MADE IN CHINA, so why the crazy price tag? These are not up to usual Frye standards. very cute with a moderate heel height but not worth the money for a boot NOT MADE IN THE USA.

Great boot and very versatile! Very comfortable once broken in. Bought them for a trip to Paris and wore them almost every day (lots of walking!). Love them with skinny jeans, leggings, as well as tights and dresses/skirts. Good, timeless investment.

Like all Frye products even better in person. I bought the size 9 in Cognac. Perfect fit. I normally take a wider width but these are so comfortable. Love them.

These boots are gorgeous & so well made. The cognac color looks exactly like the Frye Melissa Buttons in same color. True to length but not width. I think some of the other reviews mention they're on the narrow side, and they truly are. My feet are actually on the wide side, so they would never have worked for me out of the box. However, I was able to take them to a local shoe repair shop and have them stretched for under 10 dollars. It took 2 stretching sessions (leaving it on machine overnight), but I was able to get them stretched to an acceptable width. After that, they were a tiny snug still, but the rest stretched out with wear. If these boots are exactly what you wanted but too narrow, I highly recommend giving this a try.

Cute boots. Comfortable. Love the leather. I wear them with pants, jeans, skirts, dresses. I have the dark brown, should order all colors.

Another great pair of Frye boots! The heel is just high enough to be cute, but low enough to be comfortable. Love them!

Stylish, comfortable, and perfect day or night and indoor/outdoor heel! After trying several pair of booties, I had to have this classic all-occasion and go-with-everything boot in a just-right heel height that won't transfer a lot of pressure to your neck or joints and a nice leather that will soften and shape around your feet with a little time. The stacked heel and black leather are classic and easy to maintain. By using the Frye leather protector and ordering a half size larger to pair with simple dress shoe fleece or orthotic insoles, it also gives you longer life, use, comfort, and warmth. These are worth every penny because you will reach for them often! Love them!

The heel is a perfect height for all day comfort...in heels. The boot gives day-to-evening style that can be worn under a pant. Very versatile!

This is a very comfortable bootie. The leather is very high quality, and the craftsmanship is as well. I can walk in these all day and be comfortable. I've owned these for a year and they are my go-to boots. These booties are worth every penny spent.

I was looking for a short boot on the dressy side. I like these. Very comfortable right out of the box. I wish the shank was about 2 in. higher, but I think I will get used to it. I will wear them with pants, jeans, skirts, dresses. Hope they will be good for walking while traveling.

Very stylish, and a low heel that is just high enough. The toe box is a little too narrow for my foot, but my biggest complaint is that the top of the boot was too stiff and uncomfortable around my ankle. I didn't give them a chance to break in so I don't know if they would become more comfortable with time. They just didn't work for me unfortunately.

Loved the color, but wish I had paid more attention to the height of the shaft. It was too tall for me and hit me in the weird part of my lower shin - making walking uncomfortable. These did feel a bit bigger than my normal 8M. The width was fine and there was moderate arch support (I usually end up putting in an extra support - bad arches.) Wanted to love these, especially on sale! But alas, comfort is a big thing for me and my feet. Sadly, these are going back.

Beautiful boot. Agree with previous review that top of boot hits oddly on leg- needs to be either a 1/2 inch shorter or taller for better comfort. Otherwise comfortable. Sadly sending this pair back.

These are beautiful, well-made boots but they did not work for me. The fit was great, !'m an 8.5 in Frye. The problem for me was the boot height - too tall. Also, the heel was a bit skimpy. I liked the short heel but wished it was sturdier.

I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 in shoes and boots. I own one pair of Frye's in an 8 (which never happens) so I ordered these in an 8.5 and they fit well with a thicker sock- could probably wear an 8 but worry 8 would be too tight in toes. They are pretty slim in the toe and bigger around the heel. I have somewhat narrow feet but never narrow enough to order narrow shoes. The least comfortable part of these boots is above the ankle. I am going to keep them because it is hard to find a true leather boot with a low ankle that would look good with both heels and skinny pants. I ordered the black and the color is true to the picture.

Love the color of the gray but this has a very narrow ankle. Otherwise, true to size and width. Sadly, going back.

These were very cute and the perfect heel height-just what I was looking for. Unfortunately they were just a little too snug for my wide feet and felt very stiff were they hit above the ankles. So they are going back.

The Phoebe Bootie looks quite sleek, but I found it to be very uncomfortable. The way the top of the boot is structured, the stiff upper part dug into the side of my ankle. I'd also recommend going a half size up, as the front of the shoe is a bit tight.

These are beautiful boots and the styling is exactly what I am looking for, but other reviewers are right- they are stiff and (I never thought I would say this) the shaft is too narrow. I have skinny ankles and they were pretty uncomfortable- the little tab on the outside hits at a really uncomfortable spot on the outer ankle, right above the anklebone. Sadly, I had to return them.

I am very disappointed with these boots. Yes, the boot is well made and the leather is thick. However, the top of the shoe hurt (and I have thin ankles) from the moment I zipped them up (had a red mark around them when I took them off). The front of the shoe squeezed my toes badly. I had them less than a minute and on and I couldn't get them off quickly enough. I usually go for style and look than comfort in shoes but not in this case!

I love all my Frye boots and shoes. I was looking for a bootie for the season and hoping these would be like my other shoes. I am always a 6 in Frye and a 6.5 in most other brands. These are way smaller than other Fryes in the toes. There was no way I could break them in and wear them all day at work. Sad to send them back. The grey color is gorgeous.

These shoes look fantastic, but they were not at all comfortable. The ankle shank was stiff and cut into my skin, while the footbed itself was both too narrow and too tight. It's a shame, because they really are gorgeous.

Zappos Zapped! What I feel is that companies that sell shoes should realize that there are women in the world who wear large sizes. 11.5, 12, and above. Why don't you get this? We have feet too! And we're definitely not sizes 6-9! Occasionally you relent and an 11 pops up here or there. But not often. And it often doesn't fit. And I bet you don't sell many of your shoes to women who are 6' tall and above either. That is just a crime! Especially since you charge and arm and a foot for your shoes, + hefty shipping costs - made heftier when we have to return the shoe! Therefore, I'm still ordering my shoes from Long Tall Sally in England and discontinuing my receipt of emails about your shoes that do not fit me; treating me as though I - and other women like me - do not exist!
