This boot is very stylish and fits well and comfortably, but it looses a star due to the image color. The tan leather shown is much darker than what the boot actually is. The boot is closer to a khaki, not the medium brown shown. I returned this shoe and replaced it with the dark brown color and am very happy.

They look slightly lighter in reality than they do in the photo, but they still look awesome! The sole is kind of flat and awkward, but it does have a lot of padding so that helps.

My only complaint about this shoe is that the color is less 'grey leather' and more 'muddled dark brown' than I gathered from the picture. Still comfortable, fits my podiatrist-required orthotics [thicker than most] and took only a full work day to break in. Very comfortable, great style for the price. Looking forward to buying another pair in a different color. Overall, very happy with this shoe.

I very much liked the light tan color and the style. It was very comfortable, but the quality of the leather and the workmanship was not the same as in Clarks or Rockport.

Pros: They are great looking shoes and a solid option for the price point. Cons: They are not very comfortable and can give you blisters if you plan on wearing these shoes while walking long distances. The quality isn’t great and they do lose their color/stain quite easily. I would assume that’s expected if you’re only paying $80 for dress shoes.

From the pictures, I thought they were going to be shiny. They are more of a suede look. They are okay. I just hope nobody spills a drink on them at the bar or they will be trash.

I have had them for over a year & have worn them year round just not quite enough room for the tops of my 2nd toe & it gets to you by the afternoon of a typical work day!

This shoe definitely looks a lot better online than it does in person. Not worth the price for the quality of the materials/leather.

Sole and heal of boot was notably thinner in comparison to a pair of Frye which I have worn for years.

Great shoes. Fits well and comfortable but one of the eye holes for the laces began tearing within a few weeks of wearing them will be returning.

Great looking shoe, but very tight. Toes got squished and the shoe opening is very small, making it extremely difficult to even get the shoe on. It's a shame because the color and look of the shoe are very great/

This is my second pair of Steve Madden Hestonn shoes. The first pair I bought 2 years ago and absolutely LOVED them, so I had to buy a second. Although the second pair is just as stylish and comfortable as the first, this pair has an extremely strong chemical odor. Not a leather odor - a chemical odor. I thought it would disappear once out of the box to air out, but not yet. As much as I love this brand/style of shoe, I would have returned them because of the smell had I not worn them to work today. I literally can smell them sitting at my desk right now!

Pretty nice style but very poor quality leather. Arrived with scratches in the leather. Tried them on and a big crease developed on the side of the shoe. Definitely returning.

I highly recommend investing a bit more for a quality brand like Clarks. Like many Steve Madden men’s shoes, the product feels and looks cheap. After a month of wear, the poor quality becomes more apparent.

Nice looking shoe, but very cheaply made. Leather immediately creased when removed from box. Could be nice, but worth the extra money for a better shoe.

The shoe looks stylish, but only until you wear it. The creases in the leather after the first use are so much lighter than the stain that it's clear, even from a distance, just how cheaply this shoe has been made. I would not recommend it.
