I’ve seen this item many times in stores, and always thought they just looked flimsy or cheap. However, I have never tried them on, and was surprised! I ordered these because I desperately needed bright white sandals, and I wanted to try three kinds. These are amazingly comfortable, and in fact I can’t believe it’s possible for plastic to be so comfortable! I am a major wearer of Birkenstocks and Mephistos , and in fact they’re the only sandals I wear, so although these are a bit clunky, they are the first waterproof pair of them I’ve had. However, there’s so nice looking, that I can travel with them alone, rather than taking a pair of flip-flops and a separate pair of cork bottomed sandals!

These are my second pair of Birkenstock Arizona Essentials. Two years ago I purchased a dark blue pair, and I have worn them pratically every day since. I wear them at the beach, quick errans and at home. The pair I just purchased is Coral in color. It is more pink than a coral color, but of course, I will keep the color since I am going on vacation in a few days. My last pair cracked just below the strap closest to the toe on both sides of each shoe. This happened to each shoe, but guess what?! I still wear them. I find them very comfortable!!

I am new to Zappos, but I am a longtime fan of birkenstock. I have been wearing them for 35 years. As far as sandals go I won't wear anything else. They just get more comfortable the longer u wear them. And for the water proof pair, they are wonderful. I got my first pair of the water proof pair in the mid 90's to wear at wet and wild, back when it was still on paradise. And i wore them every day in and out of the water. Had them for almost 20years, until i lost them. They are great.

They are very comfortable and great for wet wear... at the beach, pool and even rainy days!

My first pair of Birkenstocks and I love them. I am normally an 11, but the 10 to 10.5 fits fine. They are light and very cute.

Love this shoe. I have the cork Birkenstock’s but really loved the white and not having to worry about getting them dirty because I knew they’re water proof. Great shoes. Fast shipping.

These are my second pair but in a different color. I wear them at the beach and then at home for everyday shoes. The color was different than what I envision. I expected more of a persimmon color, instead of a pink. I will still wear them. It is the quality and comfort more than anything for me! My last pair, just at the beginning of the first strap after one year cracked. It is now 2 1/2 years later and I still wear them around the house.

Had to return for a smaller size!

I just ordered these and received them yesterday, I'm 8 months pregnant and my feet were hurting so bad and swollen. So tried these and they are so comfortable. I am in heaven. Going to defiantly order another pair. I defiantly recommend these. They are super light and easy to clean and easy to adjust to your fitting. 5 stars for me!!!!!

These are cute and comfy! I ordered them in narrow, because that’s all that was in stock. Even though I don’t normally wear narrow sizes, they fit great! I actually think they fit better than if I had ordered normal width. These are my first “plastic” Birks, and I’m glad I got them!

I love all Birkenstocks but these rubber ones are the best ever!

These definitely fit larger than the leather Arizona's. I bought these and a leather pair at the same time. I wear size 8 and purchased a 38 narrow in both. When purchasing the leather pair, I tried 3 different sizes to figure out which ones I liked best. These fit closer to the 39 narrow that I tried. They are a bit longer and wider than regular Birkenstocks. It's not an issue for me, as I purchased them for wearing around the house/to the pool. They are super comfy and cute! Just keep in mind they may not fit like Birkenstock's you're used to.

I love these sandals. They weigh next to nothing and are super comfortable. I have fat feet and the narrows are perfect.

Good slip on shoe

I ordered the 39 (8 - 8.5) because I am a true 8.5. I was a little nervous but it fits perfect.

These were exactly what I was looking for - slides to slip on and wear around the house with the Birks support. I got the "narrrow" size even though I normally wear standard width shoes, and found that these fit perfectly - in fact I'm not sure the straps would have fit properly if I had gone any wider. These feel great and I'm seriously considering investing in a 2nd pair for the pool and beach this summer.

I usually wear a 8.5 and the 38 in this style fits perfectly. A great light weight option for a slip-on beach shoe, with arch support. They weigh nothing-- so should be great for travel. I got the coral, which is pretty pinky, but I'm happy with it.
