I work in a brewery and thought these shoes would work well for me but I was wrong. The soles aren't meant for indoor use at all. Not only are the soles not non-slip but they're more like extra-slip. I'm not upset since they don't claim to be a restaurant shoe. I'll wear them for yard work and continue my search for a work shoe.

I bought these for my husband at Christmas time. They were so difficult to get on due to the size of the opening that we had to return them. The shoe itself is really nice looking.

I got these to wear to the office on slushy days. I wear a business suit. These look like they will due the trick for most situations where the snow isn't super deep. They are short enough for me to wear my slacks to my ankle without being tucked in. My Kamik tall heavy duty boots feel great but look a bit too ridiculous outside of major snowstorm conditions to wear to the office.

I'm an early riser and often work out in my yard & garden when things are still wet from the previous night's dew or rain. After fifteen minutes in regular gym shoes my feet would be soaked, but now with my new Bogs shoes...problem solved! They fit somewhat tight due to the elastic band just below the ankle, but this feature actually keeps dirt & debris out of the shoe. Only concern is that after wearing this shoe for 4+ hours, my feet start to ache. Wish there was additional support for the arch of the foot.

This is my fourth pair of Bogs. The first pair was a Tillamook Bay and lasted 6 years of heavy use before the top rubber finally started to crack. The second pair is a thicker weight Craftsman for winter use and is still doing a good job. The third pair was another Tillamook Bay for summer but I was surprised to find that it was changed to a thicker weight and is too warm for summer. I finally ordered the Urban Farmer which seems to be the same weight as my original Tillamook Bay. It's quite comfortable but is very difficult to put on as the ankle material is too tight. The left boot caused a blister on the back of my ankle but one week of using a bandaid seems to have helped. We'll see. Otherwise a great boot for wet or dry in the summer. A boot shoe horn now helps to put them on but I'm hoping this will improve as the ankle material wears in.

It's spring time and after a harder winter than usual, I had to retire my ole' trusty boots. I do constant farm work--in the barn, in the fields, lots of animal chores--but didn't want to be stuck with barn boots or work boots all the time. Wanted a slip on that would let me do routine chores easily. These fit that bill very well! Easy to slip on and off, keep my feet dry, and let me get to the chores without having to tie or pull on boots. I wear a 9 1/2, so I ordered the 10 and they are comfortable with or without socks. Go on pretty easily, but if you don't want to struggle with the pull tab, I can see why some people would recommend a shoe horn. They aren't the prettiest girl at the dance, and I wouldn't wear them in to town shopping, but they sure make getting out to do chores a lot more pleasant, and they feel good on my feet.

I am disappointed, because we were expecting the same great fit and feel of the mid-size Bog Boot, and found the fit tight around the ankle and snugger than a size 9 usually fits. It is a shame that these shoes are not available in multiple widths and half sizes.

The shoe fits as marked BUT the ankle opening is so small its impossible to wear without pain after 10 minutes. Couldn't size up because the shoe fit well, and was roomy in the toe box, but the opening was so tight, husband had to return. Too bad, he loved the shoe, but found it terribly uncomfortable.

I purchase the Urban Farmer to replace the Tillamook Bays I had worn out. I wanted a less aggressive sole, and the UFs seemed to fit the bill. However, I found it very difficult to pull them on. They fit fairly high on the ankle and so have a restricted space to get a foot through. I'm exchanging the UFs for a Sauvie Slip-on. The two models seem designed for similar tasks, but the Sauvies appear to have a larger entry space.

This shoe makes hot feet. It is comfortable, but has a tight fit around the ankle. It requires a shoe horn to put on, and probably because of the tight seal around the ankle it is hot. Probably fine in cold weather only.

Once you get this boot/shoe on, it fits great and lives up to expectations. However, I was looking for a boot that was easy and quick to get on and off. I have normal sized feet and ankles, and yet I need a shoe horn to get these on. I'm hoping once they get broken in more that will no longer be the case.

There was no replacement for the Rue for women that I LOVED. So I am trying the Men's Urban Farmer. I like the shoe and the recommendation for size adjustment was correct. BUT to get it on is a real struggle! Must use a shoe horn and opening is so narrow! Once the shoe is on it is great so far. I like the way the snug ankle "collar" keeps straw and hay out of my shoe. Bring back the Rue for women!!!

Most excellent for this urban farmer, however, it was almost impossible to get them on even with a long-handle shoehorn. I have had them a week and it is getting easier, but these boots are ON YOUR FEET AND DON'T WANT TO COME OFF. Yet I love them.

I bought these shoes for my husband because I thought they were the same ones I bought the last two times, which he really loved. I guess the ones he loved may have been called "Journey," and Bogs no longer makes them. He said the Urban Farmer has a narrower sole, which is less stable, and doesn't have the reinforced toe. He uses these shoes to work in the field and around the house outside, so he really appreciated the stability and durability of the previous design. I'm sorry it's no longer available.

As others have pointed out, these are very difficult to put on, requiring two hands (one on the pull tab and the other under the heel) and a seat to get the proper grip. Once on, they are comfortable and look good. But the hassle to get them on is way more trouble than I will continue to endure since I doubt the rubber will stretch out over time, so these are going back for a refund.

Initially, I was very excited about the shoes. They met my needs for a waterproof shoe that could be used in a wide variety of situations. I was even happy with the fit of the shoe at first. But, after several days of wear, I realized that the heel rubs in a very uncomfortable way, and I started getting blisters and marks up near my achilles tendon.

It's a great looking farmer shoe but unfortunately it is such as hassle to get them on that they just won't work for me. Once they are on, they feel a little tight but very solid. Great idea to put a steel shank for shoveling, but that's probably what makes them nearly impossible to get on. I bought a shoe horn, and even with that help, it was a struggle. Not worth the hassle.

My 2nd pair in the last 5 yrs. Returned this pair because of blistering on toe and sides. I felt they might result in holes. First time I have ever returned a Bogs product. I anxiously await my replacement pair.

Good for slipping on and going out onto our fields. Bottoms do well with ice. Do not provide good stability or cushioning. Developed a hole and leak in the sole after 1 1/2 years of wear which was disappointing.
