I was searching for the perfect 'distressed' tan booties for the longest time! And when I came across these I loved the look of them, although I had never heard of the brand before (at least not for boots) so I took a gamble and ordered them. Can I just say, these boots are AMAZING! They were comfortable from the start besides just a little breaking in needed around the ankle area (it had originally left a cut on my inner ankle) but after wearing them a few times they quickly became my go-to pair of boots! I stand all day on my feet at work and I love wearing these because they are the most comfortable & I get compliments on them all the time! Perfect color that goes with everything, amazing comfort, and that perfect distressed look I was going for! Thank you Kork-ease! If you are looking for another pair of boots to go along with these, the Sam Edelman Petty leather ankle boots are amazing & also VERY comfortable! The Velma's and Petty's are my two go-to boots!

I love the look and style of the Chelsea boot. They are easy to put on, but I was disappointed that they scuffed almost immediately after only wearing them around my house to try the fit. They are quite snug around the pinky toe even though I ordered 1/2 size up. I have very high arches and the cushioned support feels nice; hoping it will last and not wear down quickly. Still unsure if they are worth the price, but will circle back after a few months to see if they stand up.

I bought a pair of brown leather Velma’s 9 years ago! I wear them at least 3-4times a week during fall to summer in the PNW. They have been through lots of heavy rainstorms and while not totally waterproof they have kept my feet dry. They never got out of shape after being wet and still look pretty nice. The heel must be indestructible because they are still in good shape even though I trek the downtown area quite a bit (no car). I wear a 7 and have bunions. These shoes in a 7 are wide enough in the toe box to accommodate. Comfy immediately.

I have bad feet and most shoes hurt. These are so comfortable and cute too.

These boots run slightly small and narrow. You can only wear very thin socks with them. The quality of these boots is great but after purchasing them and wearing them I found I don’t like the way the toe turns up. The leather and overall style is exactly what I was looking for but that design feature gives them somewhat of a “western” feel and looks a little strange when wearing them with skinny jeans.

These became my favorite ankle boots one hour into the first wearing. They are very comfortable and stylish and the leather is nice. I love that I can just pull them on instead of having to deal with a zipper. I have bunions and wide feet and am amazed that they never hurt my feet. Look great with pants. Might work with a very casual skirt or dress. For me the sizing was accurate. I normally wear a 9.0 and sometimes a 9.5 and the 9.0 fit perfectly. I bought the black leather. Am wanting to buy a second pair in another color.

Love these boots. I have a wider foot than average, so they feel a little snug in the width on Day 1, but since I got the cracked suede, I'm confident they'll wear-in nicely. The length is accurate to me and I appreciate the slight arch and padding. I also like the contrasting welt and the rubber part of the sole. Easy to slip on and off. Hoping to get several good years out of these!

What a fantastic little boot, and surprising! Honestly, I did not have high hopes because I figured Kork-Ease, what will they know about making comfortable boots? Ha on me. These are surprisingly comfortable with a moderately flexible sole (not super flexible like a Geox sole, for example) and a large strip so as to not slip. They are tight to get on but I love that, because it means my foot / ankle won't be wobbling around when I wear them. They have the finger tab at the back of the ankle which makes it easier, and truthfully, I was after a pull-on / pull-off bootie (didn't want to mess with a zipper). I think the biggest shocker for me is how comfortable they are on the foot. No, they're not Ecco or Merrell, but seriously, I thought these were going to be a "look but don't walk much or stand for long periods of time" boot, and I was okay with that. Again, I was wrong -- I can tell I'll definitely be able to walk to the kids' school or whatever and not be miserable. They do not look at all like cowboy booties. In the pictures I'd thought they would look a little like that (which I wanted) with the slightly pointed toe, but no, they just look like a dress boot with a small stacked heel. I tried umpteen pairs of booties and these were hands-down the most comfortable so I'll take that over the slight cowboy appearance. I also think they're expensive for what they are, but compared to the Frye boots they are a bargain!

I own 4 pairs of these. I bought and wore my first pair and they fit great and were so very comfortable, so I quickly ordered 2 more pairs. When my first pair were beat to death from everyday wear, and I mean every single day, that’s how much I liked them, I moved on to pair #2. They also were fantastic. Once again, when they were no longer in good enough condition to wear to work, I pulled out pair #3. Low and behold, they fit much snugger/too tight as well as a half size shorter. They were bought too long ago to return but I thought it must have been a fluke/an odd fitting pair so happily ordered pair # 4 to move on to. The last pair was a different color than the first 3, and they were even tighter than pair #3 and I could barley get them on. Same boot, same sizes, different fit. Very inconsistent.

Beautiful and elegant design. I normally wear a 9 but these were too tight and hurt my feet. I returned them for a 9.5 and these fit perfectly.

I’m a true 10.5, but have another pair of Kork-ease that fits perfectly in a 10. These are too small though! So maybe true to size, but felt smaller than other Kork-ease brand.

These are the most comfortable boot ever. This is my 3rd pair. No socks needed and can dress up or down. I’m sold on this brand.

Great little boot. I was a little worried about the fact that there is no zipper, but the elastic gore is more than adequate to slip on the boot easily and be comfortable (it doesn't constrict) while wearing, and it's nice to have a bootie without zippers! I really like arch support, and while this boot/brand isn't SUPER supportive of my arches, it is enough to make them comfortable. This is my second pair of Kork-Ease booties. Now I just wish they would make a black pair with black heels!

I have slightly wide feet, so at first they felt a little narrow, but they’ve broken in well since they’re leather. Can be a little tricky to get on and off since the elastic gores are quite strong.

These fit, my heel still slides (my feet are very narrow), but that never goes away. I wear my orthotics on top of the footbed which helps. The color is nice, I wish it came in black with a black heel.

Fit varies but keep on trying! They are worth it!! I ordered a pair for my daughter and I tried them on and they were so beautiful and comfortable that I promptly ordered a pair for myself. When they arrived they felt too narrow compared to hers. I read on another review about how the fit can vary a bit so I ordered the exact same pair and they were wider like hers. Success! If you love them and they aren't a perfect fit don't five up because they are totally worth it! I wore them all day on my feet teaching, straight out of the box with zero issues. Thank you Zappos for the return flexibility and great customer service to help find and keep the perfect item! I am usually a Frye fan but the two booties they have this season are cowboy point toe and very stiff leather that cut into my ankles. Also their cute cutouts are sexy and fun but impractical in winter when you need to wear socks bc the socks would show through. Korks really came through with THE perfect style and fit this time!

I just love Kork-Ease shoes! I ordered these in Rum/Cognac and Black and they are very comfortable. I usually wear an 8 but found that I needed to size down 1/2 size. I'll still have room for thin socks. The Rum/Cognac color is beautiful in person. The picture doesn't do it justice. These shoes look great with jeans and skirts.

I ordered these boots in the rum/cognac, I loved the way they fit and they were super comfortable right out of the box. The fit was true to size - I am a size 10.5m and as there was no 10.5 I ordered the 11. They slipped a little on the heel being 1/2 size too big but would have been ok with a thicker sock. (Why don't more manufacturers make a 10.5 in their size runs? It's very frustrating.) Unfortunately the color wasn't quite as dark as I was looking for so I returned them.

These are everything I wanted in an ankle boot. Stylish without heels, appropriate for wet weather, flattering in those of us with shorter legs. I get many compliments on them.

I loved this shoe and really wanted it to work! It is a beautiful and well made shoe and was exactly what I was looking for. However, as others have mentioned, the toe area feels quite narrow and it really just ended up being too uncomfortable. If you have narrow feet than I am sure it will be a great shoe for you.

I wore these the first day right out of the box to a Mardi Gras parade and walked at least six miles. They were great! No break in time, good support, and styled perfect with skinny jeans. I'm usually a 9.5, narrow. So I ordered up to a 10. They are so comfortable and cool.

I absolutely love the sleek style of this boot. Not clunky at all. It is very well made so it adds to its beautiful look. My only complaint is that they are a bit narrow (I have skinny feet!) I am hoping they loosen up, otherwise I plan on stretching them at home. Worth it, but it will take a little work to make them comfy.

The Rum/Cognac Full Grain photo is not the correct color or leather type. What I received was a smooth leather in a rusty-orange color but the name on the box had, "Rum/Cognac Full Grain," so I think the photo is incorrect.

I am someone who very carefully researches their shoe options before buying, and this bootie was far and away the best choice. Happy to say they fit perfectly and look AWESOME. I didn't even need to break them it, they were perfect from the second I put them on. I wore them walking all over Switzerland for nine days and my feet didn't hurt at all (they do fit a nice wool sock, too). I've now had them for two months and wear them several times per week. I do have to say I have had a major issue with them though - they are leather bottomed and the sole is peeling away from the shoe. I called Zappos to see if they would send a new pair, but they were sold out of my size! And now I can't find them anywhere. I was refunded the full price, however, and Zappos Customer Service (shout out to Kira in Las Vegas), was incredibly helpful. Word to the wise, DO NOT wear these in very wet conditions. I am willing to bet that over exposure to water was the reason for the separation. (Not that I jumped around in puddles, but it does rain unexpectedly and snow does melt).
