Eh, these did not fit my feet so well. My feet are on the thin side and it felt like they were rolling around inside these slippers. I like the red color though.

I wear a 7.5. Second pair I'm returning because they slip right off my feet. Maybe they're also too wide? Pretty bummed because I love these!

We learned from purchasing the first pair that sizes are not true. However my husband adores these slippers. Comfortable. Sturdy. Classy. After two or three years of daily use the first pair wore out. We now have his second pair and hope they continue to make these fabulous slippers.

I love Haflinger shoes and slippers but had to return these, as I tried 2 different sizes and neither was that comfortable. I WANTED them to be, because I love the wool felt and the look. Also, I felt like I was leaning backwards in these (an odd feeling). Just not right. Disappointed, but I will find something else on Zappos, to be sure!

Warm and comfortable, but the stitching came apart on the R toe.

I had been planning on buying wool slippers with some sort of back on them for about a year, and these were at the top of my list. I liked the sole and the color. Ultimately, these were OK, but I didn't like the snug feeling with the insole inserted. It had a lot of support, but that's not what I usually look for in a slipper. When I removed the insole, it felt too loose. Instead I opted for a pair of Glerups, Model A. No insole, but a better fit with and without socks.

Very little arch support. Support only just behind the ball of the foot. No support under actual arch of foot.

I am an 8. I ordered a 7 based on reviews and would need a 6½! These run long and large!

I love the look of these--exactly what I am looking for but too painful to wear. I normally wear a size 44 and I ordered a 44. The length is perfect but the toe box is too shallow and narrow. Other reviews that said they run large; I had exactly the opposite experience. Seems to me Haflinger needs to invest in quality control.

To borrow an over-used expression: I really wanted to like these slippers! I had very high hopes: the style is excellent, the material is ideal and the price, while daunting considering they're house shoes, told me the quality would be high. I can say without reservation that these are high-quality slippers (whether the price is justified is something the individual must decide). And I love the style: for whatever reason, men's slippers are universally designed to be large and ungainly in appearance, whereas these are sleek and minimal, like driving loafers. And the material -- boiled wool -- is outstanding. Very comfortable and warm (but not too warm), and the breathable properties of wool will surely help prevent the foul odor that seems to develop with house slippers. For me, there were two problems that made the slippers unworkable: size and comfort. I typically wear 11m, although it fluctuates by a half-size either way. So I ordered both the 43 and 44, figuring one or the other would fit. The 43 was too snug in terms of length (even with the insole removed), though the width was perfect. The 44 was about right in terms of length, but way too wide (causing it to slip off my foot when walking). I tried a thicker insole in the 44, though that made the fit in the toe box too snug. It's possible the 43 would stretch with wear, or the 44 would somehow conform to my foot over time, but at this price I didn't want to take the gamble. The other problem is general comfort. The insoles just did not work for me. They somehow caused my ankles to pronate, making it mildly painful to walk. I tried a couple of different insoles in these slippers: more comfortable, but too thick. I considered going out to buy thinner insoles, but then I realized this is way too much trouble for a pair of house slippers. So, they went back, and my search continues. That said, if you're in the market for wool slippers that have some style, I think these are definitely worth a try. From what I can tell from other reviews, they work well for many people...just not me.

I absolutely adore the look of this shoe/slipper. I bought them with the intention of wearing them as shoes. I've had a pair of the Haflinger Fletchers and 2 pairs of their clogs for years and I absolutely adore all of them. My foot is wide and I do have a high arch, but the Fletchers worked for me (after a bit of stretching out, admittedly) so I had high hopes for the moccasin. Like many others have posted, they run very long (my daughter who is a size 10 was able to put her foot into the 38), but when I ordered a size down, I found the shoe to be so narrow it was painful. This shoe is adorable and I am so disappointed about its sizing. On a positive note, the wool is beautiful, the insole is cushy and supportive (and removable!) and these shoes appear to be very well made. For whatever reason, Haflinger just went way wrong with sizing on this one. I'd recommend this shoe for people with average to narrow feet as long as they size down at least 1 size. (My other Haflinger shoes are a 38 and I could have easily worn a 36 in this one - length wise.)

Great style but overpriced and odd insole support. There is little support under the heel and noticeably thicker support under the forefoot, the metatarsals. This makes for an odd toes-up walking feel. Not much proprioception to the floor (ground feel). Insoles are removable, but I'd rather not pay for more on top of the steep price tag.

Geez, for the price, the sizing on these shouldn't be so far off. The insert also makes foot feel squeezed at the top. I normally wear a EURO40 and went with a 38 here (7 US) based on other reviews. How wacky is that -- and still off.

I ended up returning them. I have wide feet and have owned several pairs of haflinger slippers. The length was fine but I had to squeeze them on to get my feet into them and they were not near the comfort that I am used to with haflinger when it comes to arch support and width

This slipper was not comfortable enough to justify the high price. It ran small and narrow. My search continues!

Other reviews noting the size peculiarities are correct. I ordered a full size down from my normal size, and they were still plenty long enough. They are also extremely narrow. I do not have particularly wide feet, this has never been an issue with other footwear. But the narrow proportion causes the seam to rub on my great toe "knuckle" and it's never uncomfortable. I'm sending these back.

Was very disappointed in this. Felt had little arch support compared to the Hard sole slippers I wear all the time. Was hoping this would be similar but look more like a shoe. I had plantar fasciatis and wear the Haflinger AT Classic Hard sole slippers all the time in my house to support my arch. Also had read reviews saying to order down which I did so it fit that way but does run big and felt wider than normal too.

This is a MAN'S slipper. To market it as also for women is misleading. The fit is HUGE --- way too wide and sloppy to be worn by a woman with narrower feet than a man.

Tight, not good for high arches. I purchased these hoping for good arch support- the insole is flimsy and unsupportive. I thought I could use orthotic inserts, but the slipper is way too tight. I was almost able to persuade myself these weren't painful by wearing them without the insole they came with- but they're painful, tight across the top, and do nothing as far as arch or foot support. They are VERY cute, but they're unwearable for me. I have narrow feet with high insteps. I wear a womens 12 and ordered the 43- the length was fine if I was planning to wear socks.

Love the boiled wool material, but after less than 6 months of use the thin rubber soles are wearing through at the heals and completely peeling off the bottom of the slippers. I would expect much better quality and longevity at this price! I would suggest looking elsewhere.

These slippers were amazing for the first month that I had them. Then the sole started to separate from the shoe at the toe. over the course of six months they continued to separate with moderate wear and are now a tripping hazard. Sure they look great, but are useless after 6 months. Too expensive to be disposable.

I want to like them but they do not fit properly, even if I exchanged for a smaller size. The slipper is way too long and wide and I am a true 7.5. Bummer because they are excellent quality (compared to my two year old Uggs that I have worn out) and are exactly what I was looking for in a hard-sole slipper.
