I own several pairs of Spanx that started buying about 5 years ago. These are the most comfortable, with great control. Bought size C. I am 5'7" and 142 lbs.

Although a bit difficult to put on, once on they were miraculously comfortable for a full 12 hour day , while smoothing and holding me in. I'm not sure I'm "skilled" enough to use the slit for easy bathroom use, but these are wonderful regardless.

This seems like it would never work, but it does! The material doesn't seem like it's much thicker/stronger than pantyhose material and I was worried I would either poke a fingernail through it or that it just wouldn't do much. However, it really helped smooth out my trouble spots and was very comfortable. Even though I have a bit of extra padding in areas this did not roll down at the top, even when sitting. I wasn't brave enough to try their more convenient way of going to the toilet, but it wasn't too difficult to just pull it down and back up when finished.

They didn't have black in size C so I went for the bare in a size D. Figured it would work just as well. It did. I am 5'9" 145 lbs and it is very comfortable and wears easily. It doesn't roll down and I plan on wearing it under my long dresses. Shorter dresses will need the shorter legged one. As to the open area to allow you to use the ladies room without removal. Seriously? Houdini I am not. Something is going to get wet if I try this. I cracked myself up just thinking about it!

This is one the best shapers for the price. It holds me in, doesn't roll down, doesn't make me look pregnant even though I easily could because I have a big stomach.

I really like these Spanx. They are very comfortable, do not role down and are firmng. What more could you ask for ladies?

Compared to all of the other similar Spanx products I tried on, these were my favorite. They are super comfortable, don't roll down and they have a cotton gusset that makes it super easy to pee without removing the Spanx. The only downside is that I did feel a bit hot wearing this under my clothes on a warm day, so I would advise against wearing this under your clothes in the summertime.

I have loved my Higher Power for years and am so happy to see a revamp on the product! My favorite Spanx product by far and it really keeps you sucked in.

Love my Spanx. I've bought other garments that claim to have high waistbands that do not roll. Wrong! This product does what it says. So glad I bought it. The price to me is reasonable as well.

Not as slimming as I would have hoped- this was a little bit loose and not so much that I could have gone down a size, but it didn't pull me in as much as I wanted. In addition, the legs are a little long for a skirt that hits above the knees.

Not bad. I am a size 9, 5'6" around 140 pounds and ordered size B. That seems to be correct size. It does not curl up my legs, but I do have to keep pulling up the top. It seems to push my stomach out instead of flattening it, though. I like how it smooths my muffin top, though. However, in tight shirts and dresses, you can see the seam down the front.

I'm not sure what's with this new design, but it's definitely not improved. Yesterday I wore old Spanx that had holes in both the stomach and the butt area, but I was desperate for some level of smoothing (it was minimal). Today I tried on my new pair of these, and let me tell you, the hold was just as bad if not worse! And I ordered a size down!! I still had a visible double belly, and it stuck further than my DD boobs. I put on my 3-year old stretched out miracle suit shapewear and that at least held my belly in so that my boobs were my more prominent feature. I was really disappointed with these Spanx, especially considering I wasted a Zappos store credit in purchasing them which I'll never be able to recover and I need to buy a new miraclesuit because obviously Spanx has gone downhill with their new design.

These did nothing for me. I am 5'8 and about 155 pounds, so I ordered the size C. They were either too big, or they just don't work. Very dissatisfied with this product.

This shapewear does good holding in thighs, but there is not enough support in the abdomen/back area. I really hoped it would work for me, but I have to keep looking. The fabric is a lot like that ah bra, and seems rather cheap for the price. The seam down the front does not look or feel good at all. Maybe it will work for someone who is a little larger in the abdomen.
