Love these! Out of the box comfortable. J.S. has always been a favorite but I haven't had a pair in a while. I tried a few other boots in this shipment/order and there was no comparison to these! The faux fur is soft and the suede color is just beautiful. I couldn't be happier. Great for all day comfort.

I'm really torn about these. I sent the 39's back because they were too big. I assumed that the 38's would be perfect because I always wear Jos Seibel 38's. However they are at least one size too long. They are so chic...really stunning. They are also too stiff and heavy to do a lot of walking or hiking in, at least for me....more form than function and too expensive for me to keep to wear now and again just to be cute. Sending them back regretfully.

Absolutely gorgeous shoe!! The pictures don't do them justice! The suede is a beautiful rich red color & the faux fur is unbelievably soft! I love the contrast of the white & brown fur with the red suede. They are super comfortable, too...soon to be my faves & I have a TON of boots, including many pairs of Uggs (which I also adore ;)! If you're on the fence about buying these, do it!! Buy the shoes!! You won't regret it!!

I got these in the dark raspberry color and, as expected, they're gorgeous. They slide right on and are soooo comfortable. Sure, it's a lot of money but you get what you pay for and I know I will be able to wear these for years. Six stars!

I love everything about these except the laces. If you want to lace them up all the way (instead of folding over), it's a real PITA to get the laces through the eyelets (tubelets, really) because the firm end of the lace is not as long as the leather tubelet that you have to stick it through, so it won't feed easily. I ended up having to stick the lace in as far as it would go and twist to create tension so it would push all the way through. Then I had to grab the end of the lace with my teeth to pull it through the rest of the way. So it's not SUPER easy to switch back and forth between laced up and folded over. However, an option I discovered this morning was just leaving it fully laced up, folding the sides down, and tying my laces there. You don't have to snap them down that way because the tied laces hold them down. Comfort, warmth, style = All 5's.

I loved this boot. Stylish yet WARM, even though my foot is a size 11! I need to wear orthotics (the foot bed is removable) but w / the heel height and orthotic in; sadly the toe box was too small. It propelled my foot forward as well so I have to return. If you don't have bozo feet, they are fur lined warm and stylish!

Amazing number of compliments in less than a week. Extremely comfortable and stylish. I'm heading back to Zappos for more of the same.

I love these boots! I now need to wear orthotic inserts all the time. Has a roomy toebox. I wear boots all the time, and have searched everywhere for some stylish and insert friendly ones. These are perfect. Put my inserts in and I could stand and walk all day! Even better than all my other shoes which allow inserts (Naots). Even if you don't need to remove the original insoles, those are really comfortable and feel very absorbent and cushioned. And did I say they are gorgeous? The fake fur looks and feels real, you can also wear them styled several different ways. I like them laced up loosely to the top, but with the fur turned out , just not as far down as the snaps. They also look good with fur turned down all the way and snapped, or laced up with no fur showing. Change it with your mood or outfit! Just can't go wrong with these.

These boots are extremely comfortable, warm and toasty. The only thing I'd change would be to make the loops for the laces a bit bigger so the laces are easier to thread. But that's a minor quibble. The shoe is more comfortable and supportive than those by the major sheepskin shoe company.

I love these boots. They immediately became one of my favorite pairs. Easy to wear, cute, well made and super comfortable. I wear an 11.5/12 and the 11's are a good fit. I love them so much, I am going to see if they are available in another color.

These are great boots. They do run a bit large. I ordered a half size down and wear with a sock. The fit is perfect. Good support. Exceptionally comfortable. Very warm and stylish with jeans.

I love these! They fit great, are comfortable and warm. I wear them up and not snapped down. They are cozy. They are spacious but true to size. My mom is from Germany, and German designed shoes always seem to fit me well, often USA ones are too wide.

This review is for fit clarity. I normally wear a 7 shoe, or a 7 1/2 in a running shoe and very consistently a 38 European, with a medium to narrow width. I ordered this shoe in a 37 and 38 due to the reviews it runs large. It does run large in the length, but the toe box is slightly angled, just enough that I could feel the outside of my small toes bumping the edge of the shoe in the smaller size, although the length was perfect. With winter socks this was more noticeable. I live in a cold winter climate and I intend to wear these as a snow boot, with medium weight socks, so I opted for the larger size which will give my toes extra wiggle room to warm up as I am outdoors a lot more than most people. If I intended to wear these with tights or fashion socks as a fashion boot, and I spent most of my day indoors, the 37 would be a good choice.

I love these boots. I love Joseph Seibel. Always comfortable. I personally do not like them down. I like them laced all the way up. I think they look a little better. The size does run a bit big. I would order half a size to a full size down depending on the thickness of socks you wear. Overall these are great shoes!

The question is: could I love these boots any more? The answer is, no, I could not. They are so fabulous; I went with the other reviewers' advice and ordered a size smaller than usual and they are just right with winter socks. The color is deep and rich; fur is soft; I love that the fur collar snaps down or unsnaps to be worn all the way up. They are comfortable and supportive, as all Josef Seibel shoes I've ever bought. I love how they look: a bit edgy, not the usual black winter footwear you see everywhere here.

I wear a 7 1/2 M with very narrow heels; Josef Seibel 38 M has always fit perfectly, but the 38 Carmin was sold out, and I was confused by conflicting reviews (running small, running large) so I ordered the 39. They are beautiful but huge for my foot, even with thick hiking sox, so they are going back and I am on the "waiting list" for the 38's.

Everyone who sees these has an opinion about them! They are truly fabulous! The red color is very rich and the fake fur amazingly life-like and soft. I normally wear a 10 and my feet are somewhat narrow with a narrow heel and these in a 42 (41 was sold out) fit slightly big but with the laces adjusted, are not floppy but instead extremely laid back and comfortable. Have received a compliment from a complete stranger -- these are really different and cool. If it's possible for a pair of boots to have a sense of humor, then these do. Josef Seibel makes quality stuff.

This shoe runs a full size large. I am always a size 9, European 40. The 40 was huge on me so I got the 39 and still had ample room in the toe box. They are very comfortable though and I've already worn them and got a ton of compliments. I didn't like the contrasting laces so I changed them to dark brown laces.

Just received these & they are great - I love them! They're exactly as pictured & the quality is superb. Chose the 'Taupe', which is a nice sand color & looks great with the faux fur, which is surprisingly realistic! Extremely soft & full. As far as sizing goes, don't go by the size chart & order your reg EU size! Many Italian & German lines run one full size smaller, & that is the case with these. I'm a US 7.5, EU 38, across the board, but with these, I went with the 39 & it's exactly what a 38 would be in another brand. A half size option would be great, but ordering up a size is the only way to go & if you're in-between whole sizes, definitely go up. I have plenty of room for socks, but can also go without and not be swimming in them (I normally don't wear socks unless it's super cold). They're not narrow, as I have plenty of wiggle room-just the right amount. As for comfort: extremely comfortable right out of the box-especially the patented footbed. Cushy & comfy & warm. Nothing negative to say about them at all...think I may even go ahead & order them in another color. Don't hesitate - get them!

I love these! They are super comfy and snuggly. I have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable on my feet and these seem to do the job. I have fairly slim feet and ankles, and I have tightened these up about as much as would be possible without scrunching up the tongue (which is leather and fur so it's not that flexible). If you have extremely thin feet and ankles, you might want to watch out for that issue. The style options are fun, but it's hard to get the laces through the loops because the loops are slightly longer than the firm end of the laces. It's not impossible though.

These are comfy and cozy. I wish the footbed were a bit more cushioned, but otherwise they are very comfortable, with plenty of room for my toes, while still looking sleek. I put a 3/4 length Birkenstock arch support., and they fit fine. I have thin, but still medium width, feet and narrow heels and have a hard time finding shoes that fit well. With the laces, I think these could fit a variety of feet.

I love JS shoes. Total quality but these looked like I had 2 rabbit strapped to my ankles. Soft but WAY too much fur around the ankles.

I haven't purchased these yet and don't know if I will. I love the rugged look and they are very comfortable. I tried on a size 37 because that's what I normally where in European sizing but practically a whole size too big. The store didn't have a 36 but I have never worn a 36 (5-5.5) so not sure if I should waste my time.

Very cute, and well made. I'm normally a 9.5 - 10, but many reviewers claimed this boot ran large so I ordered a 40. It was too small. I would have tried a 41, except that the sole had absolutely no cushion or thickness under the ball of my foot -- it was uncomfortable on carpet; it certainly wouldn't have been any better on a hard surface. Cute, but not worth having to futz with it at that price. BTW, for those of you with skinny, tolerant feet considering this boot, I have a narrow foot, and the lacing held it snug. :)
