I like the styling of the boot when I saw it online and after receiving it did not disappoint. It is a very rugged boot. I work on the railroad and have to walk on rocks. I did make the mistake of taking a long walk when I initially received the boot. this food needs breaking in time. After putting a little tape on my heel I was fine.

I do disaster service work (rebuilding homes) and am very rough on my boots, being exposed to a wide variety of elements. When I got these, I thought Wow, they are huge! Right off the bat, they were comfortable and did not feel as heavy and bulky while wearing them. Quality is very good.

My husband got these for working on the job site where he needs steel-toed boots. Waterproof and light weight makes the day easier. He bought them only 6 months ago and although the boot itself looks to have a lot of life in it still the lace hook kept breaking his laces (seem to be sharp on the inside edges) so we tried a pair of leather laces. These were too big to fit comfortably in the lace hook so my husband tried to bend them out a bit...they don't bend. Now they are broken...so he ordered a second pair of this boot. They are super comfortable for work boots. Not sure what to do about the laces breaking. Maybe this pair will work better.

The quality of this this boot is amazing. I was looking for a safety boot to wear on a project at a power plant. I'm an engineer and I have to walk a lot and climb up and down stairs all day. I had to return this boot because of it's weight. My size 12M was about 3 lbs. each and that's too heavy to be climbing stairs all day. I wish I could have kept them because of the quality and comfort. They were just too heavy.

This is my 2nd consecutive pair of Keen boots. Wore my 1st pair daily for 18 months! I enjoy the overall quality and design of their shoes. I work/walk all day long in a large corporate office in cubicles and under desks or up/down ladders. These boots perform very nicely. Great support for ankles and good durability of toes, eyelets and soles. I wear them, on average, 16 hours a day, also at my farm, both before and after work. These boots can keep up with me.

These boots are super heavy. Will have your legs feeling fatigued fast

Would have been the best boots ever if the steel toe had not adjusted after impact. Great for protection!

Fit was great, however I ordered the wide and it was actually a bit too wide. Also, with the reinforced toe these boots were so heavy I'd have to be a body builder and wear them during leg exercises so that I could actually lift them for regular work day function.

Just do not fit. Tried the regular width which was too wide. This boot has some thing squishing toe box. Intolerable.

I ordered these for work as I work on a university campus and spend the majority of my time on my feet or walking outside to get to different locations. I needed non-slip, durable, comfortable work shoes. These boots are heavy, tough and seem true to size. I would not say they are built for comfort; however, they are built for work. They are going to take some time getting broke in and used to as I've only had non-slip S.A.S. shoes for the past 10 years. I will review further if there are any troubles.

Fit and size were fine. I returned these boots for when I tried on the right boot, the upper hook on which to lace the boot popped out with very little force. This speaks more to the craftsmanship rather than fit. I had success with two other pairs of Keen boots and would like to try them again but, at this point, I am not a fan of Keen.

These were very clunky and heavy

This was my first time buying Keen Steel toes for work and I only got 6 months wear out of them. Usually I get at least a year with other brands. I won't buy this brand again because the quality is poor.

These are not worth the price. I ordered my first pair from Zappos. They were wonderful to deal with. The second day I laced them up, one of the upper lace hooks broke off. I returned them to Zappos with no trouble. The third day of the second pair, two upper lace hooks broke. One on each boot. Needing boots, and not wanting to send another pair back, I drilled all the hooks off and lace the boot strings through the eyelets left by the hook rivet holes. I really like the comfort and looks of the boots, but I do not think that I will be buying Keens in the future.

First off Zappos customer service is amazing. However, these boots do not measure up to their price. Two pair, one returned to Zappos, the other will be, both pair had an upper lace hook break on the second day of wear. Second day. The style and comfort are very nice for a steel toed work boot. But the material used is sub-par to say the least.
