximum of five times before the zippers broke. The product is a good idea, but is low quality. I tried to contact eagle creek about warranty repair or replacement but they will not assist me since I am an international customer.
