This is an adorable jacket. I got it in 4T for my 34 pound 3.5 year old son. He fit into it very well (wearing a long sleeve T under it), with about an inch of the sleeves of the jacket cuffed up. He loves the design and wanted to wear this and the matching boots and the corresponding umbrella, all around the house when it arrived. However, we will have to send it back. The hood is not deep enough to cover his head! Yes, his head is a little large, but we sized up to a 4T instead of a 3T. The frog face on top of the hood does not come all the way to his forehead. It stops a few inches short of his forehead so a few inches of the top of his hair is exposed, which will not be helpful in the rain. Kind of defeats the purpose of a raincoat. He still wears his size 3T Kamik brand raincoat (campground pattern) which is very nice and still fits him just fine, including the hood. We decided to get this froggy set since Kamik doesn't seem to be making jackets anymore and it was time to size up in boots. By the way, I liked that the Kamik had some reflective strips on it and seemed a little better quality, but this froggy jacket from Western Chiefs is still okay. My son loves the design so much, it's a shame we have to return it.
