Purchased these for my grandson who is a big fan of lace up boots, I thought they would take some getting use to since they were slip on's but I was wrong right out of the box he said they were like he had worn them for months. There was no breaking them in. Awesome boots. Thanks Zappos!

I have had these boots for 8 months now, I work on a 3000 acre cattle ranch and these boots have stood up to my every day use, from riding the fence lines to mucking out stalls these boots have done it all. The sole has lasted well to all my use and have stayed waterproof to this day, definitely getting these boots again and again.

I just bought a pair of these a week ago for my Birthday and have to say they are great. The break in time was nothing, and the comfort is unbelievable. I will buy another pair of these when they wear out.

I bought a pair three weeks ago and was surprised at the easy break in. The other thing I noticed is this "feeling" of being solidly planted on the ground. I liked them so much that I went and purchased another identical pair today. I'll be alternating wearing each every other day to get better life out of them. The sole gives great traction on wet steel and all kinds of other surfaces. Who ever designed this boot did a great job!

Wasnt happy that they were one made in china and two the uppers section is leather and I dont know what the bottom portion is.I was excited to try Ariat out for the fact that I wanted a boot with out the leather soles but it just didnt look or feel right to the touch. Perhaps a non waterproof version will have leather lowers as well. Almost felt like I was going to be wearing rubber rain boots. I didnt even try them on so I cant comment on the stars section.

I just want to say that I truly LOVE these boots. Surprised how comfortable they are. I don't ride anymore so the style is just from preference. These are my work boots, I'm a building contractor and I'm completely satisfied. Size was true to what I'd expect and quality is very high.

These boots are terrrrific! I intended to buy a pair of "handmade" boots from a "ranch catalog" company. The boots were out of stock, and I was in the mood! Checked out Zappos' boots, and found a pair that looked very similar and cost $80 less. Gave 'em a try, and I'm really glad I did. They're beautiful, well built, and fit like a custom made pair! Go, Zappos!

These boots so far are great!! I was worried about the sizing but they fit perfectly. I normally wear a 11.5 in boots. That is the size i got and they fit great. Looks like they are well made.

I have alot of Ariat boots, and these ones are perfect for the money. They're more of a work boot style but have the functionality of being an everyday boot. They have an insulated feel and have a stiffer toe, they run a little smaller tho. I usually where a 10.5 but i have an 11 in these.

This is one only a few boots I have ever bought that did not take any time at all to break in. They were super comfortable from the first day. I wear them everywhere from working around my place to working at my part time job in retail. Pounding dirt, or pounding concrete, these are great boots.

My friend got a pair and they happened to rip on a pointed branch which caused a large tear. Ariat warrantied them and sent him a new pair no questions asked. After service like that I didn't doubt the company at all. I got the boots and have had them for a few weeks and they are very comfortable and good looking boots.

Wore steel toes for 25 years. Retired and bought my ariats. Awesome!! Lightweight and comfortable. Very dirable. Wear everyday. Will buy more.
