While I am often disappointed in modern combat boots style and quality to the extreme, I was appreciative of the old school simple style of these. That said, these Ariats arent like they used to be in terms of the quality, but they are better than most every other option Ive looks into with this sort of appearance. I miss sturdy, tough matte leather and minimal embroidery. These for some reason are very shiny and I honestly keep second guessing if they even are real leather. I will say that they are comfortable and holding up better than I would have expected after pulling them out of the box.

Well crafted stylish comfortable beautiful boot. Love the color combinations. Ive received many compliments and of course I tell them to go to Ariat.

By looking at the picture online of these boots, they are definitely not trie to the color. I was expecting a blue upper and these are black or very dark gray in color. I'm very disappointed. I can't return this pair. I need them due to an event honoring my father this weekend. He's being honored posthumously for his years of helping kids learn to ride horses, and being a huge part of our local saddle club community. I feel like online pictures should reflect the true color of items listed.

Look like the picture, however, they do run about a size small and are a little bit of a tight fit in the toes.

Excellent quality - as always! That's what keeps me coming back to this brand as well as comfort. The wides were not as wide as I expected though. Still wider than the regular.

Agree with other reviewers on a lot of things: the heels are way too roomy (so much slippage), the blue on the shaft of one color is actually much closer to black and the brown bottom is way darker, the boots are oversized for the measurement guide Ariat has online, and I could see these being tight across the instep if the sizing was correct. Bummer as I really wanted to like these boots. Sent them back.

These boots are super comfy. I did size down from 6 1/2 to a size 6. Color was much darker than photos on web page.

It is a beautiful boot and one of my favorites. But, it is a little tight at the top of the foot. I can wear it for a few hours but, after that, I really start feeling it! It fits perfect everywhere else so I'm hoping that it will eventually mold around my feet better.

I'm impressed with these boots. I purchased the storming brown color and while the pink and blue embroidery was accurate to the pictures the blue grey color of the shaft was black in person. I love the color though. They have a nice square toe and angled heel. Great boots for the price and I can't wait to ride in them.

I normally wear 8.5 and after reading the reviews I decided to stick with 8.5, its a perfect fit! Just recommended breaking them in like any other pair. I feel if I wouldve order a half size down my toes wouldve been squished. They wouldve been too big if ordered a size up.

Ordered these boots in size 8.5 B and they were tight at first, but I wore them out for a couple of days and now they fit perfect. So happy with this first pair of cowgirl boots!

I absolutely love the square toe on these boots. I usually wear a snip toe but wanted a more casual square toe but most are too broad. These are nice and feminine and look great with jeans. I was worried about sizing based on the reviews so ordered a half size up, they were too big. I then ordered my normal size and the top of the boot was SUPER tight, however, my heel fit a little better. I've never had a boot slip on the heel so much but I think I'll get used to it. I put on a couple pairs of thick socks and heated the top of the boot with a blow dryer. Once it cooled, I put on my regular socks and the top of the boot fit much better. These aren't my favorite fit but contrary to the other reviews, it's because the heel is a little too wide.

There are only two things about this boot I don't love. The first is the wide, square toe. I would have preferred the smaller squared toe. The second is the gold colored pattern of the upper part of the boot. I would have liked to see a better (not gold) contrast of the design. Since the upper boot will be covered by pants I decided the boot overall is acceptable and still a very nice looking boot.

This is a great boot. Would love to see it in black!

Love my new boots! I wish they didn't need breaking in. The wide width is good, but I need my foot to stretch them a bit more. My feet hurt not very long after putting them on. Breaking them in will take me awhile, at this rate, and I want to wear them so much!

Bought these boots around a year and a half ago, wear them almost every day. I have not changed insoles once, and they are still comfortable to wear even while standing all day. They are scuffed and splattered with paint, but the leather has seasoned beautifully and I constantly get compliments on them. I was a little concerned they'd be too narrow for my feet which are a bit wide, but the leather has stretched so well I have lots of wiggle room for my toes, and they don't give me blisters or calluses, unlike my steel toe Keens (which are supposed to be good work shoes!) Whenever they wear out, I know where to get my next pair!

Great quality, super cute but I feel I'm between a 7.5 and 8. I have a wider forefoot and narrower heel so it was difficult to settle on a size. I went with an 8 (I typically wear either 8 or 8.5 but in square toe went smaller) and am hoping the leather will mold to my feet. If not I'll wear thicker socks. Better to go larger than smaller!
