I bought this for my middle school son. The bag lools really nice and the wheels are smooth. The biggest disappointment is that this is not a good school bag. It sags in the front. The sides are too weak to support the weight on the front pockets (and we only place a few pens and pencils, nothing heavy). Also the inside does not have any sleeves or support to separate school stuff like binders and books. The bag is more like a duffle bag with nice wheels. We bought instead a second bag - I'm still trying to figure out how to return the 1 week used bag. The Sierra freewheel and that works great.

The handle is somewhat flimsy. There isn't a way to attach this bag to your suitcase.

I bought this for my son after watching him lug his heavy books to school for two weeks. We've had this bag for about a month. At first, it was wonderful. Now, the wheels have gone wonky. It's pretty unfortunate because the bag is heavy to start with, so although he could carry it with the straps instead of wheeling it around, it will be even heavier than the backpack we actually replaced. The bag has many compartments and is of exceptional quality, but the wheels are not made for everyday use. It is a shame.

My plan was to take as my carry on for a trip with my grandchildren allowing me to have my hands free to help with the children and easy mobilty if on the ground with the 360 wheels. BUT the 360 wheels are very stiff and it is difficult to roll even on a tile floor much less in an airport with grandchildren through parking ramps, etc. The shoulder straps were easily accessible due to a velcro attached opening in back. The top handle on the actual back pack was attached to the front material of the backback not the back part with more layers and I was concerned it would not support the weight when trying to lift it to put it up in the plane overhead compartment. So I returned it. Samsonite did not have an enclosed return shipping label so I did have to pay I think $22 to return it.

I've used this bag for about 3 weeks now and it was great for about a week. Now he front sags far down that it falls over and it is difficult to use it as a spinner. The body is not stable, has no support for contents, and the laptop slot being at the back makes it the most unsafe place to store it. You can not lay the backpack in it's back, which I have to so it doesn't fall over, because the weight of everything else ends up sitting on the laptop. I bought this to use for books while going to school and I really wish I had bought something else. The pockets are also impractical. I am disappointed because our family buys Samsonite products often.

Dear Samsonite - I travel every week, domestic and international. Purchased this spinner backpack since (1) I love Samsonite luggage and have a lot of it, and (2) thought it would be much more convenient around airports to wheel my backpack around which can be heavy at times. What a disappointment. This dinner backpack is so hard to control as it just wants to travel in its own directions. The single pole handle is flimsy and useless at directing the bag's travel. DONT PURCHSE THIS SPINNER BACKPACK. If you want one with wheels, buy the one with 2 inline wheels, not the spinner model. Regretting this purchase. Likely it will be an ornament since Samsonite won't return nor exchange it. Wasted purchase :-(

the bag constantly wants to fall forward when packed. Items are placed in correct spots still wants to fall. I like that it has a pocket for the laptop but that still doesn't provide enough structure to keep upright.

For year I purchased this brand in the past but this is the first time I am very disappointed and I advise consumers to choose a different one because this one will be a bad choice! It bends forward, zipper get cut in the pockets. Wheels are very poor quality as well as the handle.

Bought this product for my 8th grade son to use for school. Figured it was a Samsonite and expected it to be high quality in despite os the bad reviews that I read. Was deeply disturbed to realize the quality is just not up to Samsonite standards. The bag leans forward even without books in it. The bag will not sit straight up and is very hard to use as a rolling backpack. I've contacted the seller and they sent me to an authorized repair store, which is impossible to contact. For the price we pay for high quality product to receive such an inferior product.

The tag on the bag has the same picture online. The bag it self is totally different. Very disappointed to get it shipped half way around the world to get a cheap looking bag.

This product is best used as a day trip bag and not as a school backpack. I purchased the Samsonite 4 Wheeled Spinner Backpack for my school age child to use to carry school supplies such as a binder and books. After using the bag for three days, the bag began to lean forward at an angle as if it could tip over and the material began to sag down towards the wheels. When the bag is being pulled on two wheels the material sags toward the wheels and will probably begin to rub against the wheels in due time. I initially purchased a $25, 2-wheeled backpack to carry the school supplies but was dissatified with the sturdiness (leaned forward and material sagged), so I decided to invest in a good product (Samsonite 4-wheels) thinking it would be better and it was not.
