Blundstone sizing has been consistent on me for the last three pairs of their boots. Many reviewers suggest's ordering a size smaller and that holds true for me. I usually wear a men's 9M or 8.5 wide which is often are to find. So I ordered an Aussie size 7 which is equal to USA size 8. The color is brown but sometimes appears to have a touch of grey. That will likely disappear with polishing. The best part of Blundstone for me is how versatile and comfortable their boots are. I now have a brown and black pair, wear them with a suit or jeans, great for travel, etc. Their boots shed water and snow yet can be worn any time of year.

This is my second pair of blundstones. I still have the first pair (going on 5 years) and use them for carpentry/landscaping projects around the place. But they were suede and eventually got too scruffy for work. Enter these babies. I bought them right before heading off to Europe for a few months for work. Normally, taking an untested pair of boots for a trip like that would end in disaster--blisters, blood, tears, and a trip to the $hop$. But such was my faith, given my experience. And they held up great. I probably averaged 5-6 miles a day walking up and down windy cobblestone streets, and running for trains and planes. They slip off and on, so they are great for airport security. You can kick them off and grab a little rest on that long train ride . And you will look pretty sharp, so you won't stick out among the stylish Euro crowd. Now back in the US, I dress them up for work, walk the dog, or just tramp around the city. They are the first thing I grab because they slip on, they are sturdy for bad weather, and they are very comfortable. Rough terrain or smooth, city or country, at home or abroad, I highly recommend these. Two additional things you should bear in mind. First, the pair I purchased 5 years ago were a 9 1/2 US. They were a little roomy, though they eventually (after a few years) shrank to my foot a bit. This time, I ordered 9US thinking I had it figured out. But these were roomy like the 9 1/2s were. They are alright anyway, but keep this in mind when selecting your size. Second, treat them the moment you decide you are keeping them. I think had I been a little more fastidious about that with the first pair, I might never have bought the second.

Rustic brown is not even remotely close to the color shown online. It's ore like olive with dark splotches.

New to blundstones and had to have them! So this is the 3rd pair I purchased before it was the correct fit. I was sandwiched right in between a woman’s 9.5 and 10 with the round toe originals (585 I think?) I’m typically a 9.5 in boots. Too short on toe in 9.5 but too much room on 10 even with their special insert they send with each pair. And i had on decent thickness socks. I read somewhere that the dress version with chisel toe had a bit more wiggle room on length but some complained the instep was way to constricting. But had to try… or give up. and these were perfect! Perfect toe space and instep for me despite my bunions and high instep. And I personally love that these are a bit less clunky looking with less rugged tread. Looking forward to breaking them in!

Definitely had to do the size conversion from AUS to US... but that did the trick. Normally I wear an 11 and I have wide feet, so I ordered the 10.5... the halfs apparently just mean wide in AUS... anyways, the length was great. Definitely taking some time to break them in, but they are very comfortable otherwise. The only tightness I have is oddly on the top of my feet, but I do have high arches. I would recommend. The rustic color is a darker brown than in some of the pictures, and when I rubbed them with mink oil, they got darker. I like the color, but definitely not as distressed as some of the pictures show. Have been great in all the salt and snow and water - use them to walk to dog in the city and my feet have never gotten wet, trudging through snow and puddles.

Fits like a glove. Blundstone Sizing can be tricky. I’m normally a size 12 in Adidas, Nike, On and others and I’m more on the Narrow side versus Normal to Wide. I’m actually a size 10 in all Blundstone Boots. Anytime there is a “half” size it’s based on width. Half sizes are “Wide” and Blundstone doesn’t half a true half size. Extremely comfortable and great looking boots.

Fit was true to size and very comfortable but choose to return these and keep the BL585's because I felt they would be better for all around use like hiking, etc. The BL1306 boots are more streamlined but don't have the treads the 585's have.

Love these boots! I can’t wait for the fall to start wearing them. I will say I had a little trouble getting them off because they are stiff. I imagine they Will loosen up some as I wear them.

5 stars for a beautiful, well crafted boot. I just wish I could have kept them. I have a wide foot (EEE), fortunately my BL550s are on the wider side with supple leather and they fit me in a AUS 11 quite well. These were about a 1/2" narrower at the widest part of the box and way too tight. Bummed. I really wish Blundstone would do their wide sizes through AUS 11.5.

They feel great. They are my second pair. They are a little bit more narrow then I remember but they do stretch. I still find the elastic to be tight after a few months of wear.

This boot is amazing! I have worn these boots about 5 times a week for over 2 years and they are just as good as the day I ordered them. I replaced the insole with one that has better arch support. At first the new insert squeaked so I coated the inside with baby powder and no more squeak. My only caution is that this particular sole can be slick on wet/icy ground. After wearing them for 2 years the soles are still good, the leather is in good shape (I have added a leather wax to it on a regular bases), and the stitching has been great. I did have to re-sew one of the pull tabs back on but that has been the only repair that these boots have needed. In the winter my feet do get cold, but that is to be expected from a non-insulated boot. Overall amazing buy.

I love how lightweight these are. They don't move around on my feet like some other slip-on boots I've had. The rustic brown color comes already looking a bit worn in, which is what I wanted. And the shape and cut of these is much less bulbous than some of the old the Blundstones I previously ordered and returned. The sizing was great as long as you convert from AU to US. Overall love them!

Love the fit and color the moment I put them on. Very versatile boot and great for walking around the city or hiking.

Really love these boots. Bought them for the winter here in Steamboat and could not be happier. They were the perfect fit right out of the box- I did size them down to a 8.5 (normally a 9) per the other reviews here and it was the right call. They look great with a pair of jeans or my work pants, and they get better the more you scuff them up. All in all a great boot and I may buy a few more pair to stash away for later!

I really like my Blundstones! I needed a good solid boot for chores in the garden, chicken coops, etc. after reading other reviews, I ordered a 1/2 size smaller - I generally wear an 8.5/9 and ordered an 8.5. It's a still a bit on the big side, but with some happy feet insoles they are snug (maybe too snug, still debating!). Love the look and the solid feel of these boots and they are breaking-in nicely.

Super comfortable right out of the box! True to size, easy to stand in & work in all day, really like the rustic color. Highly recommend!

This shoe is excellent. Hands down one of the most comfortable, versatile shoes I've owned. As a barista I stand on my feet a lot and these are the first pair of shoes that were extremely comfortable right out of the box. Great support for the ankle, great sturdy sole and a really nice looking shoe. I've been recommending them to all my friends and am happy to recommended them here as well. These shoes felt true to size but remember they are Australian sized so follow Zappos' suggestion and you'll be fine. They aren't wide shoes but as someone with wide feet these are incredibly comfortable and do not feel tight.

I bought a pair of Blundstone's 1306 Rustic Brown, can anyone tell me if they have the same problem as me with the boots fits good but the top part of the boots hurt my legs anyone else have that problem? I'm usually a size US 9 or US 9.5 and a size 5 which is size 8 US fit me .

I've been wearing #510 style for over 20 years and have loved them. I switched up to try out these 1306 because I liked the rustic brown color, but BOY was that a mistake! I've had them for over a year now and they are so tight on top (the v stitch area right at the top of the foot) that they are unwearable. I've tried for a year to break them in (never had this issue with the 510) using cans of soup and then professional cobbler inserts. Even with the thinest of socks I can only wear them for a half hour before my feet ache, and they'll ache for the rest of the night after I take them off. I don't have high arches or wide feet and again, have always worn other Blundstones without issue. I can't find any info online that says these shoes are narrower and shorter than other styles of blundstones but that has absolutely been my experience. They are going to be a $200 donation to goodwill unfortunately.

These boots are stylish and comfortable for all day, but they don't hold a waterproof coating or hold up well in the field. They didn't keep my feet dry (walking through dewy grass was enough to soak through) and a year in, the leather is shot, the sole has detached from the upper, the heels are uneven. Beautiful, just not meant for daily farm work.

These are the most painful shoes I have ever worn. I have walked miles and even shoved bigger boots inside these Blundstones to try and stretch or break them in. They hurt my feet so much. I hate them. I have to now try to work them into some condition that I can wear them.

They are not true to size. I ordered a U.S. 10.5 and when it got here they were huge! I sent them back for a U.S. 10

Very bad construction on one shoe. Very low instep. Had to give them away to charity.

Zero break in period. US mens 10 was perfect. For reference, I wear Hoka 11 wide for running. Have worn these for over 6 and a half year before now replacing them with exact same style and size. Heals worn down and can't readily be fixed. This was after having walked a few thousand miles in the boots, mainly on sidewalks. Once news ones arrive I'll track down a cobbler who can figure out a workable fix maybe swap out the soles. Probably expensive to do but the uppers are still in great shape.

This is my second pair of this model (first bought in 2013) and I have 2 other colors in this boot. I love them! They wear well, are comfortable and good looking. Well worth the investment. They are stylish and can be worn to work or play.
