Really cute boot and love the weathered and worn look of the leather. They run super small, however. I tried them in my usual size 9 and wore a thin sock. They were really tight both in the toe box and at the back. I'm going to try a 9.5.

I wanted to love this boot. I've been debating about them for a month or more. I didn't like the way they looked or felt on my feet. I sadly have to return them.

I thought 3rd time was going to be the charm. I ordered these in the Black Calf Shine, but I'm pretty sure the Black Stone Antiqued was sent. Not a huge deal and I probably would have kept them if that was the only issue. They kind of had a long-narrow look to them, which I didn't love, but again would have gotten over. What ended up being the kicker for me, and why I sent them back, was the back zipper. It was extremely hard to get all the way open and then pull closed. The other most important issue was that, even with the flap of leather to cover the zipper I could feel it rubbing my heel. I only wore them around the house for a couple hours, which a medium thick sock and when I took them off it was uncomfortable. Put them on the next morning with a thicker sock and it was still rubbing the same spot and it was hard to walk. Shame since the leather was very soft and overall I thought the boot was very stylish. Guess the hunt is still on.

I am a true size 8. Returning these boots for an 8.5 as they were WAY too tight. Had a hard time getting back zipper up. Hopefully 8.5 will work.

Oh, I loved these boots. And they fit perfectly in an 8 (don't I always wear an 8.5 in boots? Or a 9?). I tried the 8.5 but they felt loose and floppy, whereas the 8s fit like a loving and supportive glove. I wore them around and around the apartment, trying to make up my mind. They felt tight in a good way, like they were made for my foot. Finally, I decided to commit and brought them to work. I would wear them all day and break them in and they would be mine. Ha. When my feet got annoyed they must have swelled a little, and then suddenly the boots did not fit perfectly. That adorable back zip became like a cheese grater on my heel. My blisters - I'll stop here. Let's just say that the nice man at the Frye store took them back (thank god), and sympathetically commented on the bloodstain I left behind in the heel. These boots are gorgeous. I still want them. Just be warned: fits perfectly might wind up being too small, and zippers are sharp.

I loved these boots. So hard to return them, but the back snaps popped open 20 times in a day, who can do that?

I love the style of these boots, but unfortunately they were very uncomfortable. I ordered true to my size, and they were really tight when I tried them on. I decided to wear them around for a day hoping they would loosen up, but by the end of the day, my feet hurt too much and I didn't think it was worth it to keep subjecting myself to that. Also, the buckles jingled quite a bit every time I took a step. Despite the noise I would have still kept them if they had been more comfortable. I really wanted these to work out, but they were just way too narrow.
