I work on a land surveying field crew on an island in New England. This means we are out on raw land and on construction sites all the time, my boots take a beating, I tore through a pair of Timberland Pit Boss Pro's in a few months, Bogs took a couple months also. These Blundstones? still going strong after 2 years (I do switch to winter boots for about 3 months a year for snow). These have held up incredibly well and have become my go-to shoe. They are not as bulky or heavy duty as most work boots which is good for me since can wear them in the field and then throw on some skinny jeans with them and head out to the pub and they look great. I traipsed about Europe for 2 weeks in these and they held up hiking around the coast of Sweden and dining in Amsterdam. I was walking every day and my feet never hurt. I also love the green elastic, the new colors add a little subtle flare. If you're looking for a well made, timeless, comfortable boot, look no further. If you're on the fence because of the price, buy them. These boots are a great investment, I bet I get another 2-3 years out of these and that is with me being REALLY hard on them. If I didn't do survey work and just wore them for normal day to day stuff I'd expect these would last me 10 years or more. They just look better and better with age. note: I did replace the sock liner with some hiking insoles I had on hand and that made a difference for me, it gave me a little more arch support than the insoles that came with it. Get these boots. You'll love them.

I ordered these for my daughter for urban city wear and for winter/mud season in Vermont. They are beautiful boots and she found them comfortable right out of the box with the exception of being very snug on her very high instep, but they seem to be stretching there and breaking in well. They are really gorgeous. She wears a women's 11 wide and I ordered her an Australian men's 8.5. Note that on the Blundstone site they say explicitly that the half sizes are the wide version of the whole size, not a half size longer. This seems to have worked out well for my daughter. I am going to buy myself a pair as well!

I'm a women's US 8, and I ordered a size 5 -- they fit perfectly. I wear these boots everyday for winery work, but they are also perfect for everyday wear in the city. I will say, they feel much more secure/comfortable with a thicker sock like a hiking sock. I wouldn't wear them with a thin everyday sock, they'd slip around or rub. They have a nice thick sole, which I love, but I may need to buy some kind of insert...the footbed is quite hard. The rest of the boot breaks in really well, but I still feel a little like I'm walking on concrete sometimes. One other clarification...these boots in the Stout Brown/Olive are NOT actually brown. I mean I think they are but JUST barely. I wear them with black pants, and looking down at them I really cannot tell a difference, they look black. Fine by me, but just not as brown as they look in the Zappos pic!

I've worn Blundstones off and on for 12 years and these boots measure up just fine. I've heard that quality had decreased since the shift to a new manufacturing location, and I don't see it. The leather seems a bit thinner, but the build looks the same. The only complaint I have is that when my old Blunnies would wear the leather was a nice light brown color under the polish. The scuffs I have on these reveal a grey colored leather. Bummer, as the nice brown tones the boot took on with age made them look really nice in my opinion.

My feet are wider and I need a good arch support. These are my second pair and only because my feet have gotten bigger. They last forever and are comfortable right out of the box!

Great fit but if you have a high arch, these shoes are probably not for you. My right foot has a slightly higher arch and there is pressure over the top of my foot that is getting better as I break in the shoes. Otherwise I absolutely love them!

Well, it's hard not to love my Blundstones. They are the perfect everyday boot for all types of work and play! They are great for running to that Saturday morning farmers market, to that afternoon client meeting.....either way you can't go wrong....

I was really disappointed to learn that these are made in Vietnam. I was looking for this information, didn't see it, and assumed for the price that the pull tabs marked with Australia/New Zealand were representative of the country of origin. Overall, the boot is thin and flimsy material, from the leather to the stitching to the sole and welt. I would have bought a different item had I known. These are not going to break in and cannot be resoled. They are cheaply made and they show it. Compared to the majority of shoes available on the market, they are the same; they will last a year. I'm willing to pay more for a better quality product that will last a few years and generally I've found the country of origin to be a helpful indicator of this.

They fit so well right out of the box and I've worn them everyday since I got them!!! I'm hopeful they will loosen up and mold to my feet even more. I did size up a half size because I have wide feet I'm usually a US women's 11 and I got a AUS mens 8.5

I wound up having to size up a full shoe size to get the fit right for my high arch and high instep. The smaller sizes fit in overall length but were way too snug over the top (instep) portion of my fit. The toe box is very roomy and my foot fits down into the shoe bed nicely with no slippage! A bonus is that these seem incredibly supportive around my ankles which was a bit beyond what I thought I was getting. The leather is very stiff and the back portion is pretty rigid but from all my reading, that portion should relax some with wear. Overall - I’m thrilled.

If you are looking for a classic style and durability this is what you want! Normally I wear size 7.5 medium. When I ordered 7.5 it was slightly too small for me. Size 8 is more like it, because I like to wear medium weight socks AND I must wear foot inserts. Beautiful craftsmanships and colors too. Absolutely a must have.

The boots look great and are well made, but as I feared the fit is a bit off. I'm a EU 42/42.5 (R/L foot), with a C+ width and usually buy a size men's size 9. I went with the comparable size in Blundstone, and ended up with heel lift leading to large blisters. Even after swapping out insoles and using different types of heel pads, I can't seem to get them to fit right. Unfortunately, I only noticed the fit issues after walking a few miles outside, thus making them unreturnable. The forefoot feels great, so while sizing down would solve the issue with my heels, it may create new issues towards the front of the boot. Perhaps Blundstones just aren't made for me as much as I want to like them.

This is the second attempt to find a pair of Blundstones that fit. First of all, the dearth of information regarding the many different styles, all with similar reference numbers, made it confusing. I didn't realize there were so many and even the Blundstone website doesn't really have adequate info so it certainly isn't Zappo's fault. I have a narrow, low-arched 7-7.5 foot that is really picky. I had to size UP to the equivalent of US 8 in order to have a good fit. That said, they are loose but I don't mind. I need shoes with good support and these feel wearable. My arch feels supported and my heels don't hurt immediately. I like the way they influence my posture - in other words, they don't throw me slightly off balance with a weird heel to forefoot ratio which my Keens do. They are not squishy though so you might want to add a soft insole. Hope this helps!

Purchased these boots for a month-long trip through Africa and they are absolutely the best boots ever! I took two pairs (one was another brand) so I could alternate, but I found myself gravitating to the Blundstones each morning. I wish I had purchased two pairs of these instead. They are a very well made, basic boot. I had to order a size smaller than my usual, and I wore them with mid-weight hiking socks. No rubbing anywhere, which meant no blisters or sore spots. My feet have high arches that often rub against the tops of boots, but that didn't happen with these. I tried several different types of Blundies before I decided on these. Some of them were more difficult to get on and off than others, but I didn't have a problem at all with these, even right out of the box. By the end of the trip they were well broken in, and I was able to slip right out of them without bending over. These boots got me through tough, steep mountain hikes in wet forests, and long walks through sand and boulders in dry riverbeds. They kept my feet protected without feeling rigid & stiff like many boots. When I arrived home they were so dirty I didn't think they would ever look nice again, but after a light wipe down w/saddle soap, they look good as new. One thing though, if you plan to hike in sandy areas, it's a good idea to make sure your pants legs go over the boots, or use gaiters, to keep debris from getting in them. I'll be wearing these a lot.

Wow, for a supportive boot-like shoe, these come close to feeling like slippers on your feet. Lightweight. The only disappointment was that they were advertised as Brown and the shoe box they came in says brown but, they are definitely Black. I'm still keeping them.

I recently moved to very rugged country from the city and searched for a low-top workboot. The search returned all Blundstone boots. Based on the size guide I ordered size 8-1/2 and size 8 in case they ran large. I ordered this boot and one other style. Turns out the boots run small, and I ended up with size 9 in order to get room in the toe box. I have long second and middle toes. The boots came with a waterproofing wax, but I haven't used it yet. They are very stiff and sturdy with a thick lug sole. They pull on with two tabs which are needed. I got sores on the backs of my ankles from rubbing, but now I roll my socks down for cushioning. I expect to be wearing these boots 10 years from now when they will have become as comfortable as the slippers I used to slip on in the city.

Comfortable as soon as I put them on. Usually have to break boots in but not these. Look nice and great for walking longer distances. Highly recommend! Make sure you use the size chart - sizes different from American sizing

Fabulous boot and so very comfortable. Though I have a very narrow foot, this boot accommodates an extra insert to make the fit perfect.
