As a female wearing 10.5 US women's, looking at Vibram size charts I seemed to fit neither gender's size range, so I ordered both the men's and women's version of this style in size 42. The fit was good and seemed consistent between both genders, and I wound up keeping the men's instead because I didn't like the pink/purple women's options. In men's shoes I generally wear an 8.5 - 9 so I'd say the Zappos size labeling is misleading - definitely visit the Vibram site for their sizing chart and base your order off that. As for the shoes, they feel great!

A great shoe for working on your barefoot strength. This is my second pair and love them. However sizing is a little difficult. I wear a US 14 in most shoes. This last pair I ordered a 47 and it is too large. Going with the 46. Quick Tip- as you wear them without socks they can get really stinky. Rather constantly washing them throw them in the freezer (in a bag) overnight. It will kill the bacteria that cause the odor and save wear on your shoes.

Husband hasn't worked out in them yet, but really likes the way they feel. He's been wearing them around like slippers and says they are comfy. Likes that his toes don't rub together. He's a size 10 1/2 - 11, we bought a size 43 and they fit great.

Well after 30yrs of life, I think I have finally found shoes that I like. I have really wide feet and usually have to settle for shoes that are good if they don't hurt my feet. The Vibram Fivefingers KMD Sport LS has converted me into one of those weirdoes but I can say for certain that my feet have never been happier. I feel really energized while running around and jumping in these shoes. It's like my whole life my feet have only been moving and functioning in 2 dimensions and now, they are having a high definition 3D experience. Love it.

Overall, I love these shoes. They are super comfortable, hug my feet, and are easy to clean. I have ONLY been buying Vibram FiveFingers for the past few years due to their high quality and super fit. Unfortunately, this pair began to fall apart the first few months. I am inclined to think it must be a fluke as other pairs have been fantastic and lasted for years. I am still planning on continuing to purchase Vibram shoes.

I ordered some vibrim shoes that Arrived in three days. I unfortunately ordered the wrong size. I called their customer service number and spoke with a very helpful, cheerful employee. The next day I had the new shoes. They also sent me an address label to print. They were great and I would use them again!

I just received mine. They are much to narrow on the sole. And the top of my feet can't slip down into the shoe. My feet are 10" long. I got the size 41. I'm guessing I need two sizes bigger. Sure wish there was a place around here that I could try them on for size. Generally my shoes are triple wide Years back in San Antonio I had a pair with no strap or lace. Loved those. So not sure what happened with fitting the KMD sport LS but I'm really disappointed.

I have previously purchased Vibram 5 fingers from REI.com, however, if the shoe did not fit then I was responsible for paying the return postage. Zappos made no issue when it came to returning an item as needed. Regarding the shoe itself...it is awesome, the support is just what is needed. It was a bit snug at first but loosened up after 2 wearings. This allowed the shoe to mold specifically to my foot and not be a generic fit. The fit is like an expensive glove. They are so comfortable I fall asleep in them. So true to form, I've ordered a second pair. Thanks Zappos.

These are the best most sturdy shoes for my teenage son. He is incredibly hard on his equipment and Vibram's have stood the test. I am a believer in Vibrams.

I've owned a few pairs of VFF now and over the past two years I've stopped running in regular shoes regardless of season or terrain I run on. I have to say it's a learning curve to get used to practically nothing on your feet but the benefits made the time spent worth while. I prefer the KMD over the Bikila when it comes to running where I do. The pavement ripped apart the pod style outsole in about 125 miles. But my KMD's are still going strong at well over 150 miles now. As with all Vibrams they take time to stretch and break in. Once they are they quickly become your favorite running shoes. I prefer this shoe to pavement and weren't a fav for trails. For there I use a pair of Spyridon MR and those are awesome. Still my KMD's are my go to shoe. Still going strong and hope to get the entire summer out if em. Once you learn to run barefoot you won't go back. I'm a believer now, more miles, zero knee or back pain, much stronger overall legs too. Try 'em in the gym too on leg days, they're great there too.

I love these shoes, my girlfriend hates them. I told her that if she makes me choose, I'm choosing the shoes. I haven't tried other vibram shoes, so I can't compare but these are awesome for pretty much everything I've thrown at them. These shoes have taken miles and miles of abuse, water, snow, trail, pavement and gym, and are still going strong! I've never felt like I had more control of my grip on the ground as I do when I wear these. The Cons: The smell - just keep them clean, I have found using denture tablets and water in a pot really freshens them up. Sand! - Walking on the beach can be a bit annoying because you kick sand as you walk and grains of sand get in the shoes. Since they fit so snug and you don't wear socks, you really have to take the sand out. They are not the best beach shoes.

The regular KMD velcros--also known, back in the day, as KomodoSport--were my very first pair of Vibrams. From a comfort perspective, they were almost perfect. The current crop of KMD Sport LS migrated to the quick-pull, velcro-fastening lacing system, which is very convenient. But strangely, for the KMD Sport LS, the upper is slightly more snug on the top of my foot than the original Komodos. This is most likely due to the fact that the Sport LS variants have a sneaker tongue whereas the legacy velcro version does not. Regardless, consider this when sizing. The snugness is not quite enough to be uncomfortable, and it's not enough for me to need to size-up from my standard 41. But it's there. Other than that, this is like every other Komodo / KMD -- decent ground feel, but not the best, since it has a thicker sole. That makes this very good for walking / hiking on slightly rougher terrain, while still providing breathability and flexibility. Sole: The traction feels more robust and durable than my old Bikila LS pair; less "sticky" but more durable than my KSO Evo's; and less marshmallow-soft/comfortable than my CVT's but, again, more durable. I enjoy the turquoise-green colorway as a slicker alternative to the yellow-green colorway that I also own. Overall, I like the KMD Sport LS models quite a bit. While they are not my favorite, they are possibly the most versatile pairs I own, and appropriate for casual-wear, light hiking, and working out.

I will recommend a different a different shoe at the end of this review. I had to try a pair of Vibram Five Fingers because they are supposed to be the closest thing to barefoot. Maybe last month I had more money than sense. I am not a runner, let alone a barefoot runner. I just use them at home fitness videos (T-25, P90x, etc.). They are a little bit of a pain to put on because you have to work each individual toe into its toe-hole, but it gets easier and faster as the shoes mold to your feet. Over time. They fit all right but not perfectly. I have hammer toes, which are slightly curled and so do not extend all the way into the toe "fingers" as fully as they should. So my big toes fit perfectly, but the other toe fingers are a little floppy. So they are fun to wear because I am a gadget geek and they are so goofy looking and biomechanically intriguing. But I also bought a pair of New Balance Minimus MX20v4s. They are also barefoot minimal cushion, zero drop running/training shoes which seem to have the same biomechanical advantages as Vibram Five Fingers, and are just as wide, but easier and faster to put on, more comfortable, and less ridiculous looking when you are in a pub after a workout. If I could only have one of these shoes I would pick the Minimus trainers.

I have the older version of these and wanted to replace them but of course I could not remember the size. Their sizing chart is not very helpful. I am returning them for a larger size. A size 41 is not a US 10, it is not a US 9½, and I would put money on it being a tight fit for a US 9.
