I did major research for the right boots for our little guy with wide feet. While these for great and were stylish and cute, the quality was atrocious. They even didn't last through one season and after maybe 10 wears, the rubber cracked in multiple places, making them the opposite of waterproof. The rubber handle also broke off. We were disappointed.

This is our 3rd set of Hatley rain boots. My boys love them. They have great designs and keep my kids dry in our rainy climate. They do run a little large so we order a size 6 when my boys wear a 6.5-7.5, then we order size 7 for 7.5-8.5, etc. My oldest is able to pass them down to my second, but I don't expect them to last beyond 2 boys. Today I'm looking to order a 4th pair for my growing son!

Great boots. I bought these as a replacement for our sons Western Chief boots (that only lasted a few months). He's only 3 but wants to wear these boots everywhere. They slide on super easy. He always puts them on before heading outside to play. We've had them about 2 months and they're holding up great. Quality seems excellent. They are very sturdy and better constructed than his old ones (that cracked and had the pull break off). Hoping these last because they are super cute on! Everyone always comments on his boots! Love the shipping on Zappos...always super fast.

Our 17 month old tried these adorable boots on once, splashed around in a few puddles, and had a blast. His feet were warm, and socks were dry after he kicked them off. He grows so fast but hopefully this will get him through the "El Niño." I will make an update after a few uses.

Kid loved the boots. We also love the boots. Nice quality. True to size - some people wrote that they run a little bigger, so I bought size 11 since my kid is somewhere between size 11 and 12. Size 11 seemed okay, but I could feel his toes right at the edge of the front of the boot. Replacing them for 12.

My 3 year old grandson's eyes lit up when he opened the box with his new boots. He wore them for a week (even to church) even though the rain stopped after the first day and the mud puddles lasted only another day. He is one very happy little boy. And I only had to order online, not drive the 165 miles to the nearest mall/shoe store. So nice.

Wether my boy is helping on the farm or playing in tide pools, he never mentions his feet slowing him down. That is the sign of a good shoe/boot, in my opinion. And they seem well made, as well. I'd buy Hatley boots again, for sure.

These boots look really cute and they've held up through a handful of rainy and very muddy play days so far this spring. They do seem to run a bit big, but I didn't want to buy my daughter's current size, so I ordered the size she is going to grow into anyway. It's a bit hard to tell if they are perhaps a half size larger than marked or a full size up. Even large, though, she really hasn't had any trouble clomping around in them in puddles. She loves them!

Best boots ever. My 3 year old son loves them! And best part is he can put them on all by himself.

Bought these rain boots for my 2-1/2 yr old granddaughter for Christmas; she wore them all day, with her pj's, etc.; very easy to put on due to the handles; she loves them.

These are great boots. They are comfortable and flexible on my young son's feet. They are easy to pull on with loops. The bottom is stiff in a good way.

I ordered these as part of a Halloween costume for my son. He LOVED them and didn't want to take them off. However, after walking in them for a while he did complain that they started to pinch him.

These are the most precious little boots ever! I had to order plain rain boots, because the little man didn't want the Batman ones we saw in the store, and his rain jacket is not a bright safe color, so I figured I'd stick him in some bright yellow boots to make up for it. He loves them and wore them all over the house after they arrived. Fit was great, I measured them via the chart provided and ordered the next size up so he could grow into them. He also has wide feet that usually do well in Crocs, just not in all shoes.

Great boots! I bought these for my 4 year-old son. He is able to get them on and off by himself. I ordered a little big for growing room, but he has no problems. He has worn them all day long several times. He says they are comfy!

My girls have gone through several pairs of these Hatley rain boots and matching coats. The boots are very cute, and the little loops make it easier for them to pull on by themselves. However, the quality of the boots is not amazing -- on every pair we've had, one of the loops has broken and the boots themselves have cracked long before each daughter has outgrown the boots or matching coat. At this price point, I suppose this isn't shocking, but disappointing nonetheless.

Bought the size up as my son has wide feet. These are run big so have to return and by the size smaller. The handle on the boot is coming off right out of the box though. Hope the next pair will be better.

These seem to be good quality. They're quite flexible and the handles are great. They seem to run on the larger side and are wide.

Although very appealing, visually, these were too difficult for my toddler to move around in. It may have to do with the stiff boot or the heel. Either way, I ended up returning these and buying a pair of Bogs. I am so glad that I made this decision.

These are cute boots but the handle broke the very first time he wore them. They also are big enough that they fall off of his feet while I am carrying him. They are going back. We have a similar pair for my older son that are doing much better. Maybe this pair was just a fluke.
