My feet stay dry walking around the farm with wet grass everywhere. Easy on and off.

Second purchase of these wonderful shoes! They don't wear out, I just wanted one at the cabin and one for home. Awesome!

Very tough construction. Comfortable to wear, but it takes a shoe horn to get them on.

I bought Urban Farmer after many years it was first released. I read comments that the fit is very tight especially when putting on the boots. With these comments, I was expecting it to be tight when I first opened the box. To my surprised, I was pleasantly delighted to find I managed to put my ankle in on first try. I did not struggle and I was wearing a thick pair of Explorer socks. The sole is very firm however the heel design needs a little getting use to because they deliberately design it rounded instead of flat. I feel a slight wobble on my heel however I do not think it will jeopardise ones balance. Having owned a pair of Carsons boot, the fit of Uraban Farmer is much better, bearing in mind Bogs might have re-engineered the fit. Overall I am satisfied with the fit and aesthetic of the boot.

I hike in the snow and wet.

I bought these for my brother in law for christmas...he LOVES them. He picked them out himself, so I was hoping he would like them...and he did! He said they're the best Christmas present that he received. He really wanted comfortable waterproof shoes, as we live in Hawaii and it often rains throughout the day and he wanted something comfortable for outdoor wear. He LOVES them, did I Say that already? They're great. He's a size 11, I ordered a 12, and that was the best idea. Now I want a pair.

We ordered pairs of both men's and women's shoes for exploring the ocean bottom at Nova Scotia's Bay of Fundy. While the surfaces were slippery, these shoes provided excellent traction for both of us. In addition, they kept our feet dry, as we sloshed through the mud and wet sand of the ocean bottom. They protected against sharp broken shells and the men's pair fit like a glove or flipper, so no water got inside. The women's pair (a lower-cut version) allowed for socks (which got wet, of course, but the shoes dried easily). The women's pair (ordered previously for a prior trip) was also worn on rainy days on the cobblestone streets in Lisbon Portugal and proved very comfortable for hours of walking. After enjoying the comfort of the shoes in Lisbon, we ordered a men's pair for a trip to Nova Scotia.

These are without a doubt the greatest pair of garden shoes I have ever owned. I am 64 and have the aches and pains to prove it. In the past with other supposed garden shoes after a couple of hours my back a legs would start to ache and I would have to stop. With these I have been out in my garden all day without the usual aches. My only reluctance at first was the price and honestly I would now pay twice as much and still think I got a bargain. Thank you Bogs so much for setting me free to work all day in my garden. Really cool feature is the elastic top band, I never have any dirt or stuff in my shoes even after a full day. They offer excellent support and while I would gladly buy another pair they are so well made I don't think I will ever ware these out.

For yard work

Just went through a snow storm and boots came in hand for running around doing various business without having to wear heavy boots.

I use these shoes in surgery.

My husband loves these! After reading other reviews I bought a half size larger & they fit him perfectly. He slips them on to go out & feed our dogs & horses. He said they are comfortable & his feet stay dry.

Keep feet dry

I work in operations for an airline and have to navigate oils, fuel and other liquids snd ned grip plus protection in wet conditions. Great shoe with tough endurance.

These may be the best-designed shoes I've ever had. They perform brilliantly in muck and high water. Caveat 1: Take care when walking on smooth surfaces. Aggressive tread is slippery when coming in from rain. Caveat 2: First pair was defective (glue between parts didn't seal, creating a leak). Many shoes have this problem. The difference with Bogs is they replaced them by mail in a couple of days. New pair perfect.
