I expected these sandals to be a little bit soft and squishy. They are not, they are somewhat stiff and hard. They are not comfortable, the arch actually hurts one of my feet a little because of the hardness. Disappointed! Returning.

Very uncomfortable

Unfortunately I’ve had some bad luck with Birkenstocks and Zappos. Almost like the were returned used pairs that get refurbished. It’s a major let down especially since I know a good quality Birk. Been wearing them for over 25 years. The plastic ones came with the stamped paint removed on one side that shows the size and width. Odd.

Loved the sandals but have not support and couldn’t figure out why my calves and hips were hurting and then I stopped wearing the sandals and nothing hurts anymore. I love Zappos and love that I can send them back.

uncomfortable and wrong color

I haven’t put these on my feet so I can’t really review the quality of the shoe, but they arrived coated in dirt and all worn out. I’m so sad.

Horrible

Horribly made

Way too wide and made horribly now a days. Left a black mark on my skin after only having it on for less than 3 minutes. Tight shoes and way too big even though I am a size 6 in shoes these must have been a size 7 or more.

Unfortunately, they squeak with every step. Just a horrible farting noise every single time I take a step, sometimes originating from the arch, sometimes from the toe area. Absolutely unwearable, despite being otherwise comfortable, true to size, and lightweight.

I love Birkenstocks but these shoes are so ugly and stiff. They have been returned.

these shoes were enormous, and looked very cheap. Even if they had fit, I would not expect them to last at all. I think Birkenstocks can do better.

After wearing the shoes for 2 days, I was very disappointed to see that both of the shoes had already cracked.

Was disappointed in the quality of the materials.

I liked the look, but they were stiff and uncomfortable. They were not at all flexible.

White pair arrived in filthy condition with animal and human hair, black rub marks from feet. Threw them into trash.

I have been wearing Birkenstock sandals for many years and own numerous pairs. I purchased the Arizona Essentials for this summer season in April 2021. I have worn them less than 15 times and already there is a split in the foot bed as seen in the picture. I am very disappointed.

Returning them because I found red ones I like better

not narrow enough

I was so excited to see these marked as narrow. However, this is not the case with these shoes. To me, narrow means just that. I am not able to walk on hard floors with one of my feet so I need something quick to put on as well as comfortable. If I keep these, I will need to add holes on both straps to get a good fit. If I do that and it doesn’t work, I m pretty sure Zappos won’t take them back

I was so excited about these waterproof Birks. I thought the bright pink would be fun. Perhaps I should have ordered a size down, but worried they would be too small/tight then. These were very ill-fitting. When I looked down at my feet, the sandals look like those cheap flip flops you get a the nail salon while you wait for your nails to dry. They bowed out on the inner side, and were too long on both ends, and they just felt cheap and clownish. I had to return them

Not like the original Birks.

This Birks are cute, but as I wore them around my living room, I thought that they would be hot. The plastic material doesn’t seem like it will breathe at all.

I live in Birkenstocks however these were no good for me. Ordered my normal Birk size, these were way too big. Also hard and clunky. Appealing idea but a fail for me.

The last time I wore these shoes, I tripped in my home and broke my ankle in two places. Now, I officially just wear shoes that I can secure in the front and back. I've also only started wearing sandals that have soles that are more "anti-roll." These sandals have a completely flat bottom (like all Birkenstocks) so I fear I can roll my ankle again.
