The original Moccasyms are the best shoes for onsighting or red-pointing sport routes, hard bouldering, indoor, and crack climbing. I have been climbing in these shoes for over 10 years now because they are the best at what they do. Super sensitivity on the smallest dime edged crystal. Great for smearing on slab. Asymmetric toes for toeing in when in overhangs. I've tried other shoes with more camber, more support, fancier materials, but these are the badass shoes that always performs. Have you watched Gran Torino? Yeah, these shoes are like that car; timeless. I go two sizes down from my street shoe since they stretch a lot. I wear a size 11 in street so I go down to a size 9 when buying them. They are not lined, board lasted, and made with real leather so they will form to your feet like a glove after a month of climbing.

Good quality shoes but fit is small. Would recommend getting the size bigger than you need.

These fit great after sizing down a good bit from street size; I went with a 9.5 and I wear a 10.5 approach and 11 running or street shoe. They are quite snug but not painful and will probably stretch out a good bit if what I've read is true, but they edge well now and just feel solid on small holds and sticky on friction all with out a painful fit. There are diminishing returns from too tight a shoe to the point where micro holds are impossible and all you can think about is getting them off. I did that with a pair of cobras a number of years back and won't make that mistake again. You really have to try a few different kinds and sizes before you get a feel for what is possible and what you have to live with and these were the answer for me. Nice to try em on at home and really give it some thought too, sales people in a store aren't going to have to wear them all day or shake out on some tiny face holds w/o rolling off em. Thanks Zappos for making it easier to fit these right.

this was a horrible purchase. the shoe doesn't fit and the size was about 5 times smaller than my actual size.
