My 13 y/o daughter *loves* these. She has sensory issues so I was a bit surprised she had no problem with not having a strap to hold her foot in. She's worn them since they left the box 3 days ago. Very cute. Turned out the orange is not as obnoxious as I'd expected.

I followed some of the other reviews & sizes half size up & they were too big , had to reorder my normal size . I like these because they are very lightweight & comfortable , great for the beach or pool .

I ordered these because I could wear them in the rain and at the beach without damaging them like my other Birkies. They fit perfectly right out of the box and look great. But like all "plastic" shoes my feet sweat in them and the moisture doesn't evaporate well. But I knew that going in. They meet my purpose for buying them.

These are insanely comfy and IMO cuter than the traditional. I even wear them around the house.

These are my new favorite everyday shoes! I bought them in white for a trip to Kauai, where they were perfect in the rain and I wound up wearing them the entire trip. When they arrived, I was apprehensive about the chunky look and whether they’d cause blisters. I adjusted them to the second-tightest holes because I found these to be very wide out of the box. Many days of wear, and no blisters later, they’re the comfiest shoes I own. I love how they shape around the heel, because flat, hard flip flops and sandals always destroy my heels with cracks in the summertime. I find these to have great arch support which isn’t typical in sandals either. Now I wear them with athleisure or casual weekend clothes for errands. I am just waiting for the restock so I can swoop them in black and silver, too!

I bought a pair of these in red two years ago. I liked them so much that I ordered the yellow for myself, my mom, and mother-in-law. They are lighter than traditional birkenstocks. Perfect for wearing in the rain or the beach/pool.

Finally, the comfort of Crocs without the shame of wearing Crocs! I call these my "Birkencrocks" and I love them. They fit and wear like any Birkenstock, and they don't soak up water because they have a foam-like feel to them. They are definitely rugged enough to hold up to summer walking. I have been wearing Birks for 20 years and I wish the Essentials had come out years ago. You can't beat the style and fit for the price!

I had never tried Birkenstocks before but read that they may be good (as good as sandals can be) for over-pronators. Of the 4 styles I tried, this was by far the best for my problem feet (flat feet, over-pronation). Not that I could wear these all day, but they feel much better than the more expensive styles (one regular footbed and one soft footbed) that I tried. For people with normal feet, these just might be (as one reviewer said) downright "comfy." Those who can hardly ever wear sandals due to problem feet may want to give this a try.

I've been a fan of Birkenstock for over 20 years . I wore my first pair in college until they literally fell apart . I was excited to see a more " water friendly " version . My only hesitation was thinking they might be too stiff or dig into my foot until they could be broken in. But no worries at all. They are very comfortable from the get-go. Well worth the reasonable price .

These are SO comfortable & I love the bright marigold color! I could walk in these all day.

Super Cute!! I usually wear a 38. I found it to be too big and long. I got the 37. So glad that I did!! I wore them the first day I had them. My feet felt like them were in heaven. Love this shoe and the cute colors for summer!

Perfectly what you'd expect from a Birk shoe like this. Very comfy, very true to size. Style is WYSIWYG, as always with Birks. Zappos recommended I go up a size, but I know my size in Birks and my choice was more accurate than the Zappos recommendation.

As you can see I love these! I am shopping for a different color today. I ordered the silver metallic and was worried they would be too shiny, but they are perfect. The fit was similar to my other Birks, and living in Florida, waterproof is a huge advantage. I highly recommend therm.

Cool beans. I got the bright Scuba Yellow color for my niece and she loves it! All of her elementary friends want to try them on. LOL

I love these for summer and running around!

I have the leather version of this shoe and the sizing is the same. Comfort is similar to the leather version. I’m not sure how well the arch will hold up with wear but these are perfect for being in the yard and pool with the kids.

So cute & so comfy!!! Very light weight & easy to wear. I love all my Birkenstocks & wanted something for around the house. These were perfect. Ordering other colors too!

These shoes are adorable! However ,they run larger than my traditional Arizona Birkenstocks.
